Renita “Rain” Hopson isn’t looking for love in all the right places, wrong places, or any places when hard times hit and she ends up in Jericho, Maine. All she wants is a job, a roof over her and her son’s heads, and peace. Finally, peace. But can she find all of that, and more, in Jericho?
Heartthrob Robert “Bobby” Sinatra, the bad boy of the Big Daddy Sinatra big clan, isn’t looking for love either. As the mayor of Jericho, he has his hands full and has no interest in putting those hands, or his heart, anywhere else. But when he lays eyes on Rain, everything changes. He wants her. Badly. And what Bobby wants, Bobby gets. Their relationship is a whirlwind, as Bobby goes from a stranger to her rescuer to her lover in no time flat. Rain goes from hands off, to hands all over Bobby, just as fast. But Bobby has a past. And Rain has a lot of pain. And when his past and her pain collide, will their blooming, earnest love survive?

1.0⭐️ First, this could have been a really engaging story about Bobby Sinatra's life past and present. Rain was also quite a likeable character, and I rooted for her, her son and Bobby. Notwithstanding, this had the most atrocious, egregious and conspicuously absent editing that I have really had the displeasure of encountering since this author's last month's offering. The grammatical errors could have been spotted and corrected by a 3rd grader. As I recall, there was not one single, solitary page that did not contain myriad errors. I did not want to break my Kindle, so I did not fling it across the room in frustration.
Now, for some time, I have been pondering this conundrum of mine--do I stay or do I go. I bought Mallory's first book in February 2012. Up to and including this book, that accounts for 80 of her books that I have purchased and read. I really have been torn because I have been so enamored of her characters and did not want to miss one book in the continuing sagas. However, I have been increasingly disenchanted with the obvious grammatical errors and the absence of any noticeable editing in her books. To aid me in making a decision, I thought, OK, if I was in a relationship, and I really, really loved a man, but he was emotionally, psychologically or physically abusive to me, would I stay? NO FUCKING WAY! Moreover, I counted up all of the money I have spent on Mallory's books since 2012, and it is considerable. Do I stay, thinking these issues will get better or do I go knowing that, in fact, these issues have progressively gotten worse.
Folks, this has not been an easy decision for me, and I will mourn the loss. But, my decision has been made. With great sadness, I choose not to stay. I will go. There will be no more Mallory Monroe books for me, a loyal reader, ever again. I am abandoning such sub-par work. So long, Mallory.
That's all I can say. This book was by far one of the better stories. I think it was done right to. I don't think he would have as many books as some Of the other main characters, so to tie it all together in this one book was great. BRAVO!!!!
After reading Teddy Sinatra: The Heat Is On, I felt that I had to re-read Bobby's and Rain's story. The first time I read it, I had just had surgery and a month later my sister was hospitalized and died. I was on very strong painkillers and anxiety medicine. So, I remembered little about it. In another book when Bobby and Rain were mentioned, I didn't remember much about them. After rereading the book, my original review was spot on. It's one of Ms. Monroe's best, unlike several books that she wrote last year. There are obvious differences in the writing of this book and even the latest Daddy's book. I'm ready to read another book starring Bobby and Rain.
This is a new series with the same Sinatras and Gabrinis. This may be a new series but it has the same types of errors. Jolien name changed to Julien is one instance. Talking about Donald and changed name to Bobby in same scene. Examples given to show the same type of careless errors along with same grammar errors. I didn't notice as many but still irritating.
Loved Bobby and Rain and Ayden. Bobby Sinatra is not the same son that I remember from previous books. He's as Alpha as the other Sinatras and Gabrinis. I certainly didn't remember him being involved with Boston's criminal underworld. Rain's and Bobby's past intersecting formed the main plotline. I only wish it was more believable for fans of Ms. Monroe who read all of the books about the Sinatras and Gabrinis. Had you not read previous books then this book was a really good one to start a series. There was plenty of action but not so over the top.
