Department Policy? Kinda sucks, but I do what I have to for the job that I love. Playing it safe? Not my thing. Married? No big deal when I know she’s unhappy and scared.
I’m one of those guys – a sniper in the military, a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, and a member of the Moonshine Task Force. I’ve lived through some shit.
My gut has never failed me. It’s my sixth-sense. Warning me of a gunshot coming my way, of a traffic stop being potentially deadly, or the tingling in the back of my neck when I go to sleep telling me I’ll be woken up by a call in the middle of the night. My gut has always kept me honest.
Like the day I walked into The Café and saw the new waitress. There was a ring on her left hand, but I didn’t care. One look in her eyes told me everything I needed to know. Her marriage wasn’t one made of love and respect. It was one made of fear and doubt.
It’s why I ignored that ring, why I arrested her husband, and the reason I’m willing to take my time. Patience is a virtue, and with this woman, I have it in spades.
Violet Miller
Meeting Anthony Bailey changed my life. He did things that no one else has ever done for me.
Feeling safe? Never happened before. Feeling wanted? It’s been years. Being independent? I’m learning.
It’s foreign, not having someone question my every move, being able to eat what I want for dinner, and sitting out on my front porch talking to Anthony every night while we share a couple beers.
I try to tell myself he’s just being nice; that he’s doing his job and working within the community. The problem? The night he takes the kiss we both want, everything changes, and I can no longer deny what I feel. But it doesn’t stop me from trying – and I learn quickly that Ace knows me better than anyone else ever has – including myself.
All I can do is hang on, as he takes me on the scariest journey of my life. The one that bends us until we almost break, and ends with a happily ever after I never thought I would get.
ACE includes the wedding of a beloved couple, an appearance by Reaper, and the continuation of EVERYONE falling in love with Caleb!
I've been waiting for this book since the beginning of the series and Laramie Briscoe did not disappoint. Ace and Violet captured my heart with this story and I loved getting to see them heal together.
After her husband attacked her, Violet never thought she'd trust someone again. But from the second she was released from the hospital Ace was right there to hold her hand and help her get by. Their relationship was slow, but full of love, which was the best thing for them.
I don't typically like when there are time jumps in stories but for this book it worked perfectly with the story. We got to see Ace and Violet throughout the many hurdles they had to go over and seeing how they handled those together was what made this book brilliant. It was more about healing than about discovering their love for one another since there was no question that they were perfect for each other.
I definitely recommend this book, and series. This one can't really be read as a standalone since it opens up where the last one left off.
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.
Absolutely AMAZING hero! Loved him! A man with a patience of Saint and with a heart of gold!!! Respect!
Very likable sweet heroine. Her life was hard. Domestic abuse is a very raw topic. I asked myself why didn't she leave her POS husband? And why didn't she file for divorce the same time he was arrested for beating her?
But I appreciated a lot, that the story wasn't rushed. They gave her time to heal, to sort out her life. And it was a good point the h waited for the divorce to start a romantic relationship with the H.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It's a shame there are not many authors, who write honorable heroes. Laramie Briscoe won me over with her faithful and decent heros. Another great book!
Wow the hero has the patience of a saint. He was a GOOD hero. He kept waiting for the heroine to be ready to start something, he never pressured her. He kept on waiting.. And waiting... And waiting... And waiting... Did I say the poor guy waited?..
“Everything, Violet. You're everything."
“I won’t be a letdown for her. I’ll be the person she can count on and the one who’ll lift her up.”
“This is the woman I’ve been waiting to meet for my whole life”
“She has my heart, and I know I’ll never get it back. Because I don’t want it back – I want her to have it all.”
I have sympathy for women who are being or were abused, believe me I do but I don't really know how I feel about this heroine. Did she relied on the hero too much? Yes she definitely did.
“He’s used to cleaning up my messes, so it should be no surprise that I’m calling him to clean up other people’s, too.”
And this Caleb kid? Omg... If this kid was my son, I would have slapped him silly.
~Amazing hero. ~Ok heroine. ~Safety gang safe. ~Not enough steam. ~Celibate hero and heroine.

Good day lovely people. I will have all the highlights ready once I finish the last book. I am reading these in a big box set because box sets are cheaper and they are lovely. So when I post the highlights be ready to cry your heart out !!
This story has had some major build up that I wasn’t expecting. Ace is my favorite character in this series so far. He is the epitome of a book boyfriend, an alpha male who saves his woman and pines after her but stays faithful while he waits until she is his.
