Breaking Dawn
Dawn Theron is a self-made woman with the confidence of a thousand women dwelling and flowing through her veins. Being the owner of the hottest strip club isn't easy when you have men coming attempting to tarnish something they didn't create. While running her business, she is also tasked with raising her son. She's focused on getting everything she wanted. Love is around the corner waiting to knock on her door, but she doesn't plan on answering.
Andre Caine has his eyes set on Dawn's business but isn't prepared for the fight ahead. Walking in he thinks this will be an easy move until he meets Dawn face to face. I really liked this story. Dawn was a tough one but not too tough for Andre. He was definitely whom she needed in her life. Great storyline as Dawn offered a positive outcome for her employees. Toni and Belize were good business partners and balanced her when she was going off the deep end. Andre's ex was a crazy nuisance. Glad she was handled. Enjoyable short read that has me ready for next segment of the series

A New Dawn....A New Light
A refreshing new story Line and I loved it. Dawn did make me want to strangle her on several occasions, but I truly understood where she was coming from. For so many decades, women have been forced to take on the role as the head of the household and make sure that they and their kids have the best of everything and succeed at all costs. When a man comes in and threatens that , it can definitely be problems. Andre , posed that threat. Not only to her business, but eventually her heart. 1-click and find out what happens when guards are let down, feelings are allowed to grow and Dawn realizes that letting someone in does not dim her #blackgirlmagic, but can allow it to shine brighter!

Loved it
Great read for the start of this series it grabs you from the beginning starting with the female boss dawn. She needed to be shown what love is and what it looked like to believe in it. Her bd messed her up with fake love at a young age but mr.caine her together real quick. Great series and can't wait to read more on her besties.

This was a good story
First of all I love the three female characters in this book Dawn ,Toni and Belize. They are three strong sisters who come together to start a business and support each other. Dawn is the owner of Breaking Dawn a strip club but not just any strip club she empowers the women that work for her. Andre walks into her establishment and decides he wants a piece of it that didn't go over too well. In Dawn in he sees a strong independent woman who refuses to go down without a fight. Andre doesn't know what hit him and he decides he needs to step his game up and make her his.

Unexpected Love
I like how Andre went into Dawn's club thinking that he was going to shake her down but found out that she was totally a different breed of the usual women that he encounters. She ended up accepting the offer of his heart and he ended up changing his mind about shaking her down. I hate how the truth came out of Vari not really caring about Dawn in the first place. I'm so in love with Moochie. I can't wait to see what Toni and Esko and Dooney and Belize got going on.

It’s a New Day
This 1st installment has me anxiously awaiting the next installment. Dre came in and had Dawn dawning a new day in her life. She was independent,self efficient, & a boss in her own rite.
Dre broke her down and built her up. He tried to be there when she needed him.They both believed in building up their partner. They both wanted the other to soar.
Definitely want to see what’s next for them as the rest of the tribe is explored.

Woman Boss!
I loved how Dawn was so independent, and put together, but she did so to the detriment of her love life. She shut everyone out. But, baby Mr. Andre was up to the challenge. At first, I didn't think I would like him; as I believed he would bully her out of her business. But, he made a liar out of me. He was smooth, a true gentleman who stole her heart. He surprised himself by falling in love as well. They had their challenges, and I'm glad love prevailed. Great story. Looking forward to reading about the other girls.

DAWN AND ANDRE ❤
C. Monet does it again with a very well written storyline and great character development. I loved how Dawn was a Boss and didn't back down nor was she intimidated by anyone including Andre. The instant attraction between Andre and Dawn takes them on a path of finding love but not without its share of reservations and drama. Both strong willed, they learn to take responsibility for their faults and allow their guards to be down just enought to take the next step as a couple. Can't wait to read the next installment to this amazing series.

Dawn is what every woman should strive to be in a sense
I loved every aspect of Dawn. She was a baddie that knew her self worth and refused to lower her expectations. She took her passion and used it as God intended though in a non traditional way with the strip club. She was wrong for coming at my man like that but he should have nipped Khia in the bud from jump to prevent it from happening. I love the tribe/sisterhood between Toni, Belize, and Dawn!! I'm excited to read their stories next!!

