Beautiful women, fast-paced action and non-stop adventure make "Assassination Authorized" a must read in lesbian fiction. LGBT mystery at its best,
With a degree in accounting, I set out to conquer my quiet little corner of the world. My plan was to work for a major accounting firm and live a comfortable life. One never knows where fate will lead. I soon discovered I liked taking chances and started acquiring small parcels of land to resale. Within a year, I found myself immersed in the fun of land brokering. My native state, Texas, is a wide-open community of wonderful people and vast amounts of land. Opportunities in Texas are limitless. Texas and the fact that I am a workaholic were the perfect recipe for success. I have visited every state in the U.S. and lived in some, but Texas is always the one that calls me home. I thought I had the world by the tail; a nice little ranch that bordered a Texas lake, a horse and a few head of cattle. Life was good. Then I met a woman and life was no longer good, it was amazing. Now my life is an adventure of love and laughter. My partner encouraged me to begin writing. I published my first book in 2014 and have been successful in the Mystery/Suspense genre. Too Strong to Die is my first gay book. I am proud to say that after one week, on 2/1/2017, it is the #1 (Paid) Lesbian book on Amazon. Thank you so much for making it happen. Please let me hear from you. Should I continue writing for our community or stick with my Mystery/Suspense books?
I think I said it before in my previous reviews but Erin Wade is one of the best mystery/suspense writers I know. She draws you into her characters, makes you feel a part of them. AA is a story with adrenaline-fuelled action and heavy emotions. The characters are amazing and they all kicked butt. Jericho is my favorite character. I'm very impressed with her. She is driven, headstrong, warmhearted and harsh when needed. If you like intrigue, twists and high excitement , you'll love this fast paced thriller. Oh, I forget the romantic part. The romance certainly added spice to the story too. Highly recommend!
Decent book with a twisty plot and two sweet romances. The plot was fairly well written but at times had me rolling my eyes with how implausible it is. The characters are all Mary Sues, so if that is something that annoys you, you may want to pass on this. They are all rich, gorgeous, smart, generally good at everything. Though, I'm not sure how Mecca never noticed the same six foot, gorgeous woman everywhere she is, but now I'm just nitpicking.
Always a pleasure reading one of Erin’s books. Her imagination is off the charts. Her women are the most beautiful and intelligent as well as accomplished. The main characters are so devoted to there spouses it so exciting. She has a way of heating up a scene and letting you mind take over the rest. I will always read her books.
Wade, you do this to me every time! You make me fall in love with every word you write. The mouth watering tale, the irresistible characters, the world building is simply fascinating. Why do you make your books so entertaining and engrossing? Don't you want me to stop reading until the every end? 😁 But please don't stop! This book rocks! I need to read more of your books
had high hopes, was let down. hypersexual, poorly written characters with a washed out plot and overall questionable morals. finished it because it cost me 20 usd and & bc i wanted to know if faith really yeets her kids
rant: the bible of mary sue, revolves around the queen of lesbian mary sues - mecca and her mary sue disciples being perfect except whenever they had actual conversations.
seriously the plot was predictable and the power imbalance of the relationships had me shook. it was frustrating how the author built up tense moments and gave a hint of upcoming drama to just end the chapter ignoring it, having mary sue work her magic to master the situation effortlessly or even worse, blatantly ignore it and change topics during a tense conversation. mecca: „hahaha i never had a stalker before“ jericho: „yes u had“ what normal person wouldnt be shook and ask questions??
the relationships were sweet at times but overally creepy, borderline predatory. the mary sues were described as professionals. but honestly? dating your patient? falling in love with ur asset ur supposed to shadow and then dating her as soon as she knows about your existence?
one woman professionally stalks her soon to be gf for YEARS and another one basically remodels her disfigured from amnesia suffering patient into the woman of her dreams („i gave you the face of the perfect woman - lana parilla“) and then marries her???

I don't often write so much in a review but I really had high hopes for this book, spoilers: Moderately good, could have been much better. I love spy and mystery stuff so I was excited to read one with lesbians! But as hard as I tried to love this book, I struggled to the end. So many of the "professionals" were anything but. I get it, love makes you stupid and willing to break some rules but really?Dating a patient, making her face into your dream girl is next level weird. My biggest issue isn't even with choices made, but the fact that (please correct me if I'm wrong) everyone of importance is gorgeous, insanely talented, and white? And most of the really bad guys are "Arabs?" Nowadays there really is no excuse for lack of diversity and representation.