To say we all need in Ace in our life is an understatement. Even if he has his demons he never lets them get in the way of his ultimate goal which is to love Violet with everything he has.
This book made me laugh and cry and gave me that much needed heart squeeze that you get from a great book.
** Chef’s kiss they will be legit epic and tear worthy and the dirty talk will make you need to get a towel to clean up the mess you make**
What a powerful and emotional read right from the beginning and it kept on through the very end of the book.
Kindness, love and trust were things Violet has never known and even though Ace has shown her that from the begining it was hard for her to accept them. My heart hurt for Violet due to the cruelty and abuse she endured at the hands of the one person that was supposed to protect, love and cherrish her.
Ace...that man, there are no words to describe how much I fell for him. The love and patience he showed Violet brought me tears and had me falling in love with him. A sexy, sweet and damn hot alpha that had me needing to find a way to cool myself down.
Don't miss this power story that will have you at the edge of your seat hoping, needing to have a HEA. Kara-5 Stars
One thing I have always loved about books by Laramie Briscoe is that they are very character driven and that is extremely evident in Ace, the latest release in her Moonshine Task Force series. We saw this paring coming in previous books, but it was evident it would take time and I was glad Ms. Briscoe gave these characters that time, because in doing so she showed their strength, integrity, and that good things come to those who wait.
In an abusive relationship for most of her adult life and following a brutal attack Violet Miller is learning to assert her independence, to accept she is worthy of friends and love, and to protect herself so she feels safe. She credits her friends and the man who saved her from the attack for giving her the strength to become a better version of her self, but she is also beginning to understand that strength comes from within and she is ready to take on the world.
The minute Anthony “Ace” Bailey spotted Violet Miller in the café he and his task force buddies frequent, he notices her beauty, her pain, and the ring on her finger. Never one to play by the rules, Ace vows to bide his time until he can make Violet see she deserves a better man. He hates that it came down to a brutal beating that lands her husband in jail, but he isn’t going to squander the opportunity either.
I was really surprised with the sweet and sentimental side of Ace in addition to the already protective side we’ve seen. I loved that he knew Violet needed time, needed to make her own decisions, and needed to feel safe which he provided in a way that gave her piece of mind without intruding. He made her understand he was there for her, but on her terms and I respected that greatly. I enjoyed watching Violet take control of her life, realizing she deserves better, working towards a degree that will help her have a better life, enjoying the friendships she has made, and eventually letting Ace and love into her life.
I loved this book, but I felt like something was missing. I kind of needed to see Violet confront her abusive husband even if it was through a phone at prison visitation or a letter. I needed that closure for her and for me.
A story healing, love, laughter and love, Ace was an excellent addition to the Moonshine Task Force series. Now bring on Menace!!
I have been waiting for Laramie to show me Ace, because through this series he seemed to have a serious story but was always mysterious. I am so glad she him a little bit of a secret because DAMN. He is AMAZING. I love him he is sweet yet rough when he needs to be and SEXY!
I can't wait for the next book because the epilogue has me blown away!
It’s not a secret how much I have loved the Moonshine Task Force series and Ace is the latest addition to the series. I enjoyed Ace overall but it sadly isn’t my favorite of the series. Now before you think something horrible about me I did really like it.
I tried so hard to connect with Violet, especially since I had been abused in the past, but for some reason I just never could really come to like her. She was wishy washy at times in my opinion and her stance on something (read it because I am not going to spoil it) while it showed that she had a morality level higher than most in her situation kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I just wasn’t convinced that she wanted Anthony as much as he did her.
Anthony aka Ace now he is the kind of man that you want on your side, who is protective yet allows you to spread your wings so to speak, who is patient and sexy as well. What he does for Violet proved that he was a damn good man, I just wish that other things didn’t hold them back for as long as it did. He deserved happiness and while Violet wasn’t my favorite he did get it with her.
Ace sets up the future books, we learn things about some of our favorite characters that not only open our eyes but have us anxiously awaiting the next book. While this one may not have been my favorite of the series, it is still a really good book that at times is emotionally draining, has action, romance and healing all in one package. Add this to your TBR shelves!
Ace is the fourth book in the Moonshine Task Force Series. Each story is unique to the characters but ties in together through the men's jobs as part of MTF. I've been loving this series and excited that there is still more to come.
