Jarrett tells the story of how a small group of people from the intelligence community created the greatest political delusion in American political history. Jarrett drops names and includes significantly much more information than he did in his previous book The Russia Hoax. The second chapter is really telling on how hard the FBI and CIA tried to gather intelligence on President Trump when no crime was committed. Solid read and I liked the addition of the timeline at the end.

Jarrett is masterful. And he has the background and has existed in these very spaces himself with experience to report the facts and the sequences. With all the players, and there ARE names you have seldom heard besides the ones you have heard for 3 plus years. And they are not "the alternative facts" either. But documented facts of time periods and cause/effect conversations to actions.
It's wordy as a law case following court notation or testimony. More so. It's not to be read lightly, as the Dark State exists with very real long term repercussions. And this DOJ has been active as a kind of 4th division of government for more than the last 15 years. Many of the entire context emails, conversations re court cases, etc. are duplicated word for word. Not in Gregg Jarrett's slant to interpreting them. Or creating parodies, as Schiff does. The originals verbatim.
In this forum I am not brave enough to state what I truly think of this record and detail or to some of the reviews for books in this genre that they've never read. Also because the media and the know betters (here too in vast numbers) are willing to believe any tale of witches or patsies or memes that they hear enough times as long as it gets rid of that loathed Trump. And most truly do not care for the structured laws in treatments either or want to know which are broken. Some routinely now and on repeats. There has been so much evidence of this coup against the peoples' choices since BEFORE 2016, but especially in the 2016 election that this should be required reading in high schools. As should the entity structure of the USA government itself- its 3 branches and the true study of the Constitutional fall outs of that structure.
Hatred and loathing is not just for Trump but for all the people who voted for him too. Never forget it for a moment, all of you readers who peruse this review. But the Democrats most surely have forgotten it. As if the populace hasn't noticed. And within their current habits too. Electioneering candidates or in directions of purposes- they have expressed their disgust and hatred of the voting populace.
This book lists all the characters at the end of the copy. The liars and conflating habits exactly listed in time sequences, as well. It was started way before the 2016 election with the cover up of federal crimes and statute violations by Hillary Clinton. Most of which were certainly enabled and understood as occurring by Barrack Obama.
It still continues. It's just on another page now. Huddled into a secret enclave skiff room- and with all cabal talk kept from the American public.

This book is a farce. Written, using alternative facts, makes it fiction, but mostly delusional. Trump does most everything in plain sight, but has much to hide, which will all come out in the end. Gregg Jarrett, and those of his ilk will, no doubt, continue to believe it's all been a "witch hunt" regardless of hard facts. It's not over yet...

