Best of Intentions was an adorable book. It was one of those stories where it's so easy to fall in love with the characters that you don't even realize it's happening. There was no really big drama or a ton of angst involved, so I got to just enjoy Jenny and Nate. It was honestly the best book of my week and I couldn't have picked a better time to read it. This is the perfect book for when you need something light and sweet to perk you up after a stressful day.
My only complaint is that I wish Jenny's diabetes had been explained a little more. It wasn't a giant part of her character but it was mentioned a lot and I think there are parts that could possibly confuse anyone without prior knowledge about diabetes.
Because of the aforementioned stress, I'm keeping this review short since my brain can't focus on a lot of words right now, but the only important thing you need to know about this book is that it's brilliant and you'll enjoy it.

Best friend's sister is one of my favorite tropes because it usually includes more family involvement in the background, which I enjoy. Best of Intentions is an excellent example of this. The characters are fun and the family involvement rounds out the story and makes it easy to fall into and relate to. The inclusion of Tatum, a funny adorable four year old, was one of my favorite parts. She kept everyone on their toes and always made me laugh at her comments.
Best of Intentions did have a bit of a slow start for me, but once it quickly picked up and sucked me in. Even with the slow start, I look forward to reading more of LK Farlow's works and hopefully seeing more of Nate and Jenny.

Good Girl Stars
I wanted to know more about Nate, and get my hands on his story when he was first introduced in the book released previous to this one, “Best Laid Plans! I must have missed this one releasing tho. A hot, broody cop that was the best “funcle” around...yes please! He had me at the, “prescription pad apology note”...which was a highlight!
Loved the brief revisit with Tatum, as well. She was such a highlight in, BLP! Precocious kiddos are my jam, not just in real life, but books too! She was the cutest thing—her and her “easy dropping!“
Jenny was the sweetest! She had a heart of gold, but was sweet and sassy too! Nate made her weak in the knees and all stuttery...I get it! Once these two got it completely together, things moved fast!
Lasly, I wish I’d read these books in the order they were released, as they are all interrelated, but not listed as part of a “series.”

Oh my sweet stars! Best of Intentions is an incredible romance. Once again, LK Farlow shows off her brilliant talent by producing another stunning story. From the first page to the last, I was glued to these pages. This is definitely a must-read!
Jenny is such a sassy heroine. She’s vivacious and full of snark, but sensitive and genuine. And Nate. He’s the package deal. I fell for him hard and fast, not blaming Jenny one bit for her array of emotions. Together they make a perfect pair.

I would say this book was a pretty average read. Nothing outstanding or out of the ordinary until the very end when the notes and gifts came into the picture. Totally swoon-worthy at that point.
The romantic in me was all gooey at that point.
There are funny parts and sweet parts & sexy parts but until about 90% in I would say it was an average book with an average storyline. I liked it so don't take that as if it wasn't a decent book but just pretty normal.

Best Laid Plans is my first book by this author. I remember I like it a lot. So I picked up Best of Intentions hoping the same quality as previous book. But I am bit disappointed with Best of Intentions. Overall the story is sweet, cute, romantic. But the plot is very plain. So plain that there is almost no layer on it.
Jenny is likeable heroine. Typical sweet, cute, fun, loyal, caring etc etc characters. But Nate is off. Once I found out about Nate's past, I cringe. In my head is like: that is all? I have been listening to the audio book all day, and that is all I got? In my opinion Nate is coward. Acting like a child and hiding on his playboy visage. Not cool dude. He definitely not winning any point from me. In fact he robs 1 star from this book.

“Even though she’s everything I’ve ever wanted but never let myself hope for, I know I’ll run her, and I refuse to ruin her…It was nice while it lasted, Jenny Jones, but like I said, I’m not the guy for you.”
I recently read my first book my L.K. - Best Laid Plans. That story blew my mind.
I found myself comparing Best of Intentions to Best Laid Plans. Best Laid Plans won :). I can honestly say that I am a fan of this story and even though I was fond of both characters, I would have loved seing Nate begging a bit more. He had it coming.

Oh my gosh this book...the feels gahhh.

