Well, it's not really a book, but rather a collection of interviews. The interviews themselves are very shallow... There are few pieces of good advice or useful references here and there. However, I won't recommend this to anyone else, unless you can grab it for a few bucks like I did.

This isn't a bad book

This book consists of multiple interviews with engineering managers. Every interview had samw set of questions asked and.. unfortunately somewhat repeating and not enlightening answers. Some chapters were better, some worse, overally pretty easy to read.

Nice collection of interviews from front line managers/leaders in various tech startups. I like to think I read a lot of books, but the recommendations in the interviews impressed me.

Very insightful. It's always valuable to learn from others' key experiences. I also saved a great collection of book recommendations.
