Aura has found herself in a whole new world and claimed by an Alpha who never wanted a mate. She wants to run, until his touch inflames her senses and compels her to submit to him.
Castor is the reformer Prince, beloved by his subject's for his progressive ideas about the equality of all dynamics. But in secret, he yearns to dominate the Omega that he claimed against his better judgment.
And the fire between them threatens to consume them both.
Alpha's Corruption is the fifth book in Omegas of Pandora series and immediately follows the events of the previous installment.
Lillian Sable writes erotic romances and is the author of The Dollhouse series. She is a former office-worker who spent more time fantasizing and daydreaming than doing her actual job. She started writing her fantasies down and turned her dreams into reality.
Short, fun and fast read but I'm so into Castor and Aura's story. They both deny their inner self and are convinced that they can overcome their basic dynamic. They start to learn that they cannot fight who they are and the bond that they share. These Omegaverse books are so much fun. ["br"]>
This one made my heart hurt. Aura and Castor made me alternate between wanting to hug them and punch them. Lots if feels to go with your omega/aloha knotting in this one. And the cliffhanger made me yell at my iPad...
I'm very glad she decided to leave in the end, just because I want Castor to feel the helplessness he made her feel when she couldn't even confide in him in the end. To know that the only way to continue on with her life, one that wasn't always surrounded by the fact that he's going to marry someone else in a matter of days, was to save herself without his help.
I don't know where this will take us following the next release, but hopefully Castor can redeem himself in her eyes. Selfishly keeping her to himself with the intention to marry someone else and do nothing but leaving her in that harem is not the way to go about it.

I was very happy when Aura finally made the decision she did, even though it ended in a cliffhanger. I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of Castor right now.
god.....okay its safe to say that i liked the first book of castor and aura better. Honestly how can castor be so freaking blind????? okay if you already read the book you would know that he's about to marry another gal, and has the balls to ask aura why she's so upset ?? LIKE REALLY?? GAAHH i'm frustrated but also i want to know the next chapter for these two lovers. I really wish that castor would learn his lesson.
Aura and Castor's story now move to Castor's kingdom, and it's interesting to see how the two characters change and adjust to the situation. Castor's story shows how he's a prisoner of his own politics and history, and Aura, who has to navigate in a new world where she is basically Castor's dirty little secret. It's so sad to see how Castor denies Aura the way his own mother was denied.
Overall, I enjoyed book #5 and how it moves into the world of the palace and of the Omega harem. I also loved how they moved Legion into the Council, as I think he could be a smart ally with a different viewpoint from the Prince. However, I did struggle to see Legion's motives and manipulations, first in advocating for the citizenship bill, what Legion's views are for the increase in Omegas in the population, and why Legion would help Aura escape. The only thing I can think of is that he thought letting taste the dangers of escape may help Aura settle down as an Omega and teach Castor to value his mate. Bringing in Ianthe was also a nice visit, although it was strange to see how settled she was. You would have never guessed how rebellious she once was.
There were some contradictions in this book and the next, with the implant being from Viori and Castor stating at first that he didn't know where Aura went and then later saying he knew where Aura was (some of this is in book #5 and #6).
I thought Legion was bad with his high-handedness and dominating ways when it came to his need for Ianthe, but Castor broke my heart in this book. His utter callousness and cold-hearted attitude toward Aura was hard to take. Legion never lost that bad-boy alpha thing that I love even when he was a jerk, but I really hate Castor right now. Poor Aura, new to this world, to being an Omega, to being a mate and he treats her like a dirty secret. I hope Ms. Sable's makes him pay in the next book. 😈
Every line of this book is drenched in emotional turmoil. I find myself hating Castor for not embracing his Alpha nature and instead hiding Aura away, in his father's harem no less. I was glad to see Ianthe and Legion's appearance in the book. Legion, so far, is the only one that seems to actually have a handle on what is actually happening. Castor seems ignorant and unwilling to make a choice in anything. I hope things work out for Aura.
I have loved all the characters in this series, even though I get a bit frustrated with them at times. I have a love/hate relationship with the cliffhangers at the end of each installment, lol. Can not wait for Aura and Castor's next book. I also enjoy seeing snippets of characters from previous books in the new ones.
I actually like the story and the writing. I gave it only 2 stars because the editing was terrible with numerous errors. Also cliffhangers suck when the book is fairly short to begin with, it’s really one decent sized book split into parts which I find a bit of a ripoff.
Shocked. Anyways, It was really solid Omegaverse with a good and consistent storyline. Also both characters were likeable. I like Aura's character, which I didn't like with first volume (Ianthe).
Castor isn’t my favorite right now. He’s kinda a bumbling idiot letting his morals blind him— he needs some major self reflection and he better fucking make up for how he treated Aura since they got back to the palace. Might change this rating depending on the next book.

I thought I wrote a review for this. I thought the book was excellent and cant wait to see way Castor and his mate get into especially “if” they make it back to the capitol
This Alpha and Omegas' story is full of danger, selfdenial, and drama. The journey they go through is hard and so good to read. Can't wait for what's next.
This cliffhanger leaves me wanting more. I don't understand Prince Castor's self torture but I'm glad Aura is finally doing something to move forward with herself even at the bonds expense.
This book is a painful read and leaves you unsatisfied in the sense that it is not the end... but I look forward to the end so much! Need the last book now!