I’ve only read a couple books from this amazing author but let me tell you this, the ones I have read have been amazing and this one, Best of Intentions, it is phenomenal! It blew me away and left me in complete and utter awe.
There’s a select few kind of books that make me weak and a sisters best friend is without a doubt one of them and this is exactly what this book is.
Nate and Jenny are incredible characters and you just can’t help but fall for them both as a single or together. Their characters are loveable and put them together they shine.
Nate struggles throughout this book with a certain event that happens early on in his life but has carried with him ever since and that’s the thing that stops him from wanting a life time relationship, he’s a stunning cop with playboy ways but getting any girl he wants doesn’t exactly make him the happiest.
Jenny, oh this woman. She’s amazing and will literally help anyone in need. She’s kind, loving and has a beautiful, beautiful soul. She’s strong and confidant until she’s in the presence of a certain hot cop who turns her into a bumbling mess.
Reading about these two has been fun, from friends to something more back to friends it’s been intriguing and it pulls you in.
L.K. Farlow has recently became one of my favourite authors to read. Her books always and I mean always capture my attention and keep me captivated until the very end. This is most definitely one of my top reads this year.
I’ve recently found myself skipping through books as they haven’t been able to hold my attention but this one did and I’m so glad it did.

L. K. Farlow prosegue la serie A brother’s best friend con la storia di Nate che finalmente darà una possibilità a Jenny migliore amica della sorella, che da sempre ha una cotta per lui.
Nate Raynolds è un poliziotto carismatico che non crede nelle relazioni, per lui le donne vogliono dire sesso sfrenato ma fine a se stesso. Tempo prima aveva avuto le prove di quanto fosse allergico a un rapporto di lunga durata con l’altro sesso e la paura insieme alla sfiducia nelle sue capacità relazionali lo fanno continuare su questa strada. Li ha visti quei timidi sguardi emozionati e quell’attenzione particolare da parte di Jenny, la migliore amica della sorella Nathalie, ed è sempre più convinto di starle alla larga per il bene suo e della famiglia che l’adora da anni. Ma complice il matrimonio della sorella, un drink di troppo e un’inattesa gelosia dovrà rivedere le sue decisioni.

La storia è dolce e a tratti intrigante, i loro incontri clandestini e i loro battibecchi sono piacevoli e animano la lettura.
Permane come nell’altro volume una scarsa emotività nelle parole dell’autrice che ci ha abituate a lunghe descrizioni degli eventi che si susseguono, togliendo in questo modo slancio alla storia, spegnendola un po'. Non riesco ad entrare in sintonia con quest'autrice nonostante la scrittura sia scorrevole e la storia si legga in fretta, manca quel qualcosa, forse quel brio che mi fa palpitare e desiderare di averne ancora.
Per chi ha letto il primo volume ritroviamo Nat e Alden e soprattutto quella meraviglia della figlia Tatum, una vera forza della natura.
Ora, il prossimo libro è quello più atteso di tutta la serie, due sorelle a contendersi il miglior amico di Nate, Duke ma non ad armi pari perché una non c’è più e lui è ancora così innamorato di lei. Spero vivamente l’autrice cambi registro e ci riesca a regalare una lettura sofferta ma da ricordare.
Avrete capito dalle mie parole che quella che vi troverete davanti è una lettura carina, poco impegnativa, che può servire a farvi svagare per un po’. Non è sicuramente un libro che mi sento di raccomandarvi ma neanche vi posso dire di escludere.

Molto carino!
Dal 50% in poi l'ho apprezzato di più, non mi è dispiaciuto come l'autrice li ha fatti "allontanare" e soffrire dell'attrazione reciproca che provavano.
Meno la fretta di farli finire insieme quasi subito🙄

I wanted to love Best of Intentions, I really did. But I can’t. First, I’ve read this story before, well not this exact story, but close enough. Second, I really could not stand Jenny and Nate. Both of them just irritated the bee-jeez out of me. Nate with his attitude and Jenny with her gullibility were just too much for me.
The first SMH moment came when they snuck out of his little sister, her best friend’s wedding only to end up in bed watching tv and eating snacks? What?? From that point on, the story just kept irritating me. How many time did Nate call Jenny “Good Girl” but yet she couldn’t figure out that when he called her “GG” that’s what it meant?
This book was just not my style. I love Kate Farlow and have loved her previous books, but this one, sorry it’s a pass for me.

After Best Laid Plans I couldn't wait to read Jenny & Nate's story, and oh how I loved it! They spend a little too much time denying their feelings for each other but once they finally give in it is oh so sweet. You can't help but fall in love with them and won't want to put it down until the end. If you are looking for a sweet, low-angst story. This is it! 4 stars.

L.K. Farlow's best yet! Unputdownable, Best of Intentions was an absolute joy! Just like Jenny, I fell in love with Nate and just like Nate, I was enchanted with Jenny.

