این سایتی که دارم ازش مانگا میخونم برا خوندن مانگا با اسامی چینی بسیار نامناسبه. اول هر ولوم باید دوباره ریست شم بابت اسم ها چون کلا اسم ها یه چیز دیگه میشن.

اینکه تلاش می‌کنه یه سری استراتژی جنگ رو تو مانگاها توضیح بده هم خیلی جالبه.

Oh yeah, I love war tactics! I'm amazed at the research this mangaka had done, never diminish mangaka or manga, it is definitely a spectacular form of art that deserve its own place in the world.

Ein neuer Arc beginnt und wir werden direkt wieder in die nächste Schlacht geworfen. Und gleich auf der ersten Seite werden wir daran erinnert, warum Kingdom so gut ist: Die Köpfe rollen wieder. 😂
Aber es geht natürlich nicht nur um Gore. Es gibt SO viel Taktik. Wir wollen China vereinen und dafür müssen wir nun mal Schlachten gewinnen. Und dieser Band liefert uns gefühlt einen Crashkurs darin, wie man einen Krieg führt bzw. wie man eine Schlacht überlebt. Und warum das nicht unbedingt dasselbe ist. 👀
Plotmäßig passiert vielleicht gar nicht sooo viel, dafür gibt’s Schlachten, Kämpfe, Taktik und jede Menge Pläne und Infografiken. Also genau mein Ding. 🙌🏻🤓
Und Xin… ich liebe diesen Charakter einfach. Er schreckt vor nichts zurück, wenn es um sein Ziel geht.
Was ich an Kingdom aber wirklich besonders liebe: Es sind nicht nur die Hauptcharaktere, die glänzen. Auch die Nebencharaktere bekommen immer wieder ihre Momente und plötzlich fiebert man mit Leuten mit, von denen man fünf Kapitel vorher noch dachte „joa, okay“. 😭
Ich liebe einfach alles an dieser Reihe. Die Story. Die Charaktere. Die Schlachten. Die Taktik. Und dieses Gefühl, dass wir gerade mal am Anfang von etwas riesigem stehen.

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich die Reihe einfach back to back durchlesen. Ohne Pause. 😅

A new arc starts and we’re thrown straight into another battle. And right from the first page, we’re reminded why Kingdom is so good: heads are rolling again. 😂

But it’s not just gore (although… there’s plenty of that lol). There’s so much strategy. We’re trying to unite China, and to do that, we kinda have to win some battles. And this volume basically gives us a crash course in how to wage a war. Or, more importantly, how to survive a battle. And why those two things aren’t necessarily the same. 👀

There isn’t a ton of plot in this one, but honestly? I don’t even care. Give me the battles. Give me the tactics. Give me the diagrams showing who is attacking from where. I’m happy. 🙌🏻🤓
And Xin!! I just really love this guy. He’s so determined and will literally do whatever it takes to reach his goal.

Also, one of my favorite things about Kingdom is how even the side characters get their moments. They don’t just feel like background characters. They actually get to shine, and somehow I end up caring about ALL of them. 😭
I just love this series so much. The story, the characters, the battles, the strategy… EVERYTHING. And the fact that this is all just the beginning of something huge.

If I could, I’d just binge the entire series back to back. No sleep. No breaks. Just Kingdom. 😂

(4.25) Ça me fait beaucoup trop plaisir de me replonger dans ce manga ! J'avais déjà lu ce volume, et sans doute aussi le suivant, mais m'étant interrompu en plein milieu d'une bataille il était assez difficile de savoir où reprendre. Toujours amoureuse des dessins. On a énormément d'action et les différentes stratégies sont toujours un plaisir à découvrir. J'ai vu il y a quelques jours les épisodes de l'animé qui correspondaient au début de cet arc et c'est fou à quel point le manga fait tout mieux en terme de développement.

Al momento ho preferito il prologo, cioè i primi 5 volumi ma anche questo è un concentrato di epica, pathos, colpi di scena e disegni e scrittura incredibili.

Reading Kingdom has been such a great experience, and I’m so happy that I get to follow the series as its official English translations release.

There are some truly amazing war moments in this volume. It’s pretty much non-stop action, with some brilliantly drawn war scenes. Xin continues to surprise me with how naturally strong he is.

There was an unfortunate lack of Diao in this volume, but at least there is a bonus chapter featuring her at the end 😅

Sans aucun doute un de mes tomes favoris de ce manga, entre les combats vraiment bien dessinés (et c'était il y a quelques années déjà), les exploits de Shin ou encore Heki et Baku Koshin, deux commandants si opposés dont le second nous est d'abord présentés comme un homme impitoyable, presque exécrable, mais qui s'avère à la fin être un homme qui fait à la guerre à sa manière, rude et brutal mais qui ne considère pas ses hommes comme des moins que rien comme on aurait eu tendance à la penser au début. Sa mort est phénoménale, dans l'honneur et la bravoure du guerrier qu'il a toujours prétendu être.

Kingdom 6 depicts a literal uphill battle in which the actions of a small unit rippled through and changed the battlefield. The leader of this advance, Fu Hu Shen (縛虎申), represents an unwavering determination to achieve victory at all costs: every sacrifice is meaningful if the price to pay is victory.

The military tactics and diagrams in this arc are really fascinating! I feel that the battles themselves could be paced more efficiently. Also—see my last review, but the Shonen-isms bring it down a couple stars for me.

Storymässig passiert hier nicht sonderlich viel, der ganze Band spielt im großen und ganzen auf dem Schlachtfeld.

From the opening scene of the story, and the main character's goal in life, one gets the impression that this would all be about war. It hasn't been about war so far, not really. Just a bit of a skirmish in a castle to depose one ruler and install another.

But here, now we're getting there. Things are really picking up - there's a whole order of magnitude of people and bloodshed involved. Good mixture of berserk charges and clever strategy. Xin showing off that he's got more going for him than guts and swordsmanship: he can shout hard and inspire good and get orders across. Already gathering up some men for his own army to come. And bring down a whole chariot by himself, that's good too.

But he's still just a little guy. Commanders and generals, they carry the story. This Duke Biao fellow is something else: he looks crazy and I kind of already like him.

I like that the action in this volume is all about the greater tactics of the war and how units move, with our point of view coming from characters within the army struggling to survive. You see their desperation, the losses, the bloodshed... how desperate they are. This volume has a lot of action but rather than having an exciting fight with complex sword movements, it's this bigger picture of masses of people moving and killing and dying. Shin is exceptional and does main character things, but despite turning the tides of several battles it doesn't feel like he's winning this on his own- the strategists moving everyone, the sheer numbers of soldiers required to follow through, Shin does a lot (almost unbelievably so) but rather than focusing purely on his heroics the mangaka wants you to see how Shin's actions affect the overall battle strategy of the entire army.
