This one chapter is so brief that there isn't very much to say, which isn't necessarily a good thing. I don't know why multiple chapters weren't released together.

Characterization is not quite there yet at this point, so from my brief glimpse, I didn't like the dark haired character. Also, I felt like the art work was subpar. Backgrounds were minimal. The plot already seems a little predictable as well.

My brief glimpse into this series doesn't quite endear me into reading more.

I received this as a free download that was listed in an email that highlights free and discounted books. This download only included the first chapter and it was not enough! The story is interesting and I greatly enjoyed the characters so far. I look forward to acquiring the full first volume of this book. Worth a read if the synopsis interests you!
