It’s Roan O’Shea’s world and we’re just here for the ride. And what a ride it is…

After a lifetime of living in fear (and by other people’s rules), Roan’s determined to use his ill-gotten talents and money to turn the quaint, quiet town of Sanctuary Mills into his own little slice of heaven. Living under the alias Flynn Gallagher, Roan is on a mission to undo the evil of his past, and win the hearts of his new neighbors, by spreading his own brand of joy and light. But, just when Roan thinks he’s pulled off the ultimate con, an FBI agent, a murder, and a mystery threaten to expose his past and his intricate web of identities and secrets.

It takes a special breed of criminal, and a massive set of steel-plated testicles, to pull off a Ponzi scheme targeting organized crime’s heaviest hitters. Agent Sherman Mathis has spent months hunting for Cillian McGregor, and every lead has been a dead end. Except Flynn Gallagher. The jet-setting wine enthusiast and blogger is the only victim of McGregor’s baffling scam who isn’t dead, in jail, or slammed a door in Sherman’s face, but he’s not the perfect source our agent was hoping for, once they finally meet. Sherman’s hopes for a lead vanish immediately and he begins to suspect Flynn is hiding something deeper and bigger than McGregor.

A small town like Sanctuary Mills should be child’s play for a master strategist and showman like Roan, but he learns the stakes are higher when his heart starts calling the shots. This time, he’s got his sights set on the ultimate prize and Roan won’t rest until he’s won Sherman’s trust, and his heart. He’s just got to solve a murder, come clean, and flip a Federal Agent.

Flipped is a sequel to Snatched and can be read alone but will contain many Snatched spoilers!

4.5 stars ❤️❤️ Roan & Sherman were adorable. When Roan commits, he commits and when he loves, he surely loves ! His energy was infectious and once you appreciated his back story you fell in love with him even more. I just wanted to hug Roan and I was glad that Sherman pulled his head out of his ass to love Roan and accept his unique quirks. Great book

This book is so much fun! Roan and Sherman are bloody adorable together. I loved how the story was brought together and the fact that Sherman essentially stalks Roan in his determination to crack his final FBI case before retirement. The shenanigans that ensue whilst "Flynn" draws Sherman in are hilarious and I'm not quite sure I'd find his antics quite as endearing as Sherman eventually does. They're absolutely perfectly matched however, and this story is SO much fun to read as a result.

The murder mystery in this book isn't as as exciting as all the events in Snatched however, what I really, really like is the fact that each book in this series is individual in its approach and narrative yet has this brilliant string of events and characters holding it all together. I love the way Roan brings Sherman to the truth and the honorable way his true character shines through.

As an aside, I legitimately could see a cross over with the Lake Cliff boys and would love to see Roan and Reginald in a room together, it would be hilariously delightful (though Roan and Lavender would possibly be terrifying, lol).

If you haven't read anything by this author, I'm asking you "what are you waiting for???" because honestly, as a former US army counterintelligence agent K Sterling intuitively writes exciting mysterious, fantastic murderers and hilarious, sexy relationships that will keep you wanting more.

Let's start off by saying this is a brand new author for us and we absolutely loved our first story by them.I loved everything about this story and it's character's.The story had such amazing character's and a plot that was funny and light and just one of those books that make you feel good because it has you grinning and smirking and laughing through the entire story.

Roan -Omg ! he was a riot! Roan made me laugh throughout the entire story.Roan was the play boy the man whore, the life of the party, sexy as sin,had an amazing sense of humor, a clever mind and can charm a entire town and make them all fall in love with him but, he also carries a deadly secret and when his family is threatened in any way the dark and dangerous side of his personality comes out to play and he is deadly as sin.

Agent Sherman Mathis on the other hand was a straight laced FBI agent who can't seem to stay away from the playboy that taunts him with his sexy good looks and his cocky attitude and his amazing vibrant personality but, he knows that the man is not all that he seems to be and he won't quit until he uncovers all the mans secrets.

This was one hot read.Sherman and Roan had amazing chemistry and a whole lot of fun and some really hot sex! I thought this couple needed each other for a lot of different reasons but, for Sherman he only lived a half a life since he lost someone close to him but, meeting Flynn/Roan jumped started something inside him and boy did Flynn /Roan take him on one hell of a ride.

Overall I love this story from cover to cover and I could not put it down. The story was filled with humor and murder deception, secrets, righting the wrongs of one past, and finding love and in all the wrong places but, laying it on the line to keep what you found and hoping the one you love loves you enough to survive your secrets. What an awesome story and we enjoyed ever bit of it .After reading meeting Roan in Snatched we already were in loved with the crazy man but, he made us fall head over heals in love with him all over again.

