If you’re a fan of crime families and over the top sexy bossy men who demand your attention and more this set of books will be just right for you. The women are all full of spirit and not wall flowers in any sense of the word. The first two books are about Vince and Adrianna. Adrianna is a college student who witnessed her father’s murder and now is trying to hold her mother together. The mother who is draining her dry both financially and emotionally. Vince is a mob member running poker games where he spots Adrianna who stepped in to deal for someone who didn’t show up. Turns out she’s a bit of a card shark. The attraction between Adrianna and Vince is explosive. Joe and Marisa the next couple are even hotter and more intense. Marisa’s father dies and he leaves her, rather than her brother Nathan as CEO of his casino. Unfortunately he’s in deep with the mob and Joe is sent to watch over her and keep her from doing anything stupid which turns out to be easier said than done. The last couple, Tommy and Melanie are even more intense then the first two couples. Marissa inherited her father’s bar but she has no fondness for the men her father has partnered with in order to keep his club afloat. Melanie decides to work with the FEDS giving them what information she has to indict the Vittorio family . While the FEDS try to protect her they are no match for Tommy who kidnaps her to get his own information from her. How he plans on getting her to talk is diabolical to say the least. This one was the darkest of the three stories and a definite page turner. Can these couples achieve their HEA under these intense circumstances? You’ll have to read the books yourself to find out. I am reviewing this from an ARC I received through Booksprout.

This is a set of books all of which are standalones in their own right. There are no cliffhangers and you'll get your HEA with each. The steam will rise from your Kindle as you read, but I still like a bit more "dark" to my story than I found in these. The stories were written well, but the pacing felt forced in some of the passages. I felt the balance of dialogue and narrative fell a little bit short and could have used more dialogue in some spots. I don't know what other readers look for in "Mafia Romance", but it doesn't matter to me if there is gratuitous violence, in fact, it doesn't matter if there's violence at all. Violence does not equal Dark. Dark is in the mind, not a gun, or knife, or actions. If the violence were removed? Would the book still be termed "dark"? I'm not so sure. A book is enjoyable to me if it calls itself dark, goes there and stays there.

Overall the set was a good read, and I would probably read Vanessa Waltz again.

ONE INCREDIBLE RIDE!!!
OMG! Man, talk about getting lost in the pages. A whirlwind of emotions and events that feed from the excitement and nerve racking tension that brings this amazing series blazing to life brilliantly. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches and bumps here and there pull you deeper into these raging storylines and hard hitting plots. Throw in all the drama, intrigue, uncertainty and suspense and you have one intense, page turning bombshell that grabs your attention and holds it from start to finish. The characters are authentic, believable and so realistic it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphically detailed it really pulls this little jewel together beautifully. You have no trouble picturing each scenario as it plays out perfectly. Remarkable job Vanessa, thanks for sharing this awesome series with us.

For great mafia books together, what's not to like. The first two stories are about Adriana and Vinny. I have to admit, I don't liked her very much. She was kind of naive or something like it. It was obvious, that he was in the mafia and everyone who watched the godfather know what's going on. She was a fickel, I love you, no I want out you are to brutal. All in all she was not really likable for me. I would have wished for a tougher girl, who could protect herself. Also I am not into the BDSM stuff. The first book is from her perspective. The second book started were the first book closed, but from Vincent perspective. From there it variable, his and her point of view. Thats my favorite kind of story telling. The third book was great with Marissa and Joe, the story was gripping. All though the books, you saw some beloved characters, that I liked too. All in all a good read.

If you are in the mood for something dark, violent, raw and gritty, this well written romance set is for you.
The stories revolve around the Vittorio Family and pushes the reader into a world filled with misplaced family loyalty, raw violence, corruption and power.
The main alphas in the stories, Vince, Joe, and Tommy are broken, hardened, tormented men who know nothing outside of the twisted mafia world of vendettas, family loyalty, power and death.
Although each of these dangerous, volatile men finally fall for women that ultimately change their lives, this is not a sweet and mushy kind of love.
Raw and sometimes brutal, the scenes are not for the faint of heart. There were some turn off moments for me, but this was always filled with intense passion.
I hate cliffys so this Boxed Set was ideal for me and complete!

