*A Foolish Love Story* Uniquely Lashay Carmon Wells is a church-going, good girl. She has been living a great life under the lord and her parents for as long as she can remember. Seeing the life everyone around her is living from her best friend Peaches Greene to her heartfelt crush Kane Smart, and his best friend J.C. Carter, she decided that the church life is not the life for her anymore. At age 21 she makes a life-changing decision to leave home and the church for good. On the other hand, seeing her best friend Peaches working at the hottest strip club in Duval called Rock Bottom's and she seems to be living it up Carmon wants in. *God Got Me* Miss Dee, Derica Ringo Amber Long walked into St. Luke's Baptist Church with a heavy heart that Easter Sunday morning. Just a week ago her world came crashing down! Suicidal thoughts and depression riddled her thoughts after the devastating news she received. Get encaptured in this life-changing story, and remember when no one else has you God got you. *Escaping the Demons within Him* Chey Tibbitts Heat looked up after I asked that question and got serious, "I've been in some trouble in my time. Actually, I'm currently on probation after serving two years upstate." Not really alarmed by his confession because my family is filled with criminals and that doesn't necessarily make them bad people, they just made poor choices. " What were your charges?" I asked, because if they were something to do with harming a child or rape then I was getting up and walking out "Robbery and holding someone against their will but I'd rather get into specific details later. Truthfully going to jail saved my life and reconnected me with God, so in a way, I have no regrets."

3 great tales!!

I just finished 3 stories that made my soul scream in a good way! Second story was the closest to my heart. I didnt end up like her or take actions like her. But I turned the blind eye to many times and lost myself. She wasn't wrong for loving him she just couldn't love him enough for him to do right or love her the ways she deserved. My heart hurts for her son as well. Kids are so affected by things we as parents don't think the see. First story show people don't care about no one but themselves. Alisha felt entitled to kane's heart even if Carmon had it. The last story was a new author for me and she did an amazing job!! Her story shows you need to check out who you with and if someone close to you gives you a slight warning dont mess with a person please do and pay attention to all red flags. Check out what happened in all 3 of these great stories.

Theses 3 stories were so good. I can’t wait to read part 2.
I hope Alishia didn’t trap Kane. He already told her he could only be her friend. Carmon is who he desires.
In the second story Amber has gone off the deep end due to her husband’s numerous infidelities. Her son is also in a world of trouble because of his actions.
Lastly, Jessica should’ve listened to the numerous warnings about Heat.

What?

I selected this book because it's the origination of a character in a different book I was about to start. Go to the beginning, right? Well I suffered through this - amateurish writing and poor time lines. No character development; actually the second story wasn't too bad. The third story was terrible. This was something I could have done without. But I'm plunging into part 2, it's gotta get better.

Three separate stories that will inspire readers to keep their eyes on God, instead of the current situation. The common denominator is the awakening on Easter Sunday. If I had to choose my favorite story, it would be the first one by @fancyshay1.

Disclaimer: There were a few errors in the book, but they didn’t take away from the overall message.