Rain was determined and full of integrity in spite of what she endured in the past - both at the hands of her mother as well as men. She was just what Bobby needed and she fit in with the other strong Sinatra women. Ayden, Rain's thirteen year old son, was a darling and extremely polite. He had seen his mother struggle and realized she was a strong woman and an excellent mother. They deserved to share Bobby's love and the acceptance and love of his family.
The sex was as usual in Ms. Monroe's books - lust then love at first sight. Loved how Mick was always there for his family. Only wish I could have seen more of the Sinatras and Gabrinis than the brief sighting in the Epilogue. I loved the complete ending with a HEA.
OMG!!!!! I loved this story. This was the best I have read since Teddy first book. This book was different but gangster. Just enough. When Mick The Tick walked in I started clapping and talking out loud. Some of the things Bobby said had me laughing and cheering. I loved every thing about this story. Refreshing. Thank you. A must read . Thank you for making my day.
Horrible read. Mallory Monroe did not write this, I really want my money back!
This book was not written by Mallory Monroe. It had so many grammatical errors. I want my money back because the story was confusing and not well written.
I think this story is my favorite Sinatra story. This book showed love, hate, forgiveness and pettiness! Mallory has captured my imagination with this one.
As usual I like to read about this family and the things that they are getting involved in and this was good. I love the family dynamics and of course the characters.
All I can say is that this is one of the best books that Miss Monroe has written. With Bobby when he first sees Rain, it’s like love at first sight. He was determined to see where this relationship was going and I must say it went well. Rain was determined she was going to make a better life for herself and her son, not knowing that mayor Bobby would be her man! Recommend that you read this book, it was great! Can’t wait to see where this relationship goes! Reminds me of Alex and Kari Drakos!
Bobby's story was great. The third of Big Daddy's kids to get a story. I loved it. I was actually waiting for another book about Brent but this one was great. It's nice to see growth with in the characters you have a vested interest in. I have read, with the exception of Dapper Tom, every Sinatra, Gabrini, Reese book and I have loved them all; some more than others. I hope he gets another book but if not his HEA was worth reading. Now on to the next.
This novel caught my attention from the first shoot out. Bobby thinks he is Big Daddy's bad boy. And he is but his heart let's us know he is not a heartless thug like many in the crew he is running with. He protects a mother and child in the wrong car at the wrong time from being killed. With help from his powerful Uncle Mick he gets out of the drug business and goes home to Jericho and Big Daddy.
I like this first instalment of Bobby’s life due to the honesty from all of the characters. Bobby openly admits he was a thug running with his gang doing all sorts of illegal things. However he was a thug with a conscience. A playboy whose past transgressions catch up with him, especially with Rain. It was a very well written book. The pace of how the story developed was steady enough for us readers to absorb the characters feelings. So looking forward to the next book.
I just finished reading this new book by Malloy Monroe. Bobby and Rain were great together, I was happy to read about Bobby. He took care of buisness. Ayden was a well mannered young man. I hope to read about Tony soon.
This was a great story line don't know where you keep getting them but I'm glad you're sharing them with us. I hope you have other because this once a month in killing me.
I have not read all her books, but I do kno w this I LOVE THE SINATRAS. Mallory is simply the best. I woul like to read more about Brent, but Bobby's story was great and hope to read more him and Rain. I can't get enough.
Bobby and Rain aka Sunny Sinatra, my new favorite couple. This story was a good one with a few hiccups with the typos that seems to plague all the books by this author. She needs to get a new Editor. Because it's annoying when you're knee deep into the story and BAM!!! A Damn typo!!! That's why I 'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Looking forward to the next installment. Nick The Tick Sinatra rules as usual. I love when he shows up in these stories. Because he knows how to get things done right. Gotta love him! Bobby and the newly Mrs Sunny Sinatra are a force to recon with. He is such a take charge kind of guy. I love the way he took care of Sunny aka Rain, and her son Ayden. Too bad they aren't any guys like him in real life.