I voted in my first election in 1992 and every election since. Not once, ever, anywhere, anytime, have I voted for a Republican. Not for POTUS, not for congress, not for local dog catcher, not for a damned thing. But you can bet I will be voting for Trump in 2020. Why? Because I finally realized recently the extent to which I had been misled by the Democrats for all these years.
And when they stood up and raised their hands before the American people and proved to me they care more for illegal aliens than they do for me and my family, and when they care more about subjective feelings than objective facts, and when they continually conflate the two, they have absolutely and irrevocably lost my support. And heck, truth be told, the GOP of today is the Democratic Party of 10 years ago. The Democratic Party I knew and loved no longer exists. The party of JFK, RFK, Jefferson and Roosevelt etc. is dead.
What's more and worse than any of that is the level of outright intellectual dishonesty they've stooped to. Consider how they went on telling us Mueller was going to bring Trump down for conspiring with a foreign entity to win the election. They blathered on for years about that and kept the nonsense going long after that absolute pitiful testimony Mueller delivered. And I guess that's because they don't know what they hear or only hear what they want. That's the most charitable explanation I have for it. But even after that absolute SHIT SHOW, (I don't what else you'd call it) where Mueller explicitly said in no uncertain terms that he never determined Trump was guilty, they still kept it going; and on and on and on it went, until even the most committed and deluded among them couldn't keep up the charade any longer. And what happened? Their whopper died with a whimper, simply because it was not so.
And, of course, the irony is exactly what this book is all about: It was Hillary Clinton who paid a foreign spy to dig up a bunch of Russian disinformation in the hopes of winning the 2016 election. Only the unthinkable happened: she lost. But they had already used that nonsense to defraud a FISA court into issuing a warrant that led to this whole thing! Read the book. Read the details about how it all went down. Have the courage to do that. Cause I'm telling you, what occurred really should scare the hell out of all Americans. And then Trump came into office, and the Democrats had to scramble, and they ended up committing all manner of underhanded deeds and illegal acts to try to keep Trump off their trail. Well, it's all coming out now, and we're going to be talking about it for a while. So hold on to your hats, Democrats. This party is just getting started.
And yet before you could even say "lock her up" they were already off to their next faux investigation. That they could even expect for a second that the American people would believe them at this point and just forget about the whole last few years, as if they're so just innocent and doing all of this out of the goodness of their black hearts, really says all you need to know about both their sanity and what they think about the mindset of the average American voter. It's shameful.
We all know, and I know for certain, as I was a Democrat myself and hated Trump as much as anyone then, that we were dreaming about impeaching Trump before he ever even took office. So don't even waste your breath for a nanosecond trying to convince me this whole thing isn't completely dishonest and disingenuous from the word go. I know better than that.
Where I went wrong is I believed the nonsense I was reading from the New York Times and CNN and NBC and their ilk. But thankfully for me, the Left got so damned squirrelly, and they went so far out there, even I couldn't believe it anymore. Me! The guy who's never in his life voted for a Republican for anything, anywhere, anytime. Even *I* couldn't go along with their nonsense anymore. Well, you can be damned sure I won't be supporting any Democrats anytime soon, and will be voting for a Republican this time around. Hell, if I could I would apologize to Trump, as I had no idea the media was so damned dishonest. But he tried to warn me. He tried to warn us all. And I'm trying to warn you all now. So please wake the heck up, people. You can start by reading this book.

This book is a must read. I am not surprised at all by the facts that are revealed in the book. A lot more I want to write, but don't feel like getting backlash from trolls. Thank's Gregg for writing this book. Keep On Reading! :)

I now have a CLEAR UNDERSTANDING as to what REALLY happened! This is not so much a political narrative but a fact based narrative by one of the country's leading constitutional scholars. Mr. Jarrett states only factual and not subjective view. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

After reading the Russia Hoax, I had to read Witch Hunt. I pre-ordered it and waited impatiently through all the publishing delays. It was worth the wait. When our children are taught about this attempted coup the teacher will do well to use this book as the primer of the course.
The story continues to unfold and we can see it in real time if we bypass the corrupt mainstream media and look to alternate news sources (RT, Fox and the Rebel). I eagerly await the third installment of this chronicle to discover the details of the new Democrats full frontal attack on President Donald Trump and the results of the real criminal investigation.
The impeachment star chamber continues in the effort to destroy American democracy. Schiff’s first attempt using the “Russian Collusion” nonsense is exposed here.
Witch Hunt explains all the details of a very complex plot in easy to follow pieces. As a Canadian I find it difficult to understand the power structure of the American system. But after reading this book I now have a clear picture of how the system works normally and how the corruption impacted the Trump presidency. Greg Jarrett has explained the cast of characters, the plot, and the legal transgressions from a lawyer point of view. He has done it in a way that is easy for a jury to grasp. The reader will convict the plotters and their agents.
With this information exposed I can see why the uncontaminated parts of the DOJ have opened their criminal probe. They followed the same breadcrumbs that Gregg Jarrett laid out and they came to the same conclusions. The Mueller gang are now “lawyering up” but with the clear case laid down here we can have faith that justice will prevail.

I tried. Really I tried to find something that I could like about this book. I preferred the presentation from every other book on the same topic. Great concept, but not presented well in audiobook format. There are lessons I have learned (not in this book, but I see them validated): 1 if the facts are on your side; argue the facts. 2 If the law is on your side; argue the law. 3 If neither of those are on your side then attack the person. 4 When in doubt, fix blame quickly.

Talk about dumbed down. I didn't make it though the 1st chapter. It sounded like it had been written by writers for the Sean Hannity show. Talk about propaganda, this sounds more like something coming out of PRNK or China. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your money or your time on this.

