Another Absolutely thrilling adventure with Zeb Carter and his Warriors, working for the President to keep the world safe!!! The characters are amazing, you feel you know each one deeply and care what happens to them in the explosive action that follows.
A plot that you know could actually be true in today's everyday life, with so many trying to get power in any way possible. Terror attacks occur all over the world, by single men who have never shown signs of hate before, killing people in many areas at once! The world leaders try to conclude who is involved, but No notes, no one takes credit, and the killings continue...

Zeb Carter book # 4
I have been a member of Ty’s launch team for years now and I still love his stories. Ty has 5 well thought out series some ideas taken from his highly fertile imagination and some from current and past events. One thing they have in common: all are graphic and layered with thrilling action and played out with a great cast. With each thriller we see how close the members are with each other, and how they will go to no end if anyone of them gets in trouble. Zeb Carter takes center stage in the Zeb Carter series but the team is close by.
Each thriller has a fresh spin and is as exciting as the previous one. Ty hasn’t lost his touch in providing us a fast-paced, action packed and the many twists that make us relentlessly turning pages. It is also difficult to figure out how everything will turn out by the end. Although we do have many clues, the plot keeps us thinking and guessing till the very end. This latest is no exception.

This thriller certainly can be read on its own merits Mr. Patterson does give some background on his team to situate us without overloading the narrative with too many details. But as always I suggest starting with book #1.

I’ve been reading in this genre for a very long time and I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve picked up a novel, novella, or even a short story by author Ty Patterson.
This series began back in 2018 I believe with the first Title “Zeb Carter: A Covert-Ops Thriller” and I of course would, as always recommend that you begin with the first book in order to maximize your “reading enjoyment” and “understanding” of the major characters (people) involved. However. That is totally necessary as I’m certain this title as well as the others could be read as “standalone” novels.
Ty Patterson’s protagonist “Zeb Carter” is not only a “man of action”, but also is a “thinker and a planner” as well, and I’ve found the books not only to be “action filled” and “suspenseful thrillers”, but also at times rather humorous as well. Perhaps “dark humor” but still humor.
I highly recommend this book as I started it and finished all 418 pages in the same day. I simply could not stop reading (much to my chores chagrin).
Now myself, and others, are going to have to sit back and wait patiently for Ty Patterson to deliver to us book #5 in the “Covert-Ops” series. Life is tough when you’re a reader.
Thank you Ty Patterson for the work you put into this it was a pleasure to read.
Highly Recommended. You should not come away disappointed.

Another gut-wrenching, un-put-downable read from Ty Patterson.
That saying "Ripped from the pages of today's news" is oh so true about this one. Terror attacks out of nowhere in so many places. Little connection--single men of an age--is about it. How do you figure how to stop something when you don't know how it started?
The major agencies of the world powers get together and in the end, those few who know a little about Zeb and the team agree he needs to take over with no restrictions. And take over they do, the brilliance of the twins, the other team members with their own special abilities and the team's instant, wordless responses when active are amazing and unmatched anywhere.
I rarely can choose a favorite book from authors I really enjoy. No problem this time. I can honestly say this is my favorite Ty Patterson book so far. I loved that the whole team was involved in the entire book. I really enjoyed finding out more background about Zeb and his lost family. Each team member has a life snapshot that is good to know if you are a new fan. Do not miss this story. Just be prepared to keep telling yourself, "This is not real. It is fiction. This is not real. It is fiction.

Fantastic thriller with a storyline that could actually be happening right now. This story takes place with a number of "lone wolf" killers whose social media pages don't have any indication that they are included to go out and kill people. The question is - are all of these killings random or are they being orchestrated by someone? If they are being orchestrated, who is the mastermind and what is the end game?
Once you start reading this book, you won't want to put it down. Even as each little mystery is solved, there are more questions raised. While this is the first book I've read from this author, I felt that I was able to enjoy it without having more of the background of the team members. Having said that, I am looking forward to going back to the start of this series to learn how the characters became a team and more of their background/relationships.

