I finished this book, and I mostly enjoyed it, but the world has become rather silly. So every supernatural creature you've ever heard of and some you haven't exist in this world, but for some reason the Greek gods are real... but not other gods. Okay, they exist, but aren't gods. There are also angels.
The misspelling and grammatical errors continue, but I think it is even more annoying how often people tilt their heads in this book. By the end, I was thinking I could make a drinking game out of it for a Kindle Unlimited book club.
In this book, the "twist" at the end is heavy-handedly telegraphed, as in, why hasn't the main character figured this out yet? And other things! She's supposed to be smart.
I don't know if I'll read the next book. Guess I'll read the reviews.
I liked the story line, the plot even the characters but I dunno maybe it could've been written in a better way? It's an amazing idea actually, it just lacked that 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 for me.
Also how tf did she go from peaches to vanilla smh
Am still gonna read the other books tho lmao.. I need to know when Tucker finally tells Zin

Ahh ! I loved this novel so much. It literally picks up right where the first novel left off...which is amazing because you want to jump right in and continue on this journey with these characters.
I love Zinnia so much. Her sassiness, her spunky attitude, being stubborn and her love for animals really just makes her the most relateable character. I really enjoyed the overall arch of this story and the journeys that the crew needed to take to save Zinnia's mom, fight off the big bad and save the world.
Tucker and Zinnia, what can I say about their love. It is smoldering, spicy, intense and just down right adorable and yet forbidden. Grayson being the cheeky little baby leech that he is concocts this plan to help Zinnia find out who her match is by being her 'boyfriend'. I love their relationship because it really is a beautiful friendship. He is one of my favourite characters because of his sass as well. I am also intrigued to know more about the Shade curse. Tucker obviously is just the most chivalrous character; being the phoenix knight. His complex and broody nature just draws me in, because at the same time he is incredibly romantic and literally says the sweetest things to Zinnia that make my heart stop.
This series is high addictive. I am enjoying this ride so much and I already need the next novel in my hands...like now. Definitely pick up this series you will not be disappointed. It grabs the reader in every way; action adventure, magic system and schooling, wicked characters, cute but dangerous animals (like the dragon and Kumi whom I just adored and want more of in the next novel). This series literally has it all and I cannot wait to re-read the first 2 novels again already!
What a story! Wicked Magic continues Zinnia's story right where Wicked Witch left us. Without even having mastered her newfound powers, Zinnia battled Alataris and he kidnapped her mother in the process. Now she has to embark to a new adventure to save not only her mother, but an Ice Dragon and Evermore as well. As if that was not enough, she still has to find her soulmate, while fighting her forbidden attraction for Tucker.
As with the first book in the series, Wicked Magic was a well-written story, with wonderful characters and great world building. The plot was fast-paced, full of action, adventure, magic and romance. It really kept me on the edge of my seat with every page I read. Can't wait for the next book in the series!!!
I love that you chose Eastern State Penitentiary as one of the settings in your book. I watch paranormal shows all the time & have seen it invested several times. It is truly haunted & some terrible things happened there. I love & hate the way Grayson plays devils advocate in this book. However, that is kind of a trait that people associate with vampires. I really love the way you portray the Greek gods in your books. I love how much I am falling in love with even the teachers of Evermore. I will say I did kind of guess the surprise ending though. Not that that will stop me from reading the rest of this series nonstop! On to the next.
Great characters each with their own unique personality and style. The Knights must protect their Queens so that Alataris can be defeated for the first time. With Zinnia as the strongest Siphon Witch there is, they now stand a chance. They are only missing one Queen, the Queen of Spells, who happens to be the daughter of Alataris. In Zinnia and Tucker's mission, they free trapped ice dragon from Alataris, but Tucker is badly injured and then Zinnia receives another shock. She has to get Tucker to safety and with the help of the dragon they are able to get away from Alataris, but he still seems very cocky and has left Zinnia feeling like this journey is just beginning.