Compared to the other stories in the series, I felt that Ace was a bit slower and lacked some of the excitement the other stories had. That being said, I loved seeing Violet get her story. She suffered from abuse and trauma and this story really made her shine. Her development throughout was inspiring and brave. The way Anthony was with her was amazing. He was so patient and kind and understanding. I don't think he could be any more perfect!! I absolutely adored them both.
While there wasn't as much action in this story as some of the others, Briscoe does a great job of laying the groundwork for Menace's book. She introduced us to a new threat and I'm eager to see how the guys are going to solve this case. I'm also loving the set up for the next couple. While I was reading, I knew immediately who the lead female would be. I can't wait to learn more about her and how she'll click with Mason. If the snippet at the end of Ace is anything to go on, it's going to be HOT! Seriously, the few pages that were included had me fanning myself. I can't wait to get my hands on it!!
Hmm, I didn't enjoy this as much as I expected to. I loved the friendship Anthony and Violet had, and seeing them together was nice too. But it wasn't really a page-turner for me.
Also, this didn't have any bearing on the rating but after reading Menace I was hoping we'd see more of sniper Ace. Oh well, off I go to look for some more action romances!
WOW and WOW again! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it's story line. The chemistry between the lead characters is palpable and the bond between the task force and their families are amazingly real to the reader. The story itself begins with Violet who is in the hospital because her abusive husband enters the cafe' that she works at and proceeds to beat the hell out of her until Ace enters, stops him and arrests him. Ace has always had his eye on Violet and knew that what she needed was someone to show her what real love was and what a real man could bring into her life, and he wanted to be that man. There is also the returning story of the moonshine that is turning back up in the local high school and there is Caleb who is trying to deal with the death of his friend in the previous book, but is having a very hard time. There is a wedding, a baby and so much family time in this story that it gives you all the feels. But it is Ace and Vi who are the stars of this book and their story begins painfully slow, but it is what is needed to help Violet regain herself after going through what she's been through with her husband. Their story builds beautifully and patiently until you have reached the end of this book and sigh.
The story is very well written giving wonderful description of the events that are taking place and the characters are so very well defined and developed. This is one group that you wish you could be a part of. I highly recommend this book, this series!!!
I have absolutely loved every book in The Moon Shine Task Force but I honestly think that this book might have to be the best out of all of them. It was so sweet and so romantic but it was also so traumatic too. Violet had been through so much in her life both physically and mentally. At the beginning of this book she is so broken on the outside but she is so strong. I could literally feel her strength. Ace is such a sweet heart. He is so totally in love with Violet. It is so obvious to everyone but her. He is so gently with her but he never bosses her around. Ace always gives her a choice. To watch Violet getting stronger chapter by chapter. To watch her strive to make a better life for herself. To see someone like Ace stand silently beside her was amazing. This book has everything. I would highly recommend it. Now I can't wait for book 5. If the sneak peak we got was any indication this book is going to blow us all away. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the 4th book in the series and talk about bringing it home. Wow! The author gives us all the love of all the previous couples and lets us jump in and watch Ace and Violet try to navigate their new normal. Terrific story!
We know these characters from earlier books. This one starts right after the last with Violet in the hospital after her husband beats her up in front of everyone in the Cafe. Ace becomes her protector but more than that, he becomes her friend. He isn't a crutch for her, but rather the person she can learn to trust again with.
This is slow moving but there is a lot happening with side stories--weddings, babies, teenager angst, moonshine---all swirling around the friendship being built with Ace and Violet. Both of these characters are such good people. I found myself rooting for them from the start. LOVED Ace--his patience, his romantic side, his humor, his love. Just an overall great read.

~ 4.5 Rebuilding Stars ~
Ace is the 4th book in Laramie Briscoe’s Moonshine Task Force Series. I think this is my favorite of all the books so far. I truly loved Anthony (Ace) and Violet’s story.
I thought this was another great addition to this series. I felt it was the most emotional of the books so far. It gave us an inside look at what a woman feels and experiences after she’s been a victim of domestic violence. Now don’t get me wrong this isn’t all a downer type story….there are many happy and swoony moments. Just know this story will tear at your heartstrings also.
I was excited to read Anthony and Violet’s story since they were introduced into the series. I knew Violet’s story was going to be emotional but what I didn’t expect was how much I would love Anthony. He was so sweet and patient. I loved that he wore his heart on his sleeve. He showed Violet what a real man is like and how true love is supposed to feel.