Zeb Carter is riding on a train in Berlin when hears the sound of an automatic weapon being fired in the next car. Although there are now dead and wounded, Zeb is able to kill the man.
However, within days, lone-wolf killings by seemingly normal people using a disparate variety of weapons appear in what seems to be a world-wide series of similar events.
After a couple of the attackers are captured and interviewed, the subsequent investigation shows no apparent cause that connects the attacks except their strong connection to social media sites on the internet. But as we all know, this is nothing out of the ordinary. The question is...are these terror attacks random? Or is there a specific cause?
Zeb Carter and his team are soon assigned to investigate these increasingly number of attacks across the planet. As they begin, they contact their friends in intelligence agencies across the world in order to ask for their assistance in stopping them.
Jump on aboard and find out what adventures the team incurs as they attempt to stop the unknown terrorist killing spree occurring across the globe.

Wow, what a ride! From the beginning scene in a German train, to the final speech by the President, Ty has you relentlessly turning pages. Just when you think you have it figured out, the story takes you on another path. The Zeb Carter series gets better with each new story. All of the characters are well thought out and have a depth to them that many authors just can't seem to put to print.

The best book yet and I thought each Zeb Carter book was the best. Sitting on the edge of your seat suspense, conspiracies for government take over. This book definitely has it all. Since I have read all of Ty's books, the characters are familiar friends. This book has it all!

Just when you thought a series couldn’t get any better it excels itself!
Such a brilliant read. Excellent, unusual plot, that’s scary in its realism. Zeb and the whole team are here doing what they do best. Add to that some new acquaintances and their “toys” - boy I hope we see more of these!
A superb addition to this great series. The subplot and characters develop nicely too and we see a subtle change to Zeb as he appears to finally be coming to terms with past events.

Just finished "Terror" this is the first time i have reviewed a book, so bear with me. The story line is both current and topical, the plot keeps you thinking and guessing (but the clues are there). Certainly recommend you put an afternoon/evening aside and sit and read. Very enjoyable

Scary good! Once again this author has taken a current topic in the world today and created a premise that holds your attention, takes you on a fast thrill ride, and delivers a satisfying conclusion. Scary because you can see how easily something like this could happen in our world today. Don't miss this 4th novel in the Zeb Carter series.

There really is only one reaction to this book, and that is ... WOW.
Ty Patterson always manages to come up with original story lines, and this is no exception, a series of terror attacks around the world, which seem to be unconnected, or are they?
Zeb Carter is a brilliant character, and with each book we learn a little bit more about him and he is genuinely becoming a fully fleshed character, with lots of strengths and abilities, but also some very human weaknesses, but it is the way that he overcomes these weaknesses that make him so believable. The other characters in Zeb's team are also really well written, even the computer has a quirky personality.
Once again the story is full of twists and turns and of course there are lots of the fantastic action sequences that are the real trademark of this author's work.
It was truly difficult to not read this book in one sitting although exhaustion and normal daily life did however get in the way, so I actually read it over 3 sessions.
For me this is the best book in the Zeb Carter series, and probably the best that the author has written.
I am privileged to be on the author's advance reader team, so I did get a complimentary copy of the book, but this honest review was voluntarily written.

Terror by Ty Patterson
As with all other books by this author, I approach this one with glee. And, I loved it. The storyline was tight and interesting. The characters were well developed and I was able to engage with them in a way that made reading the book a joy
I was a little disappointed, no that's too strong a word - not quite sure; How can I say it? I expected that I would be more frightened, more scared of the consequences. Although I was completely immersed in the story the terror didn't grab me as much as I would have expected.
There was also one instance where the passive voice was used that I felt needed to be more active. I had to read the line several times to understand what was being conveyed.
But that being said it was an amazing book and I stayed up late at night, later than I should have, reading it. Thank you very much.

Zeb Carter is the hero everyone wants to have on their side! He is the great equalizer who is always helping those in need. "Terror" is quite possibly the best book Ty Patterson has written so far. Terrorism takes on a whole new meaning in this novel when the terrorists are completely random people with no criminal records, attacking random targets all over the world.
Zeb and his team travel the globe attempting to get ahead of the attacks. They collaborate with allies from other countries and the U.S. military, using some unusual technology to put an end to the chaos.
There is never a dull moment in this action-packed adventure that is sure to grab your attention until the very end. Gripping and well written, this is one you won't want to miss! Part of an excellent series, this book is also a superb stand-alone.

Once again Ty Patterson delivers a non-stop action thriller. The plot contains situations that could definitely occur in our current political climate. You will not be able to put this book down. Those 400 pages fly by and you're immediately left wanting the next book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait for the next Zeb Carter adventure!
