What did I like? A lover of the western genre this was one of the most enjoyable ways that I could spend my birthday late into the night reading a great western themed book. This is the second book that I have read from this author but it certainly will not be the last. I love the writing style and the details that the author has taken the time to include.
What will you like? A well written, very developed and interesting book that will hold your attention until the last page turns. Unique and interesting characters with descriptions that will make you feel like you are standing right next to them. The research and information take you from your chair right into the wild west and on this journey with Blackjack Brannigan having revenge in his heart. Some mature language. The west alive again, just pick up any L J Martin book.

let's go until BranniganMr. Martin does an exceptionally outstanding descriptiveness with Brannigan and his crew, both good guys and bad.This story consists of never ending detailed encounters facing Brannigan and his ongoing excursions that goes above and beyond in exciting gunfights. Great presentation of western adventures and accomplishments!
Definitely worthy of the five stars I awarded this old American western folklore revelation that certainly has enough suspenseful episodes to challenge Alfred Hitchcock and his many exciting revelations of evil! Mr.MArtin does an outstanding portrayal of his characters, as they continuously fulfilled their assigned roles without hesitation. Too, his storylines successfully grabs the reader's attention immediately and never lets go until the final paragraph.
There are many heartwarming episodes throughout this compelling rendition of realistic western adventures, and the general camaraderie of Texas good guys is very fulfilling and most of the storylines are very descriptive but still family-friendly events. Romantic relationships certainly touches your heartstrings, especially toward the final showdown between Brannigan and the bad guys. Most definitely worthy of several more Brannigan stories of his many exciting endeavors!
Most definitely recommend this compassionate story to all readers, but especially to my western cohorts, who loves one exciting adventure after the other. Too, you non-western readers will, most assuredly find these outstanding adventures worthy of your reading times! Try this exciting masterpiece, and you may even switch your reading preference!!!!😂

An LJM. Western Action Adventure (BB) (TMS)
LJM. has penned a western action adventure which begins with a western man escaping from prison. He was in prison for a crime he did not commit. He travels back to his home town and ribs the two men who framed him and the heads for Montana. He helps stop a stage coach and train robbery. The Governor of Montana daughter was at both places. He and the woman begin to work together to prove his innocence. This is an excellent read diverge genre.....DEHS

Living in the Old West is a rough life. It is difficult to develop a sense of justice when everything about your life is unjust. But Jack Brannigan has a plan to change things, and like all plans, surprises galore keep you almost prepared for the unexpected. The author keeps true to the rough and ready life of the cowboy and even adds some romance. The perfect novel for those who love westerns.

Good Tale
Heck of a good tale. Again Mr. Martin has told a storythat keeps your interest from the first words on. As a reader, I have to admit I'm jealous of those able to tell a story that connects with it's audience (for more than one chapter).

Jack was sent to prison even though he was innocent!
Jack spent seven years in prison before he can escape. He takes a friend along. He starts hunting the people who framed him. He has several twists and turns. There are several surprises, clear up to the end.

A must read story
Another excellent story with enough twists and turns to fill three novels. I love the way the author takes you to new destinations with exciting action and gives you enough background that you can feel like you're there. Great reading.
