So interesting to read about what it’s like in law enforcement over in the UK. You can also tell that this book is totally written by a complete Brit and I love it! Side note, I find it so entertaining how excited Cohen gets about learning to drive the police vehicles 😂 Like a kid on a go-cart track haha My favorite part was reading about what it was like to discover a dead body on scene (a morbid curiosity that I’ve always wondered about,) but Cohen goes over it all. He writes about everything that he’s responded to including petty thefts, vandalism, rapes, domestic disputes, deceased people, drunks, suicide attempts, even being a police officer during a reign of a serial killer! This is a very interesting read and worth it if you’re interested in the life of a law enforcement officer, particularly one on the road. It’s hilarious at times but also completely honest. It’s obviously not perfectly written and contains quite a bit of punctuality errors, but overall it’s like a person having a conversation with you and still worth the read!

Wonderful
Such an informative, eye opening book. At times gritty and raw and others heartwrenching. A real look into the life of a traffic officer and the effect it has on their lives. A must read!