A Very Good and Sweet Interracial Romantic Thriller
Bobby Sinatra: In All the Wrong Places ( The Rage to Romance Series Book 1) is a very good and sweet interracial romantic thriller that earned a rating of four stars. This book is exciting as Bobby Sinatra fall instantly in love with Renita Hopson. Reno ha is a single mother of a thirteen year old son. The couple have to overcome a lot of obstacles to find their true love. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys reading very good romantic thrillers.
Mallory wrote a sweet romance that was filled with drama from Bobby and Rain's past. The plot was well executed as usual for Mallory. I almost figured out the "who done it." I had the right group but the wrong person. I knew Capecchi was not involved, that would have been too easy. I also figured out Dance and Moby were involved but not for the reason I originally thought. Miss Monroe can really weave a mysterious drama.
We get to see Bobby's early life in this book. He truly is his Uncle Mick's nephew. I just love how Bobby and Rain came together. Neither one of them knew why they were so attracted to each other. Bobby kept asking himself "what is it about her?" Rain could not figure out why a man from Bobby's status wanted her of all people. She'd never in her life been treated by a man like the way Bobby treated her. She'd been mistreated by other men and her mother, dropped out of school at 177 to have Ayden and spent all of her time trying to take care of her son. Bobby liked the fact that Rain had more integrity and street smarts than any other woman he was ever involved with. And Ayden, that boy was wise beyond his 13 years and got his mother to see things differently through his wisdom.
I always love to read how Uncle Mick the Tick rides in to help the family when they need him. The love that Big Daddy shows his family is just heartwarming. He and Jenae accepted Rain and Ayden with open arms. They just wanted Bobby to be happy and it was long overdue for him. Renita "Rain" Hopson" came into his life just in time, and she fit in so very well. I'm so glad that Rain became Bobby's Sunshine so they could ride off into their own HEA. She is no longer anybody's Rain, she is now Bobby's Sunny.
Just WOW !!! This is the golden gem so far. Yes you need a better editor. May be they get too hot reading these stories. I know my mind jumps on its own sometimes. I catch the typo's but that's not going to stop me . I'm too invested in this clan. Bobby is sweet ,honest and just enough gangsta when he needs to be. My heart was racing when he found out that he was there when Aiden was shot. I was screaming RUN AFTER HIM RAIN!!!. Thank goodness her son immediately told her that Bobby was the miracle that kept them from being killed. And the chick with the plastic surgery was just wack. I started with Big Daddy's story so I loved that we finally see some of the childhood back story. I am going back to read Mick's story. I just love him and how he protects all the family. When he comes in the story you s%$ just got real.
I’ve been seeing so many Sinatra stories and hadn’t got to read any of this author’s work. Finally got around to reading this book and I’m so glad I did. I love the self reflective nature of the writing and the way Rain and Bobby were so honest with each other. And now I’ve got a whole new universe to explore. I’m not sure what order the other stories that are not in this series goes but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. I’ve got a new author (for me) to follow. yippee
This book seemed little rushed to me. Also, I don't know if the many grammatical errors were on purpose or a reflection of the two characters. Either way,I found it distracting. This quickie wedding doesn't make sense to me. All the other Sinatra and Gabrini men may fall hard b don't marry this fast. I feel cheated out of a full story.
I must admit I didn't know I would have liked Bobby's book. I just read it after it has been in my library for months. What can I say Bobby won me over and I love him. Ms. Mallory wrote Rain to be the perfect match for Bobby who I believe turned out to be his "Sunny" redeemer. Of course Mick who will always be my favourite Sinatra had to make an appearance along with Big Daddy my next favorite.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope you many more bwwm/wmbw titles. Your characters are so real and relatable plus your themes and topics are in keeping with currents events and issues of today. Lastly please write about not so beautiful, females who do not have perfect bodies or skin who the guy falls far you know he falls for their inner beauty.