L.K. Farlow is a ‘new to me’ author and I have to say, after reading Best of Intentions, I’m totally not understanding as to why I haven’t read by her before!
Best of Intentions was all kinds of sweet, swoony, and filled with flirty banter! This book made me laugh, cry, want to talk some sense into the hero, and become BFFs with the heroine!
Nate Reynolds and Jenny Jones had me by the heart!
Their chemistry was explosive, yet Nate refused to give into temptation! And as frustrating as that could be, once I knew his reasoning... my heart broke for him.
“I’m a one-night guy, and she’s a forever girl.”
He was trying to do what was best, even if he broke his own heart in the process.
“Once upon a time, I figured I’d find me a nice girl and settle down — you know, way down the line. Then she happened. Or, hell, maybe I happened.”
I loved how the relationship progressed! It was slow, but there were still simmering heat between them that you just couldn’t deny!
“She smells like pure temptation and every desire I’ve ever had come to life.”
I enjoyed relationship and interaction with their friends and family! It was a key component in their lives! They were their biggest supporters with a lot of insight! They not only cheered them on, but helped them when they really needed that push!
And can I just mention how much I LOVED Tatum!?! She is the absolute cutest!
I was an emotional mess while reading Best of Intentions. It made me feel all of the things and then some! I rooted for the hero and heroine so hard and I needed to see their HEA through!

I didn't know exactly what to expect when I dived into this sweet, swoon-worthy best friends brother/ sister’s best friend romance, but I know that it definitely won’t be my last Farlow book!

LK Farlow has a magical way with her words and dang this was a really, really good book, totally my favorite one to date by her. Refreshingly beautiful, intricately written, and expertly told... LK Farlow's newest book featured one of my favorite kinds of heroes. The kind that play the field without commitment until they meet the one. Except in this case our leading man and woman have known each other for a while, they have just been fighting their attraction. Until they decide not to. And then they decide its better if they go back to fighting it. And then...
This book was kind of a roller coaster. But it was a great ride. Lots of emotion and witty moments and revelations and so much romance. I got to revisit with characters from a previous book and it all tied in so perfectly with this story.
Nate and Jenny were both really likeable characters and it made it easy to root for their HEA. I felt for Nate and the sadness and guilt he's harboring from his past, but I was really happy with the resolution. I was just happy with this story all the way around. I continue to enjoy this author's writing and look forward to what she will come out with next.

I Received an arc in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Candi Kane PR and LK Farlow. I really enjoyed this book, I love the sibling’s best friend/best friend’s sibling trope. I also have to read more romance novels that have police officers in them!! I really enjoyed Nate and Jenny’s character. I wasn’t the biggest Nate fan in the beginning, because of how reluctant he was towards Jenny but I liked how the story played out in the end. I really enjoyed Jenny’s character, she was so sweet and adorable. This story will be perfect for anybody looking for a really cute romance, that’s a short read with a tiny bit of angst.

Gah!! I love these characters!! LOVE!!! I needed more Nate and Jenny when I was reading Natalie and Alden’s story and let me tell you, this one did not disappoint!! I just, omg!!! If I thought I adored them before it’s nothing to how much I love this book and these characters!!