This series by Vanessa Waltz is truly wonderful. High Stakes, Double Blind, End Game and His Witness are terrific stories. Each of them are well written with great depth to each character. Each book was dark and filled with incredible emotions and details that make these books come to life when you’re reading them. There is romance, action, drama and suspense. I couldn't put this series down. It kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last sentence. Vince and Adriana, Joe and Marisa, and Tommy and Melanie are strong characters who are intelligent, street smart and fighters to the end. They will do anything to protect the women they love. Each of these couples have incredible chemistry that was off the charts sexy. I really enjoyed these stories. Thank you Vanessa Waltz for such exciting stories that totally blew me away. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Vanessa Waltz is that author for me that any book released under her name I have to read. I have absolutely loved every book written by her. Especially this collection of books. I have read the first story before, the first half of Adrianna and Vince’s story but I had never read the second half or the other two stories in this collection. I have to admit that I stopped reading for a little while a few chapters into the second story because of Adrianna’s choices. However, keep reading it gets better and is worth it. I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters and I love when a character from a previous book has an important part in another book, which happens with these stories. I highly recommend reading this collection of stories!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE mafia romance, and Wicked Heroes is all of that goodness in a box set. Vanessa Waltz is a new to me author, and I really enjoyed her addictive writing style. The first two books are about Vince and Adriana, and their story is quite explosive with all the heat they're generating is great. I will say she got on my nerves a bit with some of her back & forth, but she's human not to mention a college student with a lot of things going on. Joe & Marisa are fantastic as well with all of their explosiveness. He's sent to keep an eye on her but things don't reall go as planned. Tommy & Melanie are every bit as explosive as the other couples and maybe even more so since he kidnapped her. There's a ton of goodness in Wicked Heroes, and I'll be reading it again & again since it's totally worth revisiting. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is one of the best collection of Mafia stories I have read. Each story connected to the previous one, with lovers and friends and dangerous enemies. In each story a man deep within the mafia family becomes addicted to a woman that he must have for his own, a woman he takes and refuses to give up, not even when he risks everything for her. The woman may hate the things they do, but their love and attraction to these made men is so strong that only death will part them. These stories kept me interested till the very end and I loved every page.

Absolutely fantastic! A compelling box set of amazing, enjoyable, exciting, action packed, and gritty romances. The storylines are well thought out, emotionally deep, well written, witty, funny, and relatable. The plots are well-developed, consistent, interesting, and engaging. They are an on the edge of your seat captivating, heart-wrenching read that is full of steamy sex, nail-biting suspense, and twists and turns. Each book is unique with characters that are likeable and strong. The chemistry between them is intense and off the charts. The stories will hold your interest from beginning to end. This is a four book series packed into one offering. This is a mafia romance with the dark and dangerous side. The men are all Alpha and part of a crime family. All are torn between being loyal to their mafia family and protecting their new love interests. The books are all overflowing with action, twist, suspense and hot romance. The stories are creative and action-packed. They draw the reader in immediately and keep them interested until the last page. The characters are interesting , well-written, and believable. To say the series is a page turner is putting it mildly. It would be a challenge for any reader to put these books down. Thank you Ms. Waltz for a great read and I look forward to more of your books. Loving her

Monsters were all over her club. What had her father done? Melanie have up her dreams to help her family but this can't continue. Then all fails. They get raided and everyone is in trouble. She sings like a bird in everyone except Tommy. Even though she hates them all for some reason she can't against him. He's the only one who puts up with her and helps her. But her life goes up side down Shenzhen gets kidnapped. She spends time with him and he does so much to her to break her. But she ends up heartache to him and he has a soft stop for her also. They go through a lot after but it all ends well. The other stories are about Vince and his wife, Joe and his wife. All men who had a different woman every time. Love Vanessa's stories and can't wait for more.

Welcome to the brutally dark world of the of the mafia crime Vittorio family. This box set follows Vince and Adrianna through some serious dramatic times in the the first two books. Joe and Marisa in the third and Tommy, oh Tommy, in His witness. I thought Vince was deep and dark but Tommy was way more intense. It is the complete box set of four full length novels so no waiting on the next one to come out. I absolutely loved the Cravotta Family series and now you fully get the connection between the two family's. Don't worry these do come with a HEA and plenty of hot steamy scenes. Its very well written and tons of action. A must read for sure!!

If you're looking for a dark, twisted, set you on the edge of your seat suspense and heat Mafia series than look no further!
The Vittorio Family has got you covered!
Vince, Joe, and Tommy have more than enough, raw, violent, misplaced loyalties and heartbreak to heart mending times for you to wrap yourself in!
Not many lovey-dovey moments here- there where many times I wanted to tell a character off ( especially Tommy ESH)
But regardless of my varied emotions towards the characters, and their individual stories- I was hooked!

