Written for both novice and experienced grantwriters, the workbook is filled with practical advice and illustrative examples, including Once the workbook exercises are completed, your organization will have a fully developed grant proposal.
Great car chase scene at the end; stuff blowing up, some great sex scenes.
I am totally making that up.
This book is a terrific basic grant writing book. Each of the chapters is short--like three pages--and introduces a basic grant writing concept. Then, there is a work sheet at the end of each chapter (wh)ich is also on an enclosed CD ROM in MS Word format) that you can fill out about your own project. Work your way through the book carefully and you've compiled all the data you need to write a grant application to a private foundation. Woo hoo!
The drawback is it's so straightforward that you might be in a situation that you need more data, which is why I recommend using this book in conjunction with Karch and Fox's 'The Only Grant Writing Book You'll Ever Need."
