It’s finally here. The week of Emma and Billy’s long-awaited wedding has arrived. There’s just one problem: a dead body has turned up and half the wedding party are suspects.
Can Emma use her ghost whispering powers to solve one last crime and still make it to the church in time for her vows? Or will the big day end in tragedy?
Blythe Baker is a thirty-something bottle redhead from the South Central part of the country. When she’s not slinging words and creating new worlds and characters, she’s acting as chauffeur to her children and head groomer to her household of beloved pets.
Blythe enjoys long walks with her dog on sweaty days, grubbing in her flower garden, cooking, and ruthlessly de-cluttering her overcrowded home. She also likes binge-watching mystery shows on TV and burying herself in books about murder.
They're palette cleanser and the perfect reads if you need to give your brain a break but i wish they were more. If not in complexity and depth, at least in setting description and character's development.
What disappointed me the most was the relationship between our mc and Billy, it felt so underwhelming and for the love of god who marries someone without ever having lived with them ?!
I read previously the Mountain Magic Mysteries series by the same author and i think i prefer it to Ozark Ghost Hunter.
Baker Bread #8 Ozark Ghost Hunter #8 The final in the series sees our intrepid hero get married and of course get into mortal danger and save the day. A fun series comes to an end, and even though there were some repetitive elements and I was over her nearly dying from the villain's hands in every single outing, the characters and the local setting. I'll look for the other series she has written.
Emma is once again thrown into a murder investigation and this time, it’s personal. Her wedding is coming up and the the wedding planner has been murderer. It was a fun book with a great mystery and I love following Emma around, solving crimes.
It's so exciting! Emma and Billy are getting married, but...their desired church burns down the week before the wedding. The wedding planner finds another venue that will work out perfectly, but then, two days before the wedding, the planner dies in a traffic accident. What more could go wrong? Will the wedding actually be held? Fun.This book is the final one in the series.
Wow best book of all. Easy read very entertaining and enjoyable experience. The author out did herself. I recommend this book and series to all my friends and family. Happy Reading! I say keep reading the next series it's wonderful.
Finally Emma and Billy are married! As always, the characters are well developed and the conversations flow naturally. The plot progresses at a good pace with twists and turns. Can't wait for the next installment!
Think I have read all the books in this series and truly enjoyed them. I will recommend them to all my friends. I am sure the goat will follow her to her new home with a glad welcome but a new bed. Well done Miss Baker, looking forward to the next series
Emma and Billy finally get married. The wedding planner is murdered and Emma has to find the killer to keep her ghost from joining them on their honeymoon.
I have so very much enjoyed this entire series. I’m sad to have it end but it is a very satisfactory conclusion. I guess I need to delve into Faerywood Falls next.
I have read every book in the series and wasn't disappointed. Emma always found herself thrust into the middle of a murder investigation and solving it for the Sheriff Tucker.