Loved it
I loved watching this story unfold. Dawn is the epitome of a girl boss. She also embodies a lot of negative traits of most self proclaimed Independent women. We can tend to be so used to being strong and doing it in our own that we fail to realize that when the right man comes along he will do everything in his power to make sure that you no longer have to do it alone. Andre and Dawn were tailor made for each other. Two bosses

This book was very good! I love how 2 strong minded people was willing to make changes all In The name of love! i cant lie that dang Dawn made me want to strangle her lol! From beginning to end I loved everything about this book! The storyline was perfect and I loved the way the characters grew! Great book.. most definitely worth 5 stars ... oh yea what does bounce dat azz smell like 😂😂

Sooo my favorite by C. Monet! The storyline was different, unique and interesting. I loved Breaking Dawn from the beginning until the very end. It was a non stop read for me. Dawn was sassy and just everything.. and Andre was just the icing on the cake. The two of them together were indeed a match made. I'm excited to read about their growth and to get to know more about their friends! Super good read!!!

Whew, Dawn was tough. When we feel like we’re being pushed in a direction not on the path, we come out swinging. Dre thought he could just take what he wanted and she was determine to make him a liar. But what’s meant to be will be. He was so patient with her too. She didn’t make me mad because I understand her but we need to do better she did and I am too, lol 🤷🏽♀️!!!! Now for Toni and Esko!!!

Breaking dawn
There isn’t enough stars to give for this story. Breaking Dawn was the perfect title because Dawn was a tough one but Andre did what he had to do to get through to her heart. I loved the message of women empowerment and it made me think of how I can empower women in my life.

" I'm bossy I'm the chick y'all love to hate " was the song playing in my head anytime I thought of Dawn ! Andre was that dude and Dawn's tough and sassy demeanor didn't stand a chance against him ! I love how they overcame their obstacles and ultimately chose loving eachother over Pride ! Can't wait to catch up with the rest of the crew soon !!!

Breaking Dawn by C. Monet
Whew chillld! Dawn took me through it. I understand the reason she had hard exterior but sometimes she was just way too extra. Dre was just everything. Though he had hang ups, he was receptive and open to love. Great writing! There were some formatting errors but it didn’t take away my love for the story itself. Can’t wait for the next one!

Morning breaking through the night
I loved Breaking Dawn. Dawn and Andre were both bosses but perfectly complimented each other. It’s a shame Vari didn’t have the sense to heed her advice and treasure what he had with her and Moochie. Can’t wait to read the other boss lady stories.

I loved Dawn throughout this whole book. Andre had me hot for a little while, but I’m happy that he saw Dawn for who she really was. My girl stayed true to who she was, she knew what she deserved & refused to settle. I love it! Oh yeah, Khia was really in her feelings, she had me dying laughing. Just nasty.

Decent read
If you can get over the grammatical errors, this was a solid read. I liked Andre and Dawn together. They were very much alike business wise but underneath they were soft like marshmallows. I even liked Andre and his stalkerish tendencies. Looking forward to the next book in this series, I only hope the grammatical errors are left out of the next books.

Beautiful
Dawn was a true boss!! I loved that she didn't have to change or tame her ways to be with a great man. He accepted her as she was even though her mouth spit fire if you didn't come correct. Khia felt that fire up close & personal. I loved her spirit!! Simply beautiful!!

I didn't feel the love
It was an ok story but it definitely needed to be fleshed out some more. I'm not convinced that Andre and Dawn even know each other very well, let alone are in love. It read to me, like this was a long winded story that got chopped down for publishing but some important parts must've been edited out. Could have been a 5 star novel.

The emotions in this book. Dawn felt that being a boss keeps her from finding love. Andre showed her that she can be in love and still be a boss. Can't wait for the rest of the stories. Very good book.

Wow! Superb!
I loved Dawn's and Andre's story. She an independent, strong woman who uplifted other women meeting the tough guy and they break barriers to each other's heart. This story shows that genuine love will withstand challenges and problems.

Loved it
This was a great book. At first I just wanted to punch Dawn in her throat. I am all for being a boss bitch and not being taken for granted by a man. However she was taking it to a whole other level. Glad she toned it down and found love. Job well done!!!