This series is a gritty & emotional rollercoaster. When a story can drag you in, make you want to strangle the characters, laugh your a$$ off then cry like a baby, you know the story is great. I experienced all the emotions, got so caught up in the story, I neglected everything else. I will say that the series needs to be edited again & proofread as well, there was quite a few “bloopers” that need to be fixed, but I was still able to continue on with the story. I look forward to read more from this author.

There are 4 books in this series, and they are all dark romance, which means you won’t find much of the rose-tinted glasses swept of my feet with tenderness in these. There is a lot of action, adventure, passion and steam in these books. The two main characters in each book do have chemistry and a lot of it but that only serves to lead the female in to the dark dangerous world of the men and the family they are connected with. Lots of page fast page turning to find out what is going to happen next with this series.

I have to state right up front, I am an avid fan of this author. That being said, this box set is mind blowing. I was so engrossed within the pages that I didn't sleep for a few nights. I'd pick it up after everyone else went to bed and the next thing I knew, the night was over and everyone was getting up for the day... Ooops. The books are so good you're going to find the same thing happens to you. The story's are so good and the characters seem so realistic they'll quickly become your favorite new addictions as well.

Short review. I normally don't read Mafia type books but found the premise interesting enough to give it a shot. There's plenty of violence and sex throughout the series, there were more then a few disturbing parts throughout the series that had me questioning why I was continuing reading them. But I was glad that at least I tried to see whether or not Mafia books would be something I would want to continue to dive into, in the end I realize I don't like these types of books and would most likely never read them again.

I really enjoyed this book. It features 4 stories, the first 2 are the same couple, the others are different couples.

First story was longer than I was expecting, but I was glad of it because it was brilliant. A little peeve of my own - there are several missing words within sentences throughout the first story and one of the minor characters name was spelt differently towards the end.

This is just my opinion though. Overall fantastic read and recommended.

If you are into dark erotic stories this is definitely for you!
I love love mafia stories as it’s so twisted and yet so amazing and these three books delivered on such a high level! Going through the motion from the very first book to the second and finishing the third book. I’m always at a loss for words and it felt as if I was there myself !! Kudos to Vanessa for creating such a vivid and sexy steamy mafia world <3

An unbelievable set of books that draw you into the mafia world and doesn't let go. Entertaining, suspenseful, intriguing, dramatic, scary, emotional, steamy and unbelievably addictive. At times hard to read, the lies and manipulations that abound in these pages clearly shows that power is addictive and corruption is rampant throughout. No one is safe in these stories. The women's actions are hard to understand yet it makes perfect sense in these stories. Well written and highly entertaining.

This is a brilliant collection of books about the Mafia that I have read in a while.
Each of the stories are connected, you will find friends, lovers, very dangerous enemies but also very strong and loving woman. They all find a partner that they cannot live without, that they will protect and that they will never give up for anyone. Did I love this collection – a resounding yes! Will I recommend them to anyone and everyone to read? Again a resounding yes! Thank you very much for allowing me to have hours of pleasure in reading them.

If typos and grammatical errors don't distract you, this is a good series and over a thousand pages long! I've read later books by Ms. Waltz and they are edited perfectly, so I'm chalking this up to early mistakes. I recently read read 3 other books of hers and they were a pleasure to read.
Ms. Waltz has great character development that is easy to follow, even with many characters. I discovered her recently, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her books. The ONLY reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the editing.

Loved the book, the storyline was outstanding it was very well written.. I loved the characters they really made me hot with a chance of pain, they really got hot and steamy, with bad attitude on the side mafia style. The four books were action packed never a dull moment. These books are a must read.

Not normally a fan of Mafia type stories but this one surprised me (in a good way!). A bit dark at times as our H's and h's had to overcome a lot before hitting their HEA's. If you are into Mafia stories, this is a must read. If you are not a fan, take a chance on this one anyways - you will be pleasantly surprised!!!

Crime? Check, murder? Check, a father who wants his son to take over the empire? Check.. If you are a fan of vanessa Waltz writing than you will definitely enjoy these books in a series. Each one is stand alone and can be read by themselves. The only problem I don’t enjoy about vanessa books is sometimes it seems they are lacking towards the ends.