This is a well researched and detailed book that sheds light on the shenanigans of the Trump Haters on the left and on the right. It's appalling to me that given this president's track record on economy, rights, security, and all other things that the haters would not give him a break. I did not like Obama, at all but there were few things I gave him credit for. The bias against this POTUS, ironically by a group that spends their entire existence pointing out biases on others from implied racism to micro aggression and everything in between is shocking. Literally today I read an article that said the Michelle Obama has tweeted a picture of her family for Thanksgiving. Really? No positive reports on anything about the current FLOTUS but the Obama story gets legs, all for sending a Tweet?
Back to the book. You will gain great detailed information about timelines and the reason the political left is gunning for Trump in such a way expended all of their political capital on failed attempt after failed attempt after failed attempt. There was collusion, conspiracy, obstruction, bribery, sex, lies, and the rest however it was the Democrats that ironically are the guilty ones.
I am always shocked how people still today would say that they would want Hillary instead of Trump. Knowing that Trump has not been found guilty of anything as of yet and that Hillary has been proven to be a snake on so many levels, that they would still want her. It's OK to have an inept , fake, lie to your face, career politician which has been embroiled in scandal after scandal after scandal since the beginning of her adult life as POTUS? I'm a libertarian and I had to admit we had weak candidates in 2016. Why is it so hard for the Dems to admit Hillary was the wrong candidate? Why is it so hard for the left to see the hypocrisy? Just take the position about accepting the results question asked in the debate. Clinton was appalled that Trump would not accept what she thought was a sure thing. Yet here she is 3 years later still not accepting the results and not being called to the mat on it.
Anyone that has done even cursory research on this subject will know that the anti-Trump movement is real and is strong and it is really unfair. I am struggling with being happy or sad that the Dems have changed the rules of engagement forevermore. On one side, I am sad that this president has had this happen to him and that the founding father's Gran Plan has been perverted and distorted in such a way. However, I then feel I should rejoice because the next Democratic POTUS that comes in will have to be a saint because the ROE have changed and impeachment, special councils, investigation and the like would be SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) now. Of course that is assuming that the media, you know the ones that spike stories about Harvey Winstein a full-on rapist, Polansky (child predator) and Jeff Epstein, another scumbag extraordinaire, and Matt Lauer, would not carry water for them as they did for Obama. During Obama's presidency, the MSM did puff pieces.
I truly hope the IG report comes out and we are able to prosecute those that acted this way against the country. Democrats and Republicans will fall and I am fine with that. I am also fine with Trump being impeached for an "impeachable offense"; this Ukraine call is not one though.
It is indeed a great book, heavily researched and written by an attorney that understands laws and has been in the "political game" for some time. Read it so you at least have the facts and not the spin. Make your own decisions and form your own opinions AFTER. The MSM is lying to us and "reporting" fallacies and opinions and not facts. It's a war on your minds. Don't let the enemy in. Fight the BS and form your opinions. If you still feel Trump is bad, so be it. If you at least walk away saying I still hate a Trump but he has been wronged here or there, that is fine too. But we have seen the media wrong so many times on so many levels from the exit polls to the impeachment, why would you believe ANYTHING they say?

Anyone that has done even cursory research on this subject will know that the anti-Trump movement is real and is strong and it is really unfair. I am struggling with being happy or sad that the Dems have changed the rules of engagement forevermore. On one side, I am sad that this president has had this happen to him and that the founding father's Gran Plan has been perverted and distorted in such a way. However, I then feel I should rejoice because the next Democratic POTUS that comes in will have to be a saint because the ROE have changed and impeachment, special councils, investigation and the like would be SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) now. Of course that is assuming that the media, you know the ones that spike stories about Harvey Winstein a full-on rapist, Polansky (child predator) and Jeff Epstein, another scumbag extraordinaire, and Matt Lauer, would not carry water for them as they did for Obama. During Obama's presidency, the MSM did puff pieces.
I truly hope the IG report comes out and we are able to prosecute those that acted this way against the country. Democrats and Republicans will fall and I am fine with that. I am also fine with Trump being impeached for an "impeachable offense"; this Ukraine call is not one though.
It is indeed a great book, heavily researched and written by an attorney that understands laws and has been in the "political game" for some time. Read it so you at least have the facts and not the spin. Make your own decisions and form your own opinions AFTER. The MSM is lying to us and "reporting" fallacies and opinions and not facts. It's a war on your minds. Don't let the enemy in. Fight the BS and form your opinions. If you still feel Trump is bad, so be it. If you at least walk away saying I still hate a Trump but he has been wronged here or there, that is fine too. But we have seen the media wrong so many times on so many levels from the exit polls to the impeachment, why would you believe ANYTHING they say?

