5 star Review Dick (The Private Dick Series #1) by Julie Morgan and Gracen Miller
This is not normally a genre that I would read but I went in with an open mind.
Dick is a paranormal mystery that is a hot, spicy and steamy story. There is Voodoo, murder, shifters and demons within this story and it was entertaining.
Panther shifter Detective Natalia Cortes is called to assist in a murder investigation in New Orleans. When she captures the eye of Sheriff Enzo and demon Nawlins Phuck she knows things are about to get hot and heavy.
As they team up to solve the murder, the twists and turns had me on edge as I tried to guess where the story was going. The suspense, intrigue and romance kepti me riveted and the writing was strong. I have no idea where one author stopped and the other took over.
Cannot wait to see where this series goes.

Everyone Needs a little Demon and Voodoo
This turned out to be a very excellent book to sit down and put your feet up and read. Of course you might not want to read right before bed cause it might cause your dreams to get a little freaky. Talking from experience. Hehe
This was a book that draws you into the dynamics of the character. Every character seems to have their own little style and you can see that come out in the reading.
The romance doesn't just start right away and the characters have to work to get there and you find yourself enjoying the journey. No one likes a wham bam thank you ma'am.

Finding something unexpected
Are you on the lookout for a tough woman who doesn’t take any bunk from anyone? Then this is the book for you. This book is an entertaining read about finding the unexpected when searching for the bad guy. You are going to enjoy the unexpected HEA at the end of this book. The author did a great job of turning NOLA into a supernatural world where the alpha polices his own and the bad guy is unexpected. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Dick is a sexy/fun noir paranormal mystery that is a steamy as New Orleans in the summertime.
Confidence is sexy. Panther shifter Detective Natalia Cortes has confidence in spades. When she is called to assist in a murder investigation in New Orleans she is surrounded by sexy men. As a woman in a man’s world Natalia has lady balls the size of watermelon and takes no shit. But when the sexy cop and the even sexier demon turn their attentions her way she can’t help but be turned on. Now if they could only solver this blasted murder before it happens again.
This book is hot, hot, hot! I can’t wait to see where the authors take us next.

Forget cold shower I need an ice bath... This book has everything suspense, romance, incredible characters and is HOT... This is one big melting pot of paranormals from shifters to demons along with a lot of magic thrown in.. This book flowed so well I could not even tell two different authors co wrote it.. Such an incredible first book for this new series I honestly think it is going to be hard to top it but I believe if anyone can these two amazing authors can.. Can't wait to see what comes next...

This was an amazing book, I loved it from start to finish. I was rooting for Phuck the whole time it was kind of hard not too. This was definitely a must read and I cannot wait to see where the author goes from here.

When i orginally saw this on booksprout i wasnt sure if it really was something i wanted to read. But i do love Julies books so i got it. And boy oh boy am i glad i did. These two Authors have done a wonderful job of this.
Murder, Voodoo , demons, shifters and all play a wonderful part in this awesome story,. As a P.I or a dick as she is called Natalia is called to investigate a murder from none other than Sheriff Enzo. But she comes up against the king of (New Orleans)Nawlins Phuck who is a demon and considers the town his.
Seeing Phuck sets her heart a racing, not to mention Enzo, but after her dreams in the B&B she is seriousl thinking of not one guy but two. They all try and work together as one to find out who the murderer is. There is twists and turns which no one thought that would come about.

Holy cow this book is hot as hell. Well, with a demon what did you expect? I loved the sass of Natalia aka Dick, the lost puppy Enzo, and the take no prisoners Phuck. Oh lets not forget the mysterious Voodoo Mama.
One of Phucks men has been murdered and these three must come together to solve the case. Not everything is as it appears. Oh there are twist in this book so hold on and enjoy the ride. From the beginning you could feel the tension between Natalia, Enzo, and Phuck, which had me wondering how this would play out.
Dick flowed so smoothly that I could not tell which author wrote what part. Can you say awesome teamwork? I loved this book and was HOOKED from the very beginning. Bring on book two!

A whodunnit with a paranormal twist. One of their own, Alexo, is dead and Sheriff Enzo decides to bring in an outsider to help solve the crime. Natalia is a private investigator who shows up at the funeral for Alexo and is not welcome. Not one to shrink her duty, Natalia goes head to head with the leader of group, Phuck, and will not take any of his guff. Surrounded by sexy men and gathering evidence, leads to an interesting pairing that will have the private investigator purring and a bond of trust forming. This is one steamy, well written, intriguing storyline.