Recommended read to all as well as the entire series as it was a whole lot of fun.

Flynn (Roan) has settled into Sanctuary Mills. He’s determined to make his perfect little town as perfect as possible. Aiding the residents as much as he can, after all what good does a fortune do sitting in a bank. Taking care of his brother Dilon and brother-in-law Jake, is his top priority. Then Sullivan show up looking for a bad man. Not realizing the man is right in front of him playing Flynn, will steal his heart. Flynn decides very quickly the Sullivan will be his.

Roan is one of the best secondary characters ever. I’m so glad he got his own book. The control Roan has over his little world is absolute. He pushes all the buttons and controls all the outcomes. Until a friend is murdered and every thing implodes.

The characters are well formed and have multi layers that make them so real. A good mystery and an FBI agent falling in love with his prey was perfect. The layers in this book, the past that affects the present. So many things set into motion years ago coming to fruition. A very entertaining and engaging story.

Fast and entertaining read.

Another hit from Ms Sterling.
I love cops and robbers stories. I also love me a good anti hero, and Roan/Flynn is this, in spades. Once again, a great story from Ms Sterling. She never disappoints.

If you like a story with a lot of banter this is for you. The dialogue is so clever and funny. Roan is a whirlwind and he literally sweeps Sherman off his feet, he doesn't know what's hit him. It was so funny seeing this huge, stoical and tough FBI agent crushing on Roan.

After their initial meeting and the past coming back to bite Roan, (no spoilers), they become an unstoppable pair. They're absolutely perfect for one another, and so hot together, the sex scenes in this are really hot and fun as well. Roan totally steamrolled Sherman, and turned him into a pile of mush.

It's a fast read but it never feels rushed. The storyline moved quickly, and kept my attention throughout, I really wished that this was a longer story. I just wanted to read more banter between all the characters. So fun and funny.

If you like tough guys, clever dialogue, hot sex and tight writing read this book. The previous book to this one stars Roan's brother Dilon and his boyfriend Jake (Snatched). If you've not read it, you really need to. I have you tell you that you're missing out on a gem of a series here.

I'd love to see Roan and his crew show up in a book with the Lake Cliff Boys. Imagine Roan, Reginald, and Lavender together. Mind boggling thought! I really can't get enough of these guys. Thanks again Ms Sterling, another rip roaring and entertaining read.

I received an ARC for an honest review. Pre-release/non-spoiler review. (Release date 30th April)

This novel picks up where Snatched left off, and gives Roan his shot at happily-ever-after. With his new identity, and living in a quiet, idyllic town, Roan O'Shea is living his perfect life. Then FBI agent Sherman Mathis arrives, following a lead and threatening to turn Roan's life upside down.

Roan is trying so hard to live the carefree life he's always wanted, but he's hiding a lot of hurt. His determination to win over Sherman is adorable and hysterical.

I love K Sterling's writing style and sense of humor, and this story is another fun and sexy read. There's some mystery (of course!) and past hurt, and I love getting to be inside the characters' minds as they work through their fears and find love. The sexy times are amazing, as I have come to expect from this author.

It's refreshing to read a romance novel where the characters aren't all perfect and have done some questionable things to survive. We love them anyway. :)

Sherman is an FBI agent getting read to retire. he just has one last case to solve. He's in town trying to track down information on one of Roan's many aliases. He's not great at staking out Roan, and actually ends up staying with him in his home. i laughed out loud a few times. Sherman is one of my fave characters, grumpy sexy older bear. Roan def has a daddy fetish and Sherman hits all the spots. This is such a fun book, and I love the series. So well written, you just want more and more of these characters. one of the things i love most about K Sterling, you get to see past characters. to sum it up this is a hot read with some angst, not a ton, and lots of love! def read this series!

Loved it!

This one ended up being my favorite in this series. Roan/Flynn is an amazing character, and I loved watching him spin his web around everyone, all with the best of intentions. And Sherman (I *love* that name!) is the perfect fit for Roan. Patient, stern, handsome...I want a Sherman of my own! LOL. Seriously, this book is the perfect ending to this somewhat grim series. It’s lighthearted, sweet, and happy. A perfect HEA for all of our guys.

Loved this book so much!!! I loved seeing where the O'Shea brothers and Jake are now, along with their mom and Mick, and how they are settling into their lives in Sanctuary Mills after the events of Snatched. Roan, or Flynn Gallagher as he is now known, is ready to settle down a bit, and the life he has built for himself in their new town is a slice of heaven for him.. everything he had been waiting for his entire life. And then Sherman Mathis shows up...