Stunning! Sadly, most of this would have been unnecessary had a "fair" press been even mildly on the ball throughout these last three and a half years. Today I read a reasoned argument that, under some reasonable conditions related to the current Democrat crop, this election cycle could see the US transitioning to a three-party nation soon, and the Deep State minions will have themselves to blame - but then they will find a new way to burrow further into the power structure. Jarrett's narrative, for the most part, was laid out in the Epoch Times over a year and half ago. We have watched the Mueller report and impeachment implode, and should stay attuned to what will almost certainly be further impeachment efforts; unless the fall elections turn out a few of the more dingy characters in this disgusting play.

Gregg Jarrett picks up where he left off form 'The Russia Hoax'. Armed with new information this book is loaded with facts that even avid followers of this event will be amazed to read.For instance, I learned that the very day that James Comey stood before the cameras to tell the nation that Hillary Clinton was only guilty of a minor infraction and not gross negligence, so she could continue to run for the Presidency, that across the ocean a meeting was being held to begin the distribution of the 'Dirty Dossier' that would haunt the Trump Presidency until this day. Coincidence? You be the judge. Even though Robert Mueller's team knew in 2016 that this dossier was phony information bought and paid for by the DNC they continued to lie and leak falsehoods which were fed to the liberal media who detested Trump and, thereby, created a fantasy that anti-Trump forces would salivate over for the next three years. If you have ever wondered why Carter Page was so central to this debacle, Jarrett fully explains. Page was a private citizen who the FBI spied on because of some vague association to Trump in order to give the dossier credibility. Spying on Carter Page opened a back door into Trump campaign electronic communications and documents were opened. Page was recently declared to be completely innocent of any of the offenses he was accused of and will likely get a huge payday from the government because they virtually ruined his life. Jarrett delves deeply into James Comey who many are starting to see as one of the true villains in this story. In his book Comey states, "I don't do sneaky things, I don't leak, I don't do weasel moves". Recent information that has come to light and Jarrett's book put that claim to rest and show that Comey did all of those things and more. Jarrett lays out how the Mueller Report was totally biased and spells it out by citing numerous examples. There was no evidence to find Trump guilty but the report was written as if it grudgingly found him somewhat innocent. The part the media played in this 'Witch Hunt' is thoroughly covered and, not surprisingly, the MSM was so thrilled with their false reporting that they shared a Pulitzer Prize between the NYT and Wapo over their excellent coverage of this fake document. You will also learn how the FBI altered evidence regarding a 302 document regarding Michael Flynn which was recently discovered by his attorney, Sydney Powell. Because of Powell's findings the wheels of justice are turning the other way and Flynn my soon be exonerated. So many people wanted to believe the contents of this dossier because of their hatred for Trump and they cheered the sordid tales as Trump supporters laughed at the absurdity. Even today, many of the liberal media will not admit that it was false regardless of the evidence to the contrary. Now, we await the Durham Report and hope that those who perpetrated this hoax will be held accountable and no other President will have to endure the likes of this again. Highly recommend this book. Jarrett has numerous pages of notes and citations to back him up.

This book ties them all together along the timeline given. Highlights of the lies told and the basis of the narrative of blatant falsehoods. This is a MUST READ BOOK!

Excellent step-by-step explanation of the democratic attack upon the presidency of the US. Names, legal statutes, dates, falsehoods, intimidation, and corruption centered mostly in the FBI, the DOJ and national intelligence agencies are all documented. It is shuttering to read about the level of distortion of the constitution and the protection it provides in our democracy, all for the purpose of gaining power. This is not something most people think would ever happen in America but it has and it continues. Attempts to overthrow a sitting elected ruler from within is usually done through the ballot box in America, but those perpetrators of this coup have lost confidence in the voter's ability to make wise choices and have schemed plans to undermine the president and undue the results of the 2016 presidential election. Unfortunately, while not guilty as accused, the president has is own issues that seem to foment and encourage such rebellious, hostile, and at times illegal disruption to the normal flow of governance in the US. This book will certainly help the reader understand all that is being talked about by our national news agencies on both sides of the aisle.

