Clover’s life is pretty normal. She shares an apartment with her best friend, Amanda, and is a student in college. The only issue she’s facing are the awkward moments in the apartment with Amanda’s boyfriend, Mitch. Instead of spending time at the apartment Clover begins hiding out at school.
When her best guy friends Dimitri, Gavin, and Dane find out what’s happening they offer her one of their empty rooms in their house. At first, she doesn’t accept their offer, but after one more awkward encounter with Amanda and Mitch, Clover decides to move so that her best friend can have the space that they need.
Was asking Clover to move in a mistake? It might have been, but Dimitri, Gavin, and Dane can’t turn back now. They have to deal with the fact that the girl that they are all madly in love with is now living under their roof. The worst part is that they are forbidden to touch her. If they do they risk the wrath of a very dangerous vampire named Thomas.
Of course, they have no idea that Clover has been crushing on them for a very long time. Being closer to them is a dream come true, but she can’t admit that to them. It’s too embarrassing because she’s nothing like the girls that typically hang out with Dimitri, Gavin, and Dane. She’s convinced herself that they wouldn’t even be interested. No matter how the guys feel, they must keep Clover from discovering their secrets. She can’t find out that they aren’t exactly human or that they have been protecting her since high school.
It only takes a day of living together for things to come unraveled.
The guys are barely able to stay in control of their actions. When Dimitri suddenly gives in to his desires and kisses Clover, it ends up pushing her into another guy’s arms. What makes it worse is the fact that this new guy has his own secret and nothing that Dimitri, Gavin, and Dane do intimidates him into leaving Clover.
That’s when things really begin to spin out of control.
Thomas shows up without warning and forces the guys to add Lincoln to their pack before nearly killing Dane. It’s the last thing that anyone wanted, but adding Lincoln to their pack comes with a perk. They now have strength in numbers to free themselves from the vampire's grasp.
In a desperate attempt to keep Clover close the guys reveal their feelings for her. They try to convince Clover that the four of them would be more than willing to share her, but she isn’t quite as willing to jump into that kind of relationship. She’s unsure how it would even work.
Clover hides from Dimitri, Gavin, Dane, and even Lincoln before realizing that she can’t live without each of them in her life. Instead of beginning a relationship with all of them she tries to create boundaries so that she can be with Lincoln, and only Lincoln. It’s a difficult decision, but one that she believes has to be made.
Those boundaries don’t last long.
Meanwhile, Clover uncovers Dimitri, Gavin, Dane, and Lincoln’s secrets and then ultimately decides to give in to her own desires.
But before the guys can openly be with Clover, they need to get rid of Thomas to keep him from taking her away. With a little help from some unexpected sources, they might just have a chance.
Will the guys manage to destroy Thomas? Will they be able to share Clover or will she decide that only one guy will do? Can they build a life together, or will jealousy cause everything to fall apart? Only they can decide what paths to take, and control their happily ever after.

This story is a bit complicated with the various relationships. Clover, a college student, shares an apartment with a friend. But Amanda has a boyfriend and some awkward situations arise that make Clover uncomfortable. When her best friends, Dimitri, Gavin, and Dane learn about what’s going on, they offer her an available room with them. The problem is, the three of them have a not-so-human secret they need to keep from her, and all of them really like her. They don’t realize that Clover has a crush on them as well. As she moves in, the lid on a box Dimitri is carrying pops open and one of her “toys” she brought with her starts to buzz. The look on everyone’s face said they all knew what that was (and the wolves had already figured it out). So things get awkward again. But their Vampire Master, Thomas, tells the guys she belongs to him and they are to keep Clover safe and pure for him or he will take her away.
When Clover and Amanda go to a club downtown, Clover meets Lincoln who also has a secret. When Thomas walks in and sees Lincoln with the guys, he is ready to kill him until Dane convinces him that they should include Lincoln in their pack to provide more protection for Clover. So Thomas agrees. What Dane really wants is to have Lincoln join them since that would give them enough strength to defeat Thomas. Later the guys try to convince Clover that they would be happy to share her, but she refuses until being away from them becomes intolerable. She still only wants a relationship with Lincoln, but she wants the guys in her life. Will she find out their secret? Will the four of them dispose of Thomas so he can no longer take Clover away? Will she finally give in and allow them to “share” as they suggested? Or will they have to give up on that idea?
I didn’t really get into this story very well. None of the characters made me care about them. Some of the funny parts were good, but as a whole, it just didn’t capture my attention.
Dimitri, broody but protective, was the oldest by a year. Gavin, the quite one who rarely said anything, and Dane, the outgoing jokester, were what they called Irish twins since they were born nine months apart. The boys had moved into the neighborhood when Clover, an only child, was a teenager. Somehow, the four just meshed together as friends perfectly. But as they grew older, Clover started to have feelings for these three young men who only seemed to look at her like a little sister. To top it off, anytime she became interested in someone or someone became interested in her, the boys managed to run them off, so she quit trying. Raven K. Asher has become a favorite of mine. In this story there are twists and turns, friends and enemies, heartbreak and love. Such an exciting story that definitely kept me glued to my seat until I finished. Wait until you meet her characters. You'll either love them or love to hate them but none of them will leave you untouched. Clover shares an apartment with her best friend Amanda but things start getting awkward and embarrassing in situations with Amanda and her boyfriend Mitch. Her best guy friends Dane, Dimitri and Gavin offer Clover their spare room but she says no at first but then things at the apartment go from bad to worse so Clover accepts the offer and she moves in. There’s a couple of men missing from this cover although I think the one that’s on it would portray Dane.
This book takes off with a friendship that has existed for years among 3 of the men. I love the name Clover although it does remind me of a dog that my grandmother once had its such a sweet name and her character is just as sweet. Clover’s attraction to her 3 friends becomes an issue until she realized that it’s not as unrequited as she thinks. And that’s a game changer. With some spicy scenes it gets even hotter when a bartender is added to the mix. Blend it up and it’s an entertaining read.

What an intriguing and dynamic story! I enjoyed this story a lot. It's a well written paranormal adventure. Dimitri, Gavin, Dane and Clover have been best friends since she moved to the neighborhood. She is now in college and things get strange. The boys find out and get her to move in with them. She has always crushed on them and the feeling has always been mutual. Then in step challenges, friends, enemies, action and drama. This is a very sexy, steamy reverse harem story that was a pleasure to read.

Forbidden by Raven k Asher. A fantastic read with some great characters. I really enjoyed this book. There were moments I wished I could go into the book and maybe knock some sense into Dimitri Dane and Gavin. Really didn't like Mitch or Amanda for how Amanda treated her. I liked Lincoln for how he jumped in and saved Clover. I loved the ending. Perfect. 5*.
This was a great book I loved it I could not get enough of the alpha men and how they stepped up to take care of her. It was filled with friendship flirting and wows throughout the book I wanted more of them

A good reverse harem story with a paranormal twist. Action and drama collide with growing attraction in this story with a young woman and the men who have befriended her. The story has many twists and provided plenty of steamy scenes. The complicated nature of their love was further complicated by outside forces. Entertaining.

This book is steamy and amazing and will push your boundaries and leave you breathless!
I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing, and the ability that the author had to tell me a story that had me wanting this book to go on and on.

I always think that forbidden kind of books are something different and extraordinary at the same time, because there ir always this chemistry that is denied and that chemistry is the one that most of the time wins.

This was a decent paranormal romance, reverse harem. Nice and steamy, with a strong FMC. With some force proximity themes it was bound for secrets to come out.
This book was well written, though I think the author could have given the characters a bit more depth. But that would be my only complaint.
