2.5 stelle! Trope: Second chance romance + sister bff.
Questo libro ha tutti i difetti che ho riscontrato anche in quello precedente, ma se li non mi hanno infastidito troppo, qui si. Tutta la narrazione si svolge molto velocemente, portandomi a non apprezzare del tutto la coppia o la loro storia.
A quick read. Eddie has a thing for his best friend's younger sister, and the feeling is mutual. They are both off limits. That is until one night in Vagas. They end up getting together in more ways than one - they go as far as to get married when drunk!
Next day regret sets in and they go to get an annulment. Story jumps forward several years, when Eddie has remarried, only to find annulment hadn't gone through!
Eddie and Jillian eventually head off to Vagas to get it all sorted out, only Eddie has different plans for them both.
Not quite sure how Terri does it - novella or full story she delivers every time!!! I was so happy this was Eddie and Jillian's story. They appeared in Married in Vegas, which you don't have to read to enjoy this one but don't miss it, it's great! This novella was a quick read that was just perfect. Great characters that you can't help but fall in love with and a great, sweet, sexy and even funny storyline! Second chance at it's best!!!
Eddie's been denying his feelings for Jillian for years. His best friend, her sister, made him agree to not date. The hook up in Vegas and end up married. He regrets it the next day and gets it annulled. Years later he is married, to a gold digger, and he finds out that his first marriage is still valid. Even though this was an enjoyable read I felt like it was rushed. Also kind of a repeat as to what happened in book one in this series. Literally the same thing happens to both sisters.
Jillian and Eddie’s story is one of the cutest second chance romances I have read. It develops like a whirlwind with some ups and downs, but never failed to entertain me and to make me giggle because of some really funny situations. It is heartfelt and heart-warming, sizzling hot and passionate, all at the same time.
This book was okay. I love a married-in-Vegas book, and this was a quick read. I think my biggest problem was that there felt like there were many plot holes. I felt like I was missing pieces of the story. The plot just didn't feel developed enough for me. I liked the characters, though. I have read quite a bit by this author, and I'm sure I will read more.
I’ve been waiting for this book since I read the first one in this series. It was a cute book but there was one question that I felt went unanswered and because the epilogue wasn’t more into the future that’s why I gave it 3 stars.
Enjoyed this book and gave 5 stars. Was a fast read and still I loved it Read it in one sitting left me with questions that will not be answered but I have a great imagination.
After reading Chris and Cam’s story in the first Married in Vegas story IN HIS ARMS, I was looking forward to Eddie and Jillian’s story and I was not disappointed. I am now looking forward to Wolf’s story.
Jillian has secretly loved Eddie for such a long time but he was her older sister’s best friend and out of her reach for so many reasons. Though one drunken night in Las Vegas changed their lives in ways they didn’t see coming, not even years later.
‘”I’m a man not to be played with, Jilly.”’
Sassy Jillian was a very loveable character and I would have liked to read more about her. Eddie though was unattainable; I just couldn’t get a read on him. Although the beginning of the story felt strangely rushed through in their blurry drunken state, I liked where the story headed afterwards. Due to the forbiddenness of the characters feelings for each other it was an up and down which added to the unfolding drama. I loved the story itself and though I love some good sex scenes I think I would have liked this story even more without that many in it.

I love little snippets of stories about characters I already know. We get a peek at what went on with Eddie and Jillian in Chris and Cam's book Married in Vegas. We knew they were once friends but then Eddie ditches Jillian in a hotel room and states "it's for her own good", REALLY??? Next thing years have passed and Eddie has gotten married. But there’s a problem and the only person who can help is the scorned girl he left behind in Vegas, Jillian.

A fun, quirky, fast paced read that was the perfect way to lazy away my afternoon.
The characters dynamics were perfect and as usual Terrie E Laine lead us on a hypnotic tale of love, betrayal and heartbreak. That also left me longing for more.
A fabulous addition to This multi author series! That leaves me looking forward to what the rest of the authors bring to the table.

Absolutely Mine by Terri Laine was a short, quick, sexy, fun read that I devoured. I LOVED Jillian and Eddie. I love friends to romance and I fell in love with this Vegas story. My only complaint is I wish this novella had been longer. It's sooooo good!
*I voluntarily read an advance copy. This is my honest review.*
I am a big fan of a friends to lovers romance. Jillian and Eddie have been friends for so long when feelings and circumstances change. A Vegas incident sometime ago yields some interesting results. Will true love finally happen for these two? Love these characters.
I started reading this one and boom I'm done but I'm wanting more of these two. This is part of the blackout anthology and it's a great addition to it.
I do hope we get more of the main characters later in a book of their own from terri because this is just a taste of what could happen.
If you like sweet story full of passion and love, this is just for you. If you've never believed in one love for whole life, this story will convince you the opposite. So Enjoy
An amazing 5 star quick read that had me reading it in one sitting. This is a novella with an HEA. There was never a dull moment. With was packed with hotness. I recommend this story
