Mira Brand Adventures #8

The Antecessor Conundrum

Rate this book
“When I ran away, aged seventeen, I didn’t do it for the usual reasons...I did it because I was looking for adventure.” My name is Mira Brand, and I'm a Seeker – a treasure hunter who can cross between worlds seeking long-forgotten treasure hoards of ancient races. My home is London, but I work in the worlds beneath our own, seeking after my own fortune. Backed into a corner, I find myself facing the sum total of all my bad choices. An enemy who kills without remorse. A former ally who has turned on me to get what he wants. And endless worlds, trapped in the conflict between us. On my final adventure, I find myself wondering - was all this worth it? The world-hopping, the treasure-hunting, the adventure? Or would I have been better off just staying home?

A Great Adventure Ends

A memorable and fitting ending to Mira's adventure. The perfect way to end the whole story especially the answers to the questions lingering the whole series, like what the worlds really are in relation to the universe or multiverse, and the beings, the lives of everyone.

If there will be a new series for the Seekers, I do hope it won't be Mira Brand. Her story has ended, she is now a legend. It's time to tell the adventures of her friends or even whole new characters.

For now, congratulations. A must read series.

Fitting end to the epic quests.

Well written adventure by Robert J Crane.
Very enjoyable end to the questing adventures.
More of a YA kind of feel but enough to entertain a sci-fi fan or dungeons and dragons. No loose ends at the end, all meat and tidy. Ten out of ten.
