I've been punch needling for a little over a year and this book has given me so much inspiration! It's in an easy to read and understand format, the pictures are lovely, and the projects sound like so much fun to make! Some of the tips she shares are really interesting too. I would have never thought to super glue my cloth to an embroidery hoop--what I made my first project on. I learned firsthand how frustrating it is to constantly pull the cloth back into place!
I can't wait to make some of these projects my own! Thank you Stacie!
I just started punch needling within the last few weeks, and was super excited to find this at my local library! This book was not only extremely helpful with tips and tricks, but it gave me so much inspiration for my next upcoming projects. The book was easy to follow, and laid out extremely well (I appreciated the pictures to visually explain what was happening). This has gotten me even more excited to get into this craft and I can’t wait to see how I use these techniques and methods in my future projects!
I'm still not sure if I'm a fan of punch needle for much more than rugs or throw pillows. I'm definitely a hard pass on lamp shades. To me it looks like a random scrap of carpet glued to a lamp shade. And I feel like it would collect a lot of dust.