Avete presente quei giorni in cui tutto sembra solita routine e poi, senza grandi scossoni, una sciocchezza qualsiasi, lo trasforma? Ecco, questo è quello che accade in questo libro, dove, i protagonisti si conoscono quasi da sempre ma non sono mai andati al di là dal considerarsi l’una la migliore amica della sorella di lui e, l’altro, un semplice amico, per evitare complicazioni che potrebbero mettere a rischio la serenità di tutti. In effetti, entrambi provano qualcosa per l’altro. Jenny è innamorata di Nate praticamente da sempre. Lui, dal canto suo, la trova splendida ma, convinto che sia una donna che aspetta solo il “per sempre” non osa avvicinarla.
Il matrimonio di sua sorella con il suo migliore amico mette in discussione il suo pensiero. Ma può davvero lasciarsi andare, nonostante il suo passato e reclamarla solo per se? E, Jenny, avrà il coraggio di fare la prima mossa, per farsi notare da quel sexy poliziotto che popola i suoi sogni più segreti? Vedremo…
In effetti, i due protagonisti sono semplicemente adorabili nelle loro interazioni con l’altro. Nate, dopo una brutta esperienza, ha deciso che le donne migliori per lui sono quelle che si accontentano di una notte insieme, senza recriminazioni del mattino dopo. Coraggioso, amico insostituibile, fratello amorevole e zio formidabile, pronto a tutto per il bene di chi gli sta accanto, preferisce continuare la sua vita così come è, quindi non si spiega perché non tollera l’idea di vedere Jenny con un altro uomo. I colleghi, la famiglia e gli amici sono convinti che sia uno sciupafemmine fino alla punta dei capelli, ma in lui c’è molto di più, soprattutto, la paura assoluta di non poter mai essere l’uomo dei sogni di una donna come Jenny, dolce, sensibile, gran lavoratrice e, soprattutto, con quella luce negli occhi che grida al resto del mondo “voglio il per sempre.”
Jenny, dal canto suo, è una ragazza sfacciata, ironica ma anche terribilmente dolce ed è anche ferma nelle sue posizioni. Non sarà mai il giocattolo di una sola notte.
Non ci sono grandi scossoni nella storia, che è più che altro una presa di coscienza del fatto che bisogna lottare per raggiungere la felicità. E, in effetti, Jenny ce la mette tutta per farsi notare da Nate e fargli capire che insieme stanno bene, anche fuori da una camera da letto. Nate, testardo e capoccione, impiegherà un po’ di tempo in più ma, quando capirà che gran tesoro è Jenny, capitolerà come una pera secca.
Questo secondo volume della serie, che può essere letto anche come uno stand-alone, ci racconta una storia fresca, adorabile, dove, non essendoci grandi problemi si riesce ad entrare subito in sintonia con i protagonisti e a goderseli nei tanti bei momenti che vivono insieme. È una storia dolce e leggera perfetta per interrompere un lungo ciclo di letture strazianti e per trascorrere qualche ora in compagnia di due personaggi in cui ci si immedesima immediatamente. Tutte noi sogniamo di far capitolare il macho per eccellenza, quello che sembra non notarti nemmeno in una stanza dove ci sei solo tu e lui. Quanto ci batte forte il cuore quando l’oggetto dei tuoi desideri finalmente ti nota come donna e non solo come un’amica o qualsiasi altra cosa. E il macho in questione? Beh, Nate uscirà pure tutte le sere con una donna diversa ma, il suo cuore, anche se lui non ne è cosciente, cerca ben altro e nel sorriso e nella luce che accende lo sguardo di Jenny c’è tutto quello che gli serve per essere felice.
La Farlow è sicuramente un’autrice da tenere d’occhio, perchè, partendo dal classico clichè ha saputo dare vita a storie leggere e divertenti con un occhio attento a problemi reali. Jenny, infatti, ne ha uno che le ha sempre impedito di sentirsi a suo agio con gli uomini e l’autrice lo ha trattato con una sensibilità che mi è piaciuta proprio tanto. Quindi, il mio consiglio è di lasciarvi coinvolgere da questa coppia carina e dolce, e trascorrere un bel pomeriggio in loro compagnia.

I liked this book, but I loved the characters and learned Best Laid Plans involves the same character. This is a standalone but seems to be in an undefined standalone series.
Jenny Jones is a very likeable heroine. Sweet, caring, adorable with a scene stealing niece of the hero. The hero, not so much, we are told his past has darkened his view but when it is revealed I was like that is it? I don't want to say what happens, but a follow up after would have made his life a hell of a lot easier.
This was a good read, nothing great, no really major conflict other than the hero's own mind. I am told by a friend that the other books are better as her rating is similar to mine. So I will give them a go.

Ritornare nei luoghi in cui è nato qualcosa, quel qualcosa che si è perso subito, stroncato da vicende che solo anni dopo verranno svelate, è sempre difficile. Jackson lo sa e solo casuali circostanze fanno in modo che lui provi a ritrovare quella persona che gli aveva fatto battere il cuore otto anni prima, Lucas. Otto anni sono tanti e le persone cambiano, Lucas è cambiato ma non appena i due si guardano negli occhi, per entrambi è come se il tempo non fosse trascorso. E qui verranno a galla sentimenti, rabbia, delusione e il peggiore tradimento possibile. Anche se la storia nel suo svolgimento era abbastanza prevedibile, l’ho molto apprezzata. È ben scritta, con la giusta dose di dramma e di romanticismo che si bilanciano perfettamente. Un ottimo inizio di serie. Consigliato.

