Kaleb Banning Kellum, better known as K. Banning Kellum is a writer and documentary actor from New Orleans, LA.

In 2004 Kellum stared in the pilot of Ghost Detectives, a documentary on haunted New Orleans landmarks produced by October Productions. The pilot was never aired. However, later that year Kellum worked with Animal Planet and appeared on The Most Extreme Super Sharks, portraying himself once more. Kellum also worked with local New Orleans networks in investigating the "vampire" subculture that was popular in during the early 2000's, working briefly with now Louisiana House of Representative member, Helena Moreno.

In 2014, Kellum shifted his focus to writing. Kellum's published work includes Gris Gris ad Juju: A New Orleans Horror Lagniappe. Kellum's work also appears in various anthologies and collections containing works from multiple authors. Kellum's work is featured in The Creepypasta Collection: Volume 2 (Arranged by MrCreepypasta) and We Go Bump: Volume 3 (Arranged by ClericOfMadness.)

Kellum collaborates with several writing platforms in an official capacity. He works as content judge for Sweek Stories, responsible for judging a portion of entries in their monthly flash-fiction contests. Kellum is an article writer for CritqueMe, an emerging resource for authors being developed by Gabrielle Schaefer on Medium.com.