Ace is a standalone novel told from Dual POV. You don’t have to read the other books to understand this story and to enjoy it, but to get the full experience of the Moonshine Task Force and the guys behind it, I would read this series in order. The only downside of this story to me was, that it lacked some drama, I thought it needed something to keep you on the edge of your seat. I kept waiting for that shocking moment in the story and it never really came. But even with that I loved this story.
I loved that we got the addition of some of the other characters in this story. We got to see what Leighton and Havoc have been up to and then we finally get to see a Wedding of one of the beloved previous couples. I’m not going to say who….you’ll have to read this book to find out ;) I also liked that she set up the premise of the next book in the series….Menace. I look forward to see what happens to Mason and his son Caleb.
So if you are looking for that sweet and swoony romance with a lot of heartfelt emotion in it, then this is the book to read!!! I would recommend this story/series to all readers.
Violet and Ace’s story was truly amazing. Violet comes from a violent home and Ace wants to show her what true happiness is. These two go thru a ton of obstacles, and so worth the read. This book just like all the others in this series is hard to put down once u start. Dying to start Masons book next.
This is the fourth book in the Moonshine Task Force and this has been my much anticipated couple of Violet and Anthony (Ace). I met them in the previous book Havoc and couldn’t wait to get their story.
Violet is an abused wife and she meets Ace at the diner where she waitresses. He knew when he first saw her that he wanted to be the man to make her happy and on that fateful day her husband came in the diner on a rampage and beat her badly, Ace was the officer that arrested her husband and made it possible for Violet to finally have a life.
Ace and Violet are attracted to each other but don’t act on it. Violet wants to be divorced before she takes their friendship to the next level. Ace is patient and takes the relationship at Violets pace and he helps her heal. He is there to provide the safe haven of friendship and to give her the support she needs to heal. I loved their characters and Ace is just the man to bring out the woman that Violet once was. After years of being downtrodden by her abusive husband, Ace was the risk taker, the adrenaline junkie that shows Violet that with him, it’s safe to take risks.
This is a slow burn romance and I enjoyed the journey of watching them fall in love. It was great to have the families of the task force be there to provide love and support for Violet and to have her best friend be married to one of Ace’s buddies. It really provided that connection for the characters. I love the dual POV as it provides great direction, but I wish I would have a little more background on Ace. He is such a great guy that I wanted more. The story flowed well and there is a lot going on with our current characters as well as previous characters interwoven into the current story. There are some time jumps, which don’t bother me and were handled smoothly. The only down side for me is felt the ending was a little quick after the long build up of the story.
This is a great addition to this series and with the sneak peek at the end, I can’t wait for Menace and Karina’s story.
What a fabulous addition to the series. I loved the storyline and the characters are terrific. The guys in the taskforce have a bond that keeps them closer than brothers and the love they have for their women and families is beyond amazing.
As the title suggests, this is Anthony “Ace” Bailey’s Story. He is a police officer and a member of the Moonshine Taskforce. To the world Anthony is this sexy, macho, carefree daredevil that lives in the moment. What his friends and the world don’t know is Anthony longs to find his soulmate and settle down. He thinks he’s found her in Violet, a waitress in the diner they all hang out in. However, Violet is married, granted not happily and it’s an abusive situation as well, but she believes in her vows and won’t let Ace get too close to her (even though she secretly wonder’s what it would be like to be his).
At the end of Book 3 we know Violet’s husband comes into the diner and begins beating up on her. Ace and the other’s come in and he is arrested and Violet is taken to the hospital. This book takes up from there with Violet trying to get her life back together and with Ace there as her friend every step of the way.
The storyline will warm your heart and keep you smiling and laughing as Violet gets her footing in the world on her own and the rest of the gang deals with family problems and moonshine being made and sold in their town and injuring the youth. This book as well as the first 3 in the series are all so well written and the characters so down to earth that you just can’t help but fall in love with all of them. 2 Thumbs Up to Ms. Briscoe for a job well done and to my fellow readers I recommend one-clicking all of them ASAP. You won’t regret it.
AMAZING the series keeps get better and better!!! Ace and Violet took up a space in my heart, that I thought was only for Whit and Renegade. Wow the patience and love he shows this woman that clearly needed a hero was right out of my fairy tale fantasies. Laramie has given us a bunch men that would melt any woman not just from their hunkiness but, because they know what makes a woman swoon. Gallantry, unselfishness and above all love and passion. I can wait to see Menace and Caleb fall in love. Ummm how long do I have to wait???