Non fatevi fuorviare dalla sinossi, Nevel e Ottavia sono ben di più.
Una storia che mi rimarrà nel cuore, lo stile dell’autrice mi ha colpito in maniera piacevole, non avevo letto nulla di lei e penso che recupererò appena posso le altre sue storie.
Non fatevi abbindolare dal solito bello e dannato, leggendo Nevel vi accorgerete di avere a che fare con un giovane uomo che cerca di non farsi soccombere da altre perdite.
Dice tanto di lui l’origine del suo nome.
Il personaggio di Nevel credo sia uno tra quelli che mi sono piaciuti di più, tra i tanti di cui ho letto.
Elisa poi, con le citazioni ad ogni capitolo, mi ha trasportato in un mondo dove le emozioni hanno fatto a pugni tra passato e presente.
Un altro fattore, per me di fondamentale importanza, è stata la presenza forte dell’amicizia per entrambi i protagonisti, come pure la presenza genitoriale.
Sono stata così coinvolta nella lettura che mi sono trovata all’ultima pagina in un attimo e alla fine mi sono trovata spaesata, perché avrei continuato ancora per molto a leggere di questi due ragazzi, per vivere il loro amore.
«Se potessi, mi infilerei tra le tue labbra adesso, divorandoti respiri e strappandoti gemiti. Ti lascerei sdraiare su questa coperta e vagherei con le mie mani su tutto il tuo corpo, anche dove non sei mai stata toccata, Ottavia».

L.K Farlow arriva in Italia con una serie dedicata agli amori verso i migliori amici di fratelli o sorelle. Dopo il primo libro dedicato a Natalie e Alden, il 24 aprile è uscito il secondo, dedicato all’affascinante “zio” Nate Reynolds e la dolce Jenny Jones.
Nate è un poliziotto sexy e arrogante, Jenny è dolce e innocente. Lui ama il sesso senza impegno, lei vorrebbe una storia piena di cuori proprio con il fratello di Natalie.
Per Nate, Jenny è off-limits, mentre per lei, lui è da sempre la sua “cotta” che si trasforma in amore.

Nate farà di tutto per ignorare l’attrazione provata verso Jenny con l’intenzione di non ferirla, ma si accorgerà presto che la loro non sarà una semplice amicizia.
Cosa succederà al nostro bel poliziotto? Non vi resta che leggerlo!
In questo secondo volume troviamo una storia semplice, piacevole e molto dolce. La scrittura della Farlow è scorrevole in quanto il libro si legge in poche ore, ma forse in alcuni tratti un po’ troppo descrittiva rendendo il racconto meno emozionante.
È sicuramente un romanzo ricco d’amore, scene divertenti e momenti piccanti.
Ho apprezzato il rapporto tra i due protagonisti, che riescono a superare le difficoltà e le loro insicurezze: soprattutto Jenny, che ha sempre vissuto con un problema fisico importante rendendola molto insicura verso gli uomini.
Se desiderate staccare per qualche ora e desiderate un libro leggero e semplice, per trascorrere un tranquillo pomeriggio di relax sul divano, allora questo libro farà sicuramente al caso vostro!

Buongiorno lettori, il libro di cui vi parlo oggi è Le migliori intenzioni di L.K. Farlow, secondo volume della serie A Brother’s Best Friend, edito Triskell Edizioni.
Quando ho letto la trama, ne sono rimasta subito affascinata, purtroppo però la storia di Nate e Jenny non ha fatto breccia nel mio cuore e si è rivelata deludente.
Nate è il fratello della migliore amica di Jenny. Quest'ultima ha da sempre una cotta per lui, ma per via del suo essere un playboy non si è mai fatta avanti.
La sera del matrimonio della sua migliore amica, decide di provarci con Nate: complice l’alcool e la sua voglia di mettersi in gioco. In un primo momento, Nate rifiuterà perché sa quanto Jenny sia off-limits, ma vederla ballare con altri uomini gli farà scattare una gelosia inaspettata.
Entrambi passeranno la notte insieme, ma al mattino le paure prenderanno il sopravvento e Nate deciderà di scappare da Jenny, lasciandola sola. Da questo momento in poi, comincerà il loro tira e molla…
Avete presente quella fitta allo stomaco quando la vostra cotta vi nota per la prima volta? Bene. Il braccio di Nate nel mio è la stessa cosa. Solo mille volte più forte. È come avere nella pancia uno sciame di farfalle, perché credo che da un momento all’altro potrei spiccare il volo.
Jenny è la vera forza di questo libro! Ha 25 anni e lavora come cameriera al Bayside.
È ironica, dolce, introversa e generosa, anche se in presenza di Nate, vedremo il suo lato silenzioso e impacciato. È una persona risoluta, non si fa mettere i piedi in testa da Nate: nonostante lui la farà soffrire, non starà mai zitta in un angolo e non avrà paura di dire quello che pensa.
Mi sono rispecchiata molto nella sua risolutezza e nel suo essere così determinata.
Le sue storie passate si sono rivelate un fallimento, ma nonostante ciò non si è mai arresa e non ha perso mai il sorriso.
Mi piace come, in certe situazioni, sia riuscita a tener testa a Nate, non assecondando i suoi cambi di umore; a mantenere la loro storia su un piano di amicizia, anche se lei avrebbe voluto di più.

