What an absolute thrill!!!!!

I read this book 3 times faster than the first!!!!! The twists and turns this mystery takes really keeps you on your toes. Just when you think you have something figured out, you don’t. I really want Prudence to tell her friends THAT SHE IS NOT OLD!!!! I love that she methodically and logically thought her way through the issues. She never gave up!!!! On to book 3!!!!!!!!

Medium Clairvoyant

Read the first in the series and then immediately downloaded the second. I've already got the third. Great series! Hoping there will be more to come.

Prudence Wallflower connects the dead with their living loved ones. She's never seen a ghost until the ghost of a handsome police detective comes forward. Can she help him solve his last case and his own murder so he can move on?

The second book with clairvoyant medium Prudence Wallflower is as entertaining as the first book. Prudence had to deal with some personal problems. I have to say I thoroughly dislike her friend Constance. She is rude and just plain ridiculous. There’s nothing redeeming about this character. Anyway, Prudence is losing bookings and she’s trying to help her gravely wounded police officer friend. It’s a good story. I think you’ll like it.

Prudence misses Levi her ghost friend and wonders what life would have in store for a person and a ghost. Levi appears and explains he’s in a coma in a safe house and is afraid his partner will come and kill him. Prudence sets off to find Levi and the safe house. Her zany friends keep interrupting but Prudence is determined.

Loved this book and look forward to more

Lighthearted and fun!

This series is fun to read! Prudence is funny and pretty gutsy! Nice to read about a middle-aged woman instead of the normal 28 to 30 beautiful women you always expect to read about! I will be reading more from Morgan's for sure!

An enjoyable read. Prudence's ghost friend is fading, with 2 murders for her to investigate things are becoming more dangerous for her as she gets closer to the truth. Her friends poor attempt at finding a man for Prudence In Josh who is very distasteful.

At the end of the first book Alum (a ghost) tells Prudence he is alive! WOW! Didn't see that coming. So this book picks up where the first one left off. and Prudence finds out Alum is in a safe house so no one can harm him as he is in a coma. Now that he is coming out of the coma it is harder and harder for him to go to Prudence. She feels the pressure to find Alum before his former partner (who believes he killed Alum) finds out he is alive and goes to finish the job. Prudence proves herself to be a good detective as well as clairvoyant medium. She spends days looking and talking to people involved. Another policeman who was guarding Alum is murdered at the safe house, and not only does Prudence solve the mystery, but she eventually finds the safe house only to see Alum's former partner walk into his room alone!

Morgana has a way of both making you nervous and giving you confidence in her characters. As in the first book, Prudence's three annoying friends interfere and sometimes keep Prudence from doing what she wants as far as Alum is concerned. The story is compelling and moves along quickly without feeling rushed or hurried in any way. It was a great second book that leaves me looking forward to the third book and wondering what surprises will be in store for Prudence in it. Can't wait to read it!

Great Book!
This is a great book; this is the second book in The Middle-aged Ghost Whisperer book series by Morgana Best. I love this series, Prudence Wallflower is a clairvoyant medium who has been touring the country making live appearance helping people connect with their deceased loved ones. Alum Mullein has been appearing to Prudence whom she believes is a ghost. When she finds out the truth she sets out to help him. If you are looking for a great romantic mystery then you need to read this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Excellent book

I do enjoyed the first book in this series that I could hardly wait for the second! I was not disappointed, in fact this book may have been even a bit better than the first. I adore Prudence Wallflower and am so glad that Morgana Best did not leave us totally hanging at the end of the story. I highly recommend this series (only 2 so far) to anyone who likes the paranormal mystery with a small side of romance.

Cozy mystery fun!

Prudence is a clairvoyant medium who speaks to the dead but then found she had a connection to a comatose policeman. Thru that connection she sets out to help him catch the person who tried to kill him. She solves a couple of murders, dodges a couple of unwanted suitors, tolerates 3 rather intrusive friends while drinks lots of coffee. I've enjoyed the first 2 books of this series. Looking forward to book 3.

Refreshing

I think this book is good for all ages, of course, if you are middle-aged yourself you might relate to it more. I like that it's not your typical love story and I sure hope there is another book in this series. I would love to see how the relationship evolves, I would love her friends to stop nagging her to get a man and I would like to see her start working with the police as her new career. Please, let there be another book.

A light hearted cozy with all sorts of ups and downs. Prudence tries to find the body of her comatose "boyfriend" while contending with 3 very well meaning friends. I agree with the boyfriend - dump the girl friends. Very well written as the second in the series! A giggle or 2 smattered throughout keeps your attention.

My favorite clairvoyant medium is back, and so are her frustrating friends. Life is not going terribly well for her right now; bookings are drying up and she has no other marketable skills, the spirit she met in the last book is not actually dead yet, but is in mortal danger. It's really a good mystery, full of suspense and plot twists and humor!

I loved the first book and couldn't wait for this one especially with the cliff hanger from book 1. And let me tell you this one did not disappoint. I loved it from the first page to the last. Oh and the ending is awesome! I can't wait to see what happens next. 5/5 Bloody Fangs