I’ve waited a while to finally continue this series as I like the worldbuilding. Unfortunately, the missing punctuation (especially commas), the typos (e.g. “ladder” instead of “latter”) and consistency issues (e.g. “running around the tent” when they were inside the building’s infirmary) just started to work on my nerves as it pulled me from the story. (A good AI editing program like ProWritingAid would have caught most of these issues and fixed it.) As for Tucker, why is he still lying to her? It seems I need to binge a series from start to finish, or things like this irritate me enough to DNF the series, despite the things I like. DNF 14% DNF series
This book is even better than the first! I found myself feeling bad for Zinnia and Tucker. To feel so intensely without being able to say anything has got to be the worst. I liked Gray trying to force Tucker's hand with Zee. Gray's connection with Zinnia had me giggling. This is another non-stop action story where you never know for sure what's gonna happen to who. It will keep you guessing til the end. This is becoming one of my very favorite series and I look forward to each new book. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
I absolutely loved 🥰 this book. It’s definitely a page turner, once you start you will not want to put this down, definitely do not start this late at night... you will not want to put this down... Everyone in this gang is definitely going through so much .... I was getting excited to see that he was gonna finally tell her she was his soul mate but, it didn’t happen, and I am sorry to see that Zinnia and Tucker do not know each other’s feelings yet.
Zinnia is the most powerful witch. Unfortunately she had to learn that the hard way. Her heart is her biggest part because she loves with her whole self. She thinks she knows who her soulmate is but she can't do anything about it now. With her saving the dragon she has found out something that knocks her for a loop. With her mom being held hostage Zinnia has to focus herself on saving her mom and the world at the same time. She is ready. On to number three....
What a fantastic read zinnia is all confused with not long finding out shes a witch and having found out that tuck is her soul mate hes send lots of mixed messages, throw that in the mixed of saving the world and her mum being kidnapped what could possibly go wrong. This read was full of twist and turns and talk about a cliff hanger of an ending at this book I'm left with a few unanswered questions definitely reading the next book in the series
I find it hard to believe that she hasn't figured out her soul mate yet. Even with the why not, it's just obvious. Quite a few editing errors. Action was pretty good although, I feel like something is missing from this story and can't put my finger on what. A closer look at the main characters feelings besides the smell of each other? I just want to feel more connected to it all. But I do still enjoy this series and will finish.
Whoa where to even begin. Zinnia and the crew have to try and recover and find her mom after he attacked them in Hexia. Alataris is up to no good of course! Greek gods, Fallen Angels, and a dragon. Near death fighting and just surviving. But the ending though! I knew it!!! Gah! Ready for the next book!
Except when they're trying to freeze the world, I suppose. So, an ice dragon is the latest weapon Alataris is using in his quest to defeat the five witch queens. Youd think he'd be furious when they foil his plans, but he discovers something that alleviates his frustration. Something that plays right into his scheme, and no one will even see it coming.
Wicked Good!! Must read in order to understand! crazy adventures with the knights and witches! Zin and Tucker have lots of tasks to complete and not without its hardships! Alao Can i just sat Grayson is my favorite!? his flirting is on point 👌 this sexy vampire can put a smile from ear to ear immediately!!!❤️ But my heart belongs to Tuck#IgotTucker#TeamGray&Tuck😅
Zin's powers are growing and while she's found friends among the rest of the Queens and Guardians at school, the fight against Alataris is just beginning. Alataris has stolen her mother and with a powerful Ice Dragon under his every command there is no telling where he will strike next. It's up to Zin and friends to free the Dragon and once again try to save Evermore from disaster.
Zinnia has adapted well to the magical world despite only just learning about it. Her mother hid her from it all thses years to keep her safe. There are so many secrets and lies, and once they are revealed, that is what will get you killed, not only the monsters.
Emotionally thrilling, action packed and engaging magical adventure filled with danger, heart pounding excitement and engaging charters..... could not put down this edge of your seat journey that was both entertaining and addictive. loving this series.
This book continues the adventure. It is easy to get lost in the story and connect to the characters. I love all the action and the romance. The ending will leave you eager for the next book.
The second book in this story and its just as great. I really, really love any kind of supernatural romance books and this is an awesome one so far. They are still fighting to keep everyone safe and defeat the evil king. Could not put down and am so ready for more!
This book was absolutely one of the best I have read. It captures all of the magic of this world in a way that is different from all of the other books that are like it.
The unique way that the magic is used is extremely interesting. Would recommend to anyone who likes fantasy!
The battle against Alastaris continues and the Queen Witches and the Knights have to face great challenges to keep the world balance. The reader is taken to different landscapes that are greatly “painted”. Let’s see what the author will bring for the next adventure.
I am loving series! The characters keep you interested from page one. Love the chemistry between Zinnia and Tuck! I normally stop reading after the first book in a series but look forward who moving on to Witch's Hex. Thank you.
This book had so much more challenges for oir witches. Zin is definitely learning more about her powers and what she is capable of. Her and Tuck are still dancing around each other. You will definitely need more.