For me, Ace is the eagerly anticipated next installment of her Moonshine Task Force Series. What can I say about this author that hasn’t already been said? She continues to excite me with each of her new releases. I am always eager to see what emotional journey she’s going to take me on. And Ace was no exception.
The emotional journey that Laramie takes Anthony “Ace” Bailey & Violet Miller on, is fraught with a slow burn like I haven’t read in awhile. With Vi’s violent past, it’s a testament to her inner strength that she’s able to not shy completely away from Ace. Ace’s perseverance and utter devotion to Violet makes this reader’s knees weak like water & wish like crazy that he wasn’t just my new book boyfriend. My heart broke for Violet and cheered Ace on while these two figured out their way into a permanent place into one another’s hearts.
The little glimpses that Laramie gives you into the other couples from the MTF series is like visiting with friends you haven’t seen in awhile. I highly recommend this series.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it.
I liked this book. I was a bit wary with how things would proceed, giving violet’s situation but they were handled well. Ace is great, totally swoon worthy and Violet was a strong, determined woman. I loved catching up with the rest of the MTF, they’re such a great family and I can’t wait to read menace and Caleb’s stories. If there’s one thing I would’ve wanted is a little more action. I felt for the second half of the book I was waiting for something major to happen, with the ending both a little rushed as well as dragged out.
Wow I absolutely love this book as well as the other ones in this series. Ace is so loveable and patient. I really enjoyed reading this book it was emotional and it really tugs at your heart with how well it was written I felt like I was in the book not just reading it. Thank You
Finally we get Ace's story and it sure doesn't disappoint. I loved Ace and his sweet and caring nature he has Violet. He sure is swoon worthy. Violet is like a butterfly getting her wings, and it was wonderful watching her get some happiness. I like how past characters are entwined in eachother's stories. I'm enjoying Moonshine Task Force series and I can't wait for the next one.
We meet Violet in Havoc story, and we all know Ace from all the previous stories. I was excited to get this one on my kindle to see if Ace and Vi would get their HEA and what would happen to that low life called her husband. At the end of Havoc we know that Vi was beaten to a pulp by her husband and Ace and the rest of the Moonshine boys had came in to arrest him. This is where this story picks up. I was glad the author put the book in 3 parts where we could see how Vi and Ace story grew and how it came together.
Ace meets Vi at the diner that she and Leighton works at. It didn't matter that she had a ring on her left hand. He could tell that she was miserable in her marriage and the bruises on her arms that she tried to cover up. He knew if he was patient enough that one day he would make her his.
Vi was done with her husband crap and was sneaking to take classes at local college. She enjoyed the friendship she had made at diner with Leighton and the Moonshine boys, but Ace had really started to grow on her. When a particular day had left her and Leighton run ragged they were taking a break she put her head down and never seen her husband fist coming at her. She barely remembers Ace coming in the door and taking her husband on and into custody. The next thing she remembers is being in the hospital. When she goes home Ace is there to help her pick up the pieces of her life and stays at distance until she feels comfortable for more. They are friends and she doesn't want to mess anything up. When their feelings get to be to much, she tells Ace that she doesn't feel right and wants to wait until her divorce is final. Can these two hold out or will it all become to much for Vi?
I love the journey that they author takes us on and each book just keeps getting better and better. I cant wait to read Marcus story next.
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Ace is the fourth book in Laramie Broiscoe's Moonshine Task Force Series. If you haven't experienced any of the Moonshine Task Force you are missing out and I highly recommend them.
Anthony "Ace" Bailey is not a rules kid of guy. He isn't crazy about he department rules but has to follow them to ensure he has a job. Playing it safe is not his kind of thing. If someone special just happens to be married it is no big deal when he knows when is unhappy and scared. Ace is a sniper in the military, a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, and a member of the Moonshine Task Force. He has lived through some bad stuff. However, his gut has never failed him and has always kept him honest. Just like the day he walked into The Cafe and saw the new waitress. There was a ring on her left hand, but he didn't care. One look in her eyes told him everything he needed to know. Her marriage wasn't one made of lave and respect. It was one made of fear and doubt. It is why he ignored that ring, why I arrested her husband and the reason he is willing to take his time. Patience is a virtue, and with Violet, he has it in spades.
