If you can’t bite, better not show your teeth…even if they’re fangs. With Alex’s life hanging in the balance, Jenna is forced to travel to magical London and face the vampires to retrieve the heart of an elder god. Only this can cure her friend. But the vampires have other ideas and plan to use Jenna to help them gain an edge over their fae enemies. With the clock running out on Alex’s life, Jenna must navigate the dangerous city and return with her prize. But with so many people demanding her head, it’s going to take all of her strength and courage to survive the ordeal. And sometimes, the cure is worse than the disease…
This is book three of the Jenna Faith series. It was good but still as frustrating as ever. For most of the book Jenna was on her own. She handled herself well. Grey and Jenna still have not resolved their issues and I’m beginning not to care about whether they do or not. Once again, the book ends with a cliffhanger of sorts. I don’t like cliffhangers and I wish authors would not use them to get me to read the next book. If I like a series, I’ll continue reading. I might be done with this series, some things need resolution and Grey and Jennas relationship or lack there of has been strung out too long and every time they start to talk, they are interrupted. Every. Time. Gah!
This 3rd book started off from the first page. It never stopped at all until well onto the next book, of course. Well written, snarky heroine, Jenna; druid; Grey ; Alex an immortal or two, A Harpy;Sophie. Add into an empath, Carolyn and her little girl Emma. You have so many questions. Is Carmine still alive. Who or what is Eli? Who is the Elder that the beating heart belongs to in the box? More questions than answers. Oh, I forgot the old God's too Thor, and possibly Zeus. Jenna has been God Kissed by Thor. We must not forget Sophie our Harpie who is being torchered in Division 6 Headquarters. I would say that is a pretty good beginning of quite a great story. Bring it on.😃
I loved this book. Jenna, Grey, Alex and of course Merry. I just can't wait for the next in this series. This is my favorite series by Bilinda Sheehan. She is an excellent story teller.
Fae, druids, shifters, vampires, oh my! I have enjoyed reading Jenna Faith's adventures, can't wait to read more. Bilinda Sheehan when is the next adventure, I mean book coming out for this series?