**Spoiler Alert (Maybe)**
Holy cow!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Dick. It’s such a freaking great book and what a way to start a series!!
I’m not one to read about threesomes (the spoiler), but holy wow!!! The scenes between P*uck (the self-proclaimed king of New Orleans), Enzo (the sheriff and man that called Natalia in), and Detective Natalia Cortez are beyond hot. Like I need a cigarette after and I’ve never smoked, hot. Natalia rolls into NOLA to help solve a demon murder. It’s not just any ol’ demon that gets permanently dead, it’s one of the king of NOLA’s very own Voodoo Dawg members. You see, this isn’t just your run of the mill paranormal with shifters and demons, it’s also an MC story. But I digress!
Dick (Detective Natalia Cortez to all you that want to keep your b*lls) blows into town to solve this case. She’s smart, gorgeous, and talented. She knows how to solve a case and will do everything in her power to make sure this case is solved. Working with P*uck though is going to be hard, he doesn’t want her on the case, just in his bed. Then you’ve got Enzo, he seems to be a pretty inept sheriff who’s got bigger problems than a dead demon in his morgue and the king of NOLA and his minions on his butt.
Finally, they hit the sheets and it’s H-O-T!! OMG the sweat that pours off just reading those scenes will have you hitting the cold shower many, many times, or your BOB, or your significant other, whatever gets you through.
I love the writing style of both authors, the story’s so well written that you don’t want to leave their world, and the characters, seriously, everyone’s a trip. From Voodoo Mama, to Alexo, to Natalia, Enzo, and finally P*uck, there’s a character for everyone to love.
Best line ever has to go to the vegan question. Have I piqued your interest? Wanna know what the line is? Read the book and laugh for yourself, or spit tea on your kindle like I did (it’s fine btw).

Holy Hotness!!
What a fabulous read!
A sexy engaging romance that checked all my boxes
Natalia was called in by the local sheriff Enzo to help solve a murder case that has the whole town on edge.
Phuck just lost one of his best men.
It shouldn't have been possible. Angry and without any clues he becomes even more frustrated when a Dick on legs tries to take command of the investigation.
Oh, how the mighty will fall.
OMG, this was such a blast!
Natalia is beyond the definition of a firecracker! I loved her 'in your face' attitude. She had no qualms with tossing the truth out there.
Then we have Sheriff Enzo. I have to admit in the beginning he was more like a wet noodle than a sheriff. But never fear his beta does appear. He is the softie in our little trio. As the story progresses he blossoms into his own but there were still times I couldn't help but want to wrap him in emotional bubble wrap.
Then we have Voodoo Mama - she seems a bit touched. Okay fine she might be slightly dangerous, but she is fiercely loyal and protective of those she calls family. Recommend being on her good side and possibly doing the eggshell walk when around her. I'm eager to hear her story we are given some clues that piqued my curious kitten.
Last we have Phuck what can I say I like my bad boys. President, King, Prince. He is the perfect representation of a 'bad boy' with just the right sprinkle of sarcasm mixed with a dash of soft. Though you don't want to cross him because when he is made he makes the hulk look like a wet kitty.
I don't want to give spoilers but if you enjoy your paranormal romances with a touch of mystery a twist of suspense Oh and a whole lot of steam ~ don't pass this up.

I ❤️❤️❤️ this story and here’s that word again I loved detective Natalia Cortes who is a panther shifter she’s also a take no prisoners, sassy, strong and as stubborn as hell kind of woman who’s competing in a man’s world, she is investigating a murder in New Orleans. Sheriff Enzo is a shifter and a drunk he was betrayed by people he thought that he could trust, disgraced and unable to deal with this case he calls in detective Natalia. Then there’s Phuck a demon who has named himself king of New Orleans it was one of his men that was murdered and Phuck goes head to head with the detective but he admires her tenacity so what could go wrong lol?. There’s murder, mystery, suspense, voodoo, 🔥 steamy scenes and so much more in this amazing story it’s a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

One of the brothers of the Voodoo Dawgs' leader is murdered and he wants to find out who did it. The sheriff in New Orleans, Enzo brings in an outsider, Detective Natalia. The Voodoo Dawgs want to deal with this internally but realize that they will soon need Enzo and Natalia's help. Enzo is a shapeshifter, Natalia a shifter and the leader of the Dawgs is none other than one of the Princes of Hell. In searching for the murderer, Enzo's past comes back to haunt him and the three of these characters become close. This was a quick read and I'm excited to see what the next book will bring in this series.