If you haven't read the previous books you might want to do that before reading Ace. There is a wedding of a couple in the previous books and the appearance of several other couples from the previous books that have a part to do with this story. But, you also get a glimpse into what they are up to and how things are going for them. This might just spoil the other books for you. I have to say that I loved Ace. He melted my heart more times than I could count. I think we all need a little Ace in our life. Violet caught his interest from the first moment Antony laid eyes on her. She however is married to a scumbag that Anthony ends up arresting and also saved Violet's life. Violet has lived in an abusive marriage that had made her lose all her self confidence and makes her hide from herself and other people. Ace saved her and he has been by her side helping her to recover or sitting in her drive at night to make sure she can sleep. This is their love story. Most of this book is a love story. Their is a little bit of Moonshine Task Force action in the book but it is mainly the story of Ace and Violet.
Laramie Briscoe did an amazing job with this book. I felt like I was going through things right along with Violet and Ace. I was thankful more than once that Violet had Ace. He has got to the be most patient man on the face of the earth and that is exactly what Violet needed. I loved how he would at times push her to try new things and to be around people. But, most of all I loved watching these two fall in love. I can not wait to see which book we get next. I am loving this series so much.
This is the fourth book in the Moonshine Task Force series which has firmly become one of my favourites.
Anthony ‘Ace’ Bailey is a fun guy of the task force, not one for rules but he loves his job and his team. When he sets eyes on the new waitress in the café and has this explosive reaction to her, he knows his life is about to take another direction. He can feel it in his gut and his gut has never let him down before. Even though she is wearing a ring he knows she is meant for him.
Violet Miller is a shy and retiring type of woman, living in her inner shell after being continually run down and abused by her husband, she is no longer the girl she used to be. However after her husband takes his violence a step too far, Violet knows this is now her chance to make a change. It seems her rescuer might be the one to help her make that change. Ace.
Over time while Violet heals both physically and mentally, the pair become close as close can be but that final step can never be taken until Violet is free from her past.
First off let me be clear there is NO cheating in this book which was my first worry but nothing like that happens. This was a wonderfully romantic book that had me swooning. I so loved this book and it is my most favourite of the series to date. Ace wasn’t really on my radar in the previous books as I just saw him as the fun best friend in the background. Oh my he was hiding so much depth and sexiness. This man is hot! I loved him so much! I also loved Violet and the inner strength she had. What a pleasure it was to see her finally fly free into the arms of her sexy saviour, Ace.
This was an absolute joy to read and I was in such a book hangover when I finished reading it. I missed them all. The snippet of the next book has me hooked already. Until then I can reminisce about Ace. Brilliant! Five Ace Stars.
The arresting officer is a patient Alpha. An oxymoron you say? It is especially if you know Ace. He's a cop but not crazy about rules. Strong, big, and brash. Not with Violet. He knew right away she lived a sad, bullied life. He planned to change that. When he arrested her husband before he could finally kill her with his violence it was time. (Please note that while she is married, their relationship respects that until her marital status changes) Ace stood by her in the hospital. Took her home when he wanted to take her to his. Guarded her from a distance to make her feel safe. Befriended her. However long it took, he'd wait. Their relationship is tender, he helps rebuild her self-esteem. The Task Force guys are all strong alphas and friends in a dangerous job. The author examines the pain of loss, the time and strength to recover from abuse. We find characters we've met and loved and new ones we are drawn even closer to. This is a series that ropes you in and makes you anxious for more. Ace is a special man, Violet a strong woman who takes times to figure that out. Don't miss this book or the rest of the series. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
Oh how addicted I am of the Moonshine Task Force! All the feels and I can not believe we are on Ace's story already. Even though I knew that it was coming, I was hit like a ton of bricks with Violet's story of building her new life. I kept waiting for the worst to happen and decided to roll with the punches. I have come to love this group and their woman.
When I get addicted to a series, I always hope that the next book will do it justice. Ace did bring it and more. Vi becomes a bad ass and takes on life for what it is. Ace is so patient that I eventually thought he would give up. Vi's and Ace's story is no picnic in the park, but it will still have you rooting for them
Ace made me nervous but calm. I had many conflicting emotions, but allowed my heart be taken within the pages. I can not get enough and will continue through the journey with the men of the MTF. I love that as each book comes out, we see how the previous characters continue to grow. I am excited to read Mason's and Karina's story next. I only hope she will be gentle with his heart.