I'm disappointed, don't be fooled by those 5 star reviews LOL
This book is too unrealistic. "I go to his back and snap his leg and BOOM his dead" LOL The characters are way too perfect, strong, beautiful and all of the cliche and also their disicions LOL Leave your child for a girl LOL The hypnosis of the psychologist is too unrealistic LOL Things also happen so fast, unlogical and too unrealistic LOL HAHAHAHA
This is a great read. A wonderfully twisted plot with government super agents, oddly talented assassins, talented surgeons, and a plot to over throw the Federal Government. This book is well written and will keep your attention. The love interest were handled nicely, making intimacy rousing for the reader without describing explicit sexual scenarios. It was a refreshing change and added a little class to the book. I also liked the strength written into the women characters.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK. Wade is a great spinner of lesbian fiction. Enjoy 😊
SPOILER ALERT - SPOILER ALERT - SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE BOOK DON’T READ THIS!
I just want to say one thing to the author - it’s unlikely a smart Mother as devoted as this one would leave her children once she found them. That was hard to swallow, she had access to funds to make them all safe - just generally speaking women don’t leave their young children and children want their real parents.
The daughters memories were in tact. No matter how much fun they were having with horses and swimming pools, the girls would have been devastated at their Mothers loss and not satisfied with a substitute. There father was a good guy, loved his kids, and their casual disregard for him didn’t seem plausible.
I listened to the audiobook and at first was thrown by the sheer number of characters - hoping I'd be able to keep them all straight. But soon enough I was caught up in the all the goings-on and was able to just enjoy the story. I have no issue suspending disbelief when reading books and going to movies and you have to here. Everyone in this book is drop dead gorgeous, highly successful and one even has a superpower of sorts. Fine by me - wish there were more in real life. lol It's a quite involved and layered story and good for Wade for weaving them all together. This was my first experience of Wade's work and look forward to trying a physical book next time!
Once I started reading I could not put this book down. Jericho and Mecca were pretty awesome. Faith and Kady were very sweet. Faith was a very brave and strong woman that did right by her children all along. Kady was very special as well. She was smitten by Faith and was devoted to her from day one. Please say Jericho and Mecca will return for another exciting story. They were awesome!
I think Mrs. Wade spent one life or another playing ball because she has written another grand slam!! In my opinion her writing like all good authors, draws you in and spins the events just right so you're always on the edge waiting and anticipating the next, sentence, page or the next book!
Once again, Ms. Wade writes an incredibly fantastic book. I couldn't put it down! The characters are so believable and the story line is well, I guess bizarre..It's so astounding to me how she comes up with the fascinating ideas for her books. I definitely recommend this book!!
I really loved and enjoyed this book, wonderful story, with a plausible political plot. One of my favorite parts was Mama Bear and her second encounter with 'magic tongue' Mecca, a fitting name, by the way. I loved heroic Faith. A mother doing everything to save her child and anything to keep her children safe. This is a great book. Read it, you will enjoy it.

Agent Jericho Parker has protected Dr. Mecca Storm for five years. She doesn’t know why the woman is s valuable to the nation but she’s a true professional. After a Jane Doe is rescued from the river, four doctors join efforts to save her life and help her recovery. A mystery and thriller with lots of action and adventure. Love the author.
With the right screenwriter and actresses, this one novel could be made into a short run series. Love stories, drama, excitement, the best daring rescue ever. Seriously give this book a read. One little teaser I love the river rescue.
This was an outstanding book. The angst and sensual energy were amazing. There was lots of fun, copious amounts of steamy sexual activity, suspense and conspiracy. One of the best parts of this novel are all of couples involved and how their interpersonal relationships evolve. The sense of community and protectiveness they all embrace is part of what makes this such an incredible story. Mecca and Jericho are intense in a way that as a reader it oozed into me emotionally. This was a book that provided all kinds of unexpected twists. I truly did not see the end coming. I am definitely going to read more of Erin Wade's writing.
It was pretty amazing. So you saw how certain items were going to happen- it was pretty obvious and it followed pattern. There were many things that you completely didn’t expect and they came out of left field! It was a wonderful book and despite worrying that it would be too lengthy, it was perfect to explain exactly what was needed.
