Hmmm
Ok so I'm a bit torn and confused here. While Tru knew that Sebastian was cheating she stayed with him. Now that she is with Chance he gets a hard way to go anytime something comes up. Why is he paying for Sebastian actions when she overlooked them while she was still with Bash. That makes no sense. These Wu sisters are a super hot mess. I don't understand how Pharoah rhought what he qas doing with Cam was cool. That's just why it bit him in the behind. He knew he was wrong from the door thats whynhe hid it from Rozé until he didn't have a choice but to be honest. Bet he won't do that again. It would have been nice to see what happened between Chance and Trù after she woke up in the hospital skipping over that felt all kinds of wrong. Especially after the big fight they had. Like are they together together or just co-parenting. All we know is she woke up asking for him and that he was out of town when it was time for her appointment. Where is the closure? I mean I enjoyed the storyline beginning with the 1st book but this one didn't deliver like it should have.

Second chances are sometimes worth it
In this wonderful standalone, it shows how a second chance is all one really need. There were so much drama going on that revolves around obsessions, deceits, and greed! This is my first read by this author and looks forward to more of her work.

Engaging
The story line was very engaging. Tru was my favorite girl and I rooted for her and Chance. Love was my least favorite but I grew to like her. Bash was truly obsessed with the twins. Kevin was a mess and Bianca is blessed to get away. Roze and Pharaoh were my favorite couple although he irked me getting close to Cam and her daughter. Great read!