When I found out that Gracen Miller was releasing a new book, I knew I had to get my hands on it. She's become one of my favorite go to authors. She never disappoints.
Dick is a great story filled with action, romance, and fantastic sex scenes. The characters a relatable and emotional.
Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down.
Another five star story from an amazing author and her partner in crime. I'll definitely be looking into Julie Morgan and reading more of her stories.

Who would have thought of a detective series with paranormal characters? Julie Morgan has given me my first mystery series with a panther private investigator, Natalia, a local sheriff who is a dog, Sheriff Enzo, and MC club of demons, and set in the intriguing city of New Orleans. This tale is well-written, suspenseful, with paranormal twists that keep you guessing until the end. The chemistry between our main characters is off the charts hot. I definitely recommend this book.

This novel is hot!
I am one of the bloggers that participated in the release tour for Dick. As soon as I saw that the author's combined a paranormal genre with a motorcycle club, I ran as fast as I could to my nearest retailer and purchased the first installment in the Private Dick series. I was not disappointed either.
This novel was hot 🔥enough to melt my Kindle, the action and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat with anticipation from beginning to end. I can't wait for Enzo's story to come out!

It was a close 4 star but due to my lack of connection to the main characters, I am keeping it a three. I did love the book though and I didn't want to put it down. I did have one character that I would love see get her own book as the next book is one of the other main character's stories. I love VooDoo Mama and want to read more about her and the whys of her character.
Great book and plan on keeping up with the series. Hoping for a connection to characters as I like Miller and Morgan's other works.

I have started to really enjoy the paranormal mystery books that are coming out and let me say this one had me cracking up just with Phuck's name. I loved Natalia she was snarky and refused to take any crap from anyone. With plenty of suspense, intrigue, steamy and spicy romance this was a very entertaining book with an unexpected happy ever after ending.

From shifters to demons and even a prince of Hell the characters in this book have strong personalities that pull readers in and seeking more. From the mystery of who did it to the struggle with what they feel, readers are forced onto a roller coaster of emotions. I highly recommend this book for lovers of mystery, the paranormal and romance because they all dance together so well in the pages of "Dick".

Very Enjoyable. I volunteered to read this book for United Indie Book Blog. Dick: The Private Dick series by Julie Morgan. This book is first I read by this author. I loved Natalia's sass towards everyone. This is one big melting pot of paranormal from shiftier to demon along with a lot of magic. Detective Natalia captures the eyes of Sheriff Enzo and demon Newline Phuck and she knows things are about to get hot and heavy. They made up a team to solve the murder, the twists and turns had me hooked and on the edge. I loved this book and was so very HOOKED since from the very beginning. Bring on book two! Keep up the great and awesome job!

Dick by Julie Morgan is an amazing story that I have read.This is book number one in this amazing start to a brand new series that I have fallen in love with rading and can not wait to read the next book in this series. I loved this book. Who doesn’t want to read an MC book with a supernatural twist. I was hooked from the very first page. This story revolves around 3 characters, Private Dick Natalie, Sheriff Enzo and MC Prez Phuck. This threesome prove that they work well in and out of the bedroom as they come together to solve a murder. There are a few twists and turns which kept me hooked to the very end. I can’t wait for the next book.

Wow... this book is amazingly hot and steamy. There are demons, witches, shifters, a private investigator, the King of NOLA, and one hot sheriff. Put them all together and stir and you have a recipe for one fantastic read!

Book one in the The Private Dick series a book I enjoyed reading. Phuck a Demon is the king of New Orleans, Enzo is the sheriff, and disgraced shifter and when a murder happens in Phuck's M.C. he calls in Detective/Dick Panther shifter Natalia Cortes . This is a great start to the series. I was hooked from the very first line and can’t wait to see what these two wonderful ladies have in store for the next book. There are some amazingly hot scenes so if that is not what you like then this isn’t the book for you and you will be missing out. There are great fight scenes as well. It is a well written and thought out book.

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Julie Morgan; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