Roan was everything I thought he would be and so much more. Yes, he is a total PITA a lot of the time, but in this book we get to witness Sherman peel back Roan's layers one by one, until he (and readers) can finally see the vulnerable, traumatized little boy he had been.. and the gooey center he likes to pretend he doesn't have. Basically, I flippin' adore him. And Sherman? He seems like the complete opposite of what Roan should want, but did anyone expect Roan would take the easy way? These two men are pure fire together - whether they are sniping at each other or having crazy hot sex all over the place. But a relationship, a real and lasting relationship, is simply impossible between these two men (especially after a particularly heartbreaking revelation from Sherman).. or is it??

Once again, K. Sterling takes readers on a thrilling ride that you won't want to put down. Secrets, mystery, action, suspense, romance, more secrets, seriously hot sex.. this book has it all. If you haven't read Snatched, I would highly recommend reading that before this book.

This is book 2 of a series and while it was promoted as standalone, I have to say, I could not get into the story, because I was missing a lot of connections and names. I definitely recommend reading the first book first, otherwise you’ll probably get as confused as I got while reading.
The two main characters were funny and I really enjoyed reading their banter and even laughed out loud at some parts, because their interactions were hilarious! I enjoyed peeling back the layers of Roan, even though the skipping between the names confused me in the beginning. Sherman was a bit of an enigma for me. I did not completely understand why he did what he did which made his actions sometimes a bit contrary to his character. In the end I liked how everything turned out and wish Sherman and Roan all the best.
Even though I enjoyed the book, I don’t give the full stars, because, as stated in the beginning, I had a hard time getting into it. There were so many names, sometimes more than one name for the same character and I did not get how they were all connected. Additionally I was missing a storyline. Some chapters were kind of ripped out of the context and I got confused as to what it meant for the story line.
All in all I had a lot of laughter while reading this book, but the confusing storyline and the many names put me off while reading, which is why I give 3.5 stars.

Well K Sterling does it again. Every time I think I've found my favourite book in a series the next one comes along and knocks it out of the park. This book has it all a brilliant plot line and amazing Characters.
From reading Dilan and Jake's story I wanted to read Roan's and as usual it doesn't disappoint.
Roan has worked hard at keeping his family safe and they are finally ready to settle down in Santuary Mill. So with Dilan as a neighbour called Gavin and Jake his husband Roan becomes Flynn.
Agent Sherman Mathis hopes to tie up his final case before he retires. That's what brings him here and to Flynn's door.
Both men know they need to stay away from each other but neither man wants to or can.
This book is hard to put down with a fantastic plot that keeps you going and characters you can fall in love with it's hard to put it down. This book needs more than 5stars. I can't recommend this book or in fact this author enough.

If you haven’t read any of this series yet I suggest you start with Throttle. You don’t have to but it does help with other characters. Roan and Sherman are my favorite of this series! You’re going to laugh so hard and smile big with these two.

Roan finally free to live his life the way he wants. No more looking over his shoulder. No more running around the country. He finally get to come home and be with his brother. Even find love and settle down. Roan isn’t what everyone see on the outside. He’s got a lot of secrets, a lot that no one knows, even his brother.

Sherman an FBI agent is looking for some answers for his case. An one man may have the answers. Flynn is an enigma that Sherman never expected. He fun, caring kind happy man and he just can’t figure him out.

But when all the secrets come out will Sherman be able to live with who Roan really is? What he’s done to have a perfect life?

I loved Roan after meeting him in Snatched. Devoted to his brother and doing whatever was needed to escape the Irish mob was how we were introduced. This book is where Roan really shines, and we get to see just how cunning, mischievous, and caring he can be.

Sherman is is an FBI agent nvestigating a ponzi type scheme with his last lead bringing him to Sanctuary Mills and Roan. He is older, nearing retirement and this is his last case. He decides to stay in town and see if he can get any closer to closing his case by following Roan.

The two are really cute together and watching Roan seduce Sherman was truly entertaining and fun! There is a murder mystery that the two are trying to solve while at the same figuring out what the two men mean to each other.

I found the whole book highly entertaining and not too heavy or angsty.

Flipped is another fantastic story by K Sterling. As I've come to expect from this author, the pace is fast, the action is unending, and the romance is sweet.

Roan and Sherman are both fun characters, and together they are sure to keep the reader entertained. Their romance is full of non-stop action, humor and a whole lot of heart, while they deal with danger, secrets, murder, and more. Overall, it's a great story of learning to live again, of finding joy in life.