Il mio modus operandi usuale è “amale e lasciale andare”. Non sto mai due volte con la stessa persona, mai, e me le dimentico prima dell’alba. Eppure, in qualche modo, una brava ragazza come Jenny Jones mi ha fatto infrangere tutte le mie regole. Regole che esistono per un motivo.
Nate ha 30 anni ed è un poliziotto.
Sexy e affascinante, le donne vanno pazze per il suo essere un arrogante playboy. C’è unna regola nella sua vita che punta sempre a rispettare: nessun legame, niente relazioni.
“Una notte può bastare” è quello che ripete a tutte le donne con cui finisce a letto, inclusa Jenny.
Ma Jenny non è come tutte le altre e il rapporto con lei potrebbe rovinare tutto.
Nate non crede più nell’amore perché quello che è successo in passato ha scatenato un trauma irreparabile.
Devo ammettere che il personaggio maschile non mi è arrivato e non sono riuscita a comprenderlo al 100%. Avrei voluto capire le sue paure e le sue insicurezze, ma il modo in cui si comporta con lei, giocando al gatto al topo, mi ha fatto male.
Il suo carattere, cosi testardo e intransigente, mi ricordava un bambino capriccioso.
A volte l’ho trovato egoista, ho avuto l’impressione che non considerasse i sentimenti di Jenny.

Ciò che non sono riuscita a percepire in questo romanzo è l’amore tra i due protagonisti: è come se fossero concentrati troppo su loro stessi, senza pensare ad altro. Mi è mancata la scintilla! Non ci sono stati grandi colpi di scena, probabilmente è questa la cosa che non mi ha portato ad apprezzare il libro al meglio.
Il rapporto tra i due protagonisti è divertente, intrigante, ma tutto si riduce ai loro battibecchi: non sono riuscita a scorgere l’evoluzione o la nascita del loro amore.
«Posso darti un consiglio, zio Nate?» Che male potrebbe mai fare, giusto? «Mi piacerebbe, Tatum.» Sale sullo sgabello accanto a me e prende la mia grande mano nella sua. «Innamorarsi è come imparare ad allacciarsi le scarpe, zio Nate. È difficile e ci vuole tanto tempo… davvero tanto. Ma una volta che lo capisci, sai come allacciarle per sempre. Non si dimentica.»
Il libro è ben scritto, raccontato da entrambi i pov dei protagonisti, e la lettura scorre molto fluida. Le scene hot sono descritte molto bene e l’autrice non è mai scesa nel volgare.
Durante la lettura conosciamo alcuni personaggi secondari tra cui Duke: un personaggio che mi ha affascinato moltissimo e che mi ha distratto dai protagonisti principali, soprattutto quando ho scoperto che il terzo volume parlerà di lui!
Non è un libro che mi è piaciuto particolarmente, non mi sento di bocciarlo del tutto, ma sicuramente continuerò la serie. Sono curiosa della vostra opinione e, soprattutto, se questa concilierà con la mia!

Best Of Intentions is such a sweet story that follows Nate Reynolds, a hook-up kind of guy and Jenny Jones, BFF to Nate’s younger sister. LK Farlow does an amazing job of giving us a best friend’s older brother romance that covers some difficult real life issues. Nate views Jenny as the very definition of a “Good Girl”, one who deserves a forever kind of love; which he feels he isn’t allowed to have due to trauma from past events. Jenny is a strong female character that knows what she wants however her crush on Nate causes her to be a bumbling fool whenever he is near. She also has major insecurities when it comes to relationships because of how her ex reacted to her condition. The night of Nate’s sister’s wedding, Jenny and Nate spend the night together, but Jenny wakes up alone the next morning. They both move on and each may have the best of intentions, but will it be enough to stay apart?
Tatum, Nate’s niece is my absolutely favourite character. I just love her, especially when she tries to describe falling in love to her Uncle Nate.
