CAN PETER AND GWEN FIND HAPPINESS IN THE 1970s? The GREEN GOBLIN is out of their lives, but NORMAN OSBORN isn’t! Can PETER AND GWEN find happiness as the world of the 1970s dances on around them?
Chip Zdarsky is a Canadian comic book artist and journalist. He was born Steve Murray but is known by his fan base as Chip Zdarsky, and occasionally Todd Diamond. He writes and illustrates an advice column called Extremely Bad Advice for the Canadian national newspaper National Post's The Ampersand, their pop culture section's online edition. He is also the creator of Prison Funnies and Monster Cops.
Another fascinating look into an alternate and more cohesive feeling marvel timeline with some of the strongest and most in character writing I have seen for this cast in a long time.
This issue was so good! Love the progression and intergration of everything. The realistic life plus the dark and gritty. Nicely done. I'm really enjoying this spider-man universe. It's also really cool to get a linear and fulfilling Spider-Man timeline and have it told properly and make sense.
+ Bonus points for this universe's version of Otto. I approve. ;)
Achei este um pouco menos empolgante do que o primeiro número.
Mas garante a diversão, especialmente para os fãs de longa data (e que não se incomodem com certas releituras de fatos importantes na trajetória do personagem).
[3.5] Once again, impressed and intrigued, does some effective stuff and some ineffective stuff (clones cough cough). I do like this is covering some of the biggest and most famous Spider-Man stories though.
A nice new take on Peter Parker as he grows realistically with time. We get a new spin on familiar characters in his life. Quite an interesting take. Then that ending!!!! Holy Crap!!!!