I love the redemption of the bad guy and K Sterling excels in redeeming - Flipped is fun, riveting, and downright fantastic. K Sterling expertly entwines a kick-ass action tale with a wonderful romance. If you haven't read anything from this author yet, I highly suggest you do soon!

Oh Roan!! I'm not sure what I expected when I read this book but it wasn't this! I love Roan and Sherman!!

Flipped starts off were Snatched left off. Flipped is Roan's chance at happy ever after! And seriously what is more fun than cops and robbers? FBI and Mobsters!!

You gotta love a guy who when he says he commits he really commits, and that is Roan one hundred percent.

Roan and Sherman are just perfect together, and keep you wanting more. They entertain the reader! This is a story that proves opposites attract. Fun loving Roan, and serious, grumpy Sherman!

I cannot wait to get more of K Sterling's books after reading Snatched and Flipped!

Seriously, I loved every single word of it!! Both Roan and Sherman were so,so sweet and kind to each other and everything was sooo good!
I enjoyed the crime plot, loved the returning of Dilan and Jake, adored the protectiveness they have for each other and the family. Also, Roan's true cute and playful personality was delightful, and Sherman being there for him was sweet!
OVERALL, easily one of my favorite reads. Highly recommend!

What an entertaining and fun book to read. Roan was always my favorite of the brothers, so vivacious and full of life even after everything he went through growing up.
A game of cat and mouse between Roan and Sherman, but how exactly is the cat and who is the mouse is yet to be determined. And we can't forget about the murder, which is put on the back burner for some time and yes I did kind of forget about it until it was brought up again, but really it wasn't as pressing as making sure the nice federal agent was properly flipped.
It's a jam packed final entry in the Throttled series that will surely press all your buttons and leave you sweating and sporting a sh*t-eating grin.

Good series, Great finale!

I love when this author lets the characters, and the story take on a life of their own. I won’t try to describe it, as many others have already, but creating ‘characters’ like Roan seem to be K’s special gift. AND we caught a glimpse of Denver from Lake Cliff! (can you imagine Roan with that group!?!)
K Sterling is one of my favorite authors, especially when her super-human (good) bad boys take over. Check out her Boys of Lake Cliff series and Mr Lavender- you won’t regret it.

Flipped, is the story of Roan O'Shea, brother of Dilan O'Shea. We get to see what makes him tick, and what length he is willing to go to keep the ones he love safe!

I found Flipped to be a bit exhausting to read for some reason. I felt it was all over the place, with a bit too much of unnecessary stuff in it. I couldn't quite connect with the characters..it was just too much happening.

Another home run!

Although this was one of the ‘sweeter’ stories I’ve read by K. Sterling (most have a good bit of dark), I am totally in love with Roan and Sherman. I had a smile on my face through most of this book. Of course I always love a mystery and even though I figured this one out early, the journey was well worth it. Couldn’t put it down.

Grumpy Sherman and fun loving Roan were a treat to read. It was fun watching Roan drag Sherman out of his comfortable solitude back into the land of the living.

Flipped is filled with crafty one liners that will make you belly laugh as well as some hot sexy times. K. Sterling has a gift of writing unique MC's that you can't forget. Great weekend read.

Great book

I love k. Sterling and this book was another great read. I was looking forward to reading Roan’s story and he was funny to read. It was nice to see a little more of jake and Dilan. I really like how Ms sterling brings back previous characters to her books I think it helps continuity in a serious.

I absolutely loved this book!! Roan has had a horrific past but he is still a fun loving guy. Roan drags Sherman (kicking and screaming) back into the land of the living. They balance each other out perfectly. Roan is happy-go-lucky whilst Sherman is grumpy. This book is non-stop action, mystery, secrets and of course humor. The story had me in stitches! I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

I love Roan

Funny, hot, a great story in all ways. Roan is charming and vivacious and wins the hearts of everyone. Sherman is lucky enough to go along for the ride. I cracked up over the minions. My son has this long running joke how every child i meet becomes my minions, they instantly love me and follow me. So yeah it was hilarious.

This would have been a perfect 5 stars for me.. BUT Sherman constantly talking to Cyrus in his head was a huge turn-off for me. I wouldn't have minded if it was only a few times, but this was so frequent and practically in every chapter. It just felt too weird. But that was literally the only thing I disliked, I still loved Flipped in the end.

Probably one of the cutest couples you'll ever read about, with some intrigue and murder thrown in for good measure.
Works best if read in series order.