This book should be made into a documentary. The author does what most in the media would not do. Investigate the claims of the "Russia Collusion" story. This being his 2nd book on the matter.
I was literally dumbfounded by the majority of the American media who would merely repeat talking points fed to them (like Soviet run media) for 3 years rather than investigate or verify claims presented to them. All the tools were there to do so, easy to use and find, but the media completely ignored them.
The fact is the only collusion that took place was between the democrats (starting with Hillary Clinton), the KGB...I mean FBI, and willing media cohorts more interested in a narrative than actual facts. When the dust settled the facts caught up with what most Americans already knew. There was no Russian Collusion, only an attempted soft coup of a freely and fairly elected POTUS. We should all be alarmed and on guard because something has gone horribly wrong. We have a media willing to compromise their own journalist ethics because they dislike the POTUS. We also have a political party and deep state who doesn't think twice about compromising American principles moving forward with a "ends justify the means" mentality.
Dislike the author, trash the books content, but it is well referenced, and really folks "facts don't care about your feelings." You may think "orange man bad" but one would be hard pressed to HONESTLY disagree with the contents of this book. I guess I'm further bothered by the left so willing to ignore facts in favor of a narrative that doesn't match truth. I've never seen such groupthink or willingness to fall on intellectual swords.

Jarrett says Jeff Sessions should never have recused himself from the Mueller investigation, that neither the law nor the facts required him to do so. It was an investigation at that point and not a criminal case. The reason he took office without recusing himself is because he didn’t know at that point that he was a subject in the investigation. He took office not knowing all the facts, and didn’t find out until weeks later that he was both a subject and a witness. Trump wanted him to take charge of the inquiry by shutting it down. What if doing so would have been interpreted by the Dems as obstruction of justice, thereby making Trump look guiltier? Sessions also claims that he offered several times to step down and Trump asked him to stay. Trump did not initially accept his resignation. Finally, Sessions says he did not beg Trump four times to be elected AG. I believe him. This goes against Trump’s claim that he did. Opponent Tommy Tuberville is using this to say that Sessions is calling Trump a liar. Sessions says he acted on principal and it would have made things worse if he had stayed. Could Sessions have actually successfully shut down the probe/investigation? We will never know. But villainizing Sessions for his actions is too harsh. He is one of the few who did what he thought was right, and I applaud him for that. I understand Trump’s opinion of Sessions’ betrayal but Sessions acted according to the law and not loyalty to Trump. Tough spot to be in.
That said, thanks to Greg Jarrett for amazing research, fact-checking, and truth-telling. I now see how relentless and vicious the deep state is and am reminded of the Bible verse describing Satan as a prowling lion seeking whom he may devour. The number of lives ruined by this pervasive evil is staggering.

Very insightful
Being skeptical of conspiracy stories and their many questionable defenses, I was resistant to reading Witch Hunt. Although a Trump supporter, I was also trying to stay removed from the pro-Trump dialogue because of the seeming cult-like obsessiveness that characterized much of the discussion in my small circle. However, Jarret’s book was refreshingly well researched, and citations provided the credibility I needed to stay engaged. When those involved in the “Witch Hunt” (the media being equally complicit) are able to exercise such a degree of bias, freedom of fantasy and disregard for ethics - in the light of day - it’s a sad day for our country, and an indictment of those of us who sit idly by as if watching another episode of our favorite soap opera moving seamlessly to the next drama. I had to read this because of the current impeachment process against the president. Jarrett does a remarkable job of documenting his work and gives a very detailed timeline of the occurrances of Special Council Mueller's investigation of the possible collusion with Russia of the Trump campaign. Jarrett articulates that this entire process was a hoax and a deliberate attempt by the Democrats and "the Deep State" government to destroy President Trump. Stepping back and looking at what has happened and watching the Impeachment inquiry on television, has let me to concur on many of the author's points. I was expecting this kind of documentation and detail during the hearing. Not a chance. Furthermore, the Inspector General's report on the application for the FSA warrant which was basis for much of the investigation validates this. They used a falsified dossier by a foreign operative, paid for the the democrat operatives as the basis for getting the warrant to conduct surveillance of members of Trump's team. The IG sees no bias. However, does not using it constitute bias in the first place? Also, contents of the report were reported by the news media weeks before its release. Who leaked it to the media? Is the Inspector General also corrupted by deep stateers?
