Loved Killian
This is one sexy read. Killian is just perfect. Grace has not had an easy life and has been missing for a few years. This was sort of instant love as Killian has been looking for Grace and once he sets eyes on her he is a goner! A sweet romance follows but it does have its tough moments. I am loving this series.

✯✯5 Slade Filled Stars!!!✯✯
FINALLY!!! I’ve been waiting for Killian Slade’s story since waaaay back since The Bad Boys Of Retribution MC and he’s been around since. When I finished Storm I’d been upset bc Slade was staying behind and joining The Blood Legion MC and becoming Angel’s VP. I’m glad Rie decided to write this MC bc I’ve waited a long time for his story.
Ever since The Blood Legion MC saved Mercy from her horrible family Slade has been on a task to fulfill a promise he made to Mercy and that’s to find her friend Grace and bring her home safe and sound. But, it’s been months and he can’t find anything.
That’s a hard pill for him to swallow. Slade was a Marine and also in the CIA and special forces for awhile. He’s lost people before, seen people die right before his eyes. Him and Bo were kidnapped and tortured almost to death. Slade refuses to loose Grace. He’ll do anything to find her.
When Slade gets a tip on where grace could be he tells no one. He’s not sure what he’s walking into and wants to know everything. Slade walks into the brothel Grace was sold into preparing for the worst and instead got something that confused him more. He’ll do anything to gain Grace’s trust and get her to safety. No matter who he has to call in as backup.
Grace is taking everyday as they come. Her life might not be as bad as it was at The White Lair, but she’s still somebody’s prisoner. She must do what they say.
When Killian Slade walked into her room and didn’t want her to sleep with him but to talk Grace’s nerves spiked. When he mentions Mercy’s name Grace knows she must get him to leave. There’s too many other peoples lives at risk and Grace doesn’t think she’s worth the risk.
Even though she tells him to leave she’s glad he comes back. Even though he’s paying a hefty price just to talk to her. Grace is enjoying her time with Slade even though she knows when she tells him all her secrets he’ll leave and not return.
This story is nonstop from beginning to end. Both Grace and Slade have had terrible pasts and they don’t think they’re worthy of redemption or being loved. They do what they think is best for the other people in their lives even if they get hurt.
Both knows there’s a lot at risk. Grace has her reasons for continuing doing this day after day. Slade might get it but he doesn’t accept it and isn’t afraid to ask for help.
This definitely isn’t a topic that everybody can read. I don’t have any triggers. But, if you do be careful going into this story. Rie wrote grace and Slade’s story right.
Slade has been around for soooo long and you really don’t know much of his story except for what you learn when reading Bo’s story. Slade has always kinda been the man, the myth and the legend. Now you know his story and yet he’s still the man, the myth and definitely the legend.
Can’t wait for the rest of these Blood Legion MC hotties to get their HEA.

4.5*s of angst laden loving!
This is the second book in the series, and I really think that you need to have read book 1 to understand the depth of loyalty that is within both Grace, and Slade. They are amazing characters and I felt that repeatedly throughout this story.
We left the Blood Legion MC having freed the women from the White Lair and helped them to recover and reintegrate into society ... but Grace went missing and Slade has been trying to search her down ever since. He has a background in the Marines and CIA, so he has the skills, but it is taking far longer than he likes, and he fears for what might have befallen her.
He is right to have worried. Grace had been taken and sold. When he does finally find her, he has to pay for her time, and clearly she will not leave and put him or the rest of the BL MC at risk - she does not consider herself worth it. She also has another reason, but she daren't tell him that as it will surely stop him visiting. I love how she is so protective of everyone else, and denying of her own needs. Whilst she has been treated appallingly, she remains a woman of great strength and determination. It was incredibly difficult to imagine what a nightmare she was prepared to live through, in order to keep everyone else safe.
Slade is stumped, but he calls in all the forces that he can to gain Grace her freedom. He also finds out just how evil the man is who has her in his possession, and his actions will save many, not just Grace.
Obviously none of this is smooth easy reading, but I am strongly of the opinion that we should read about stuff that is tough and bites, as that is what makes us appreciate the ease of our lives. Rie Warren certainly knows how to sail very close to how far her readers can go, but it is always worth the risk!

I was given a copy of this book to Read and Review for Wicked Reads.
The second book in this series focuses on Grace, a human trafficking victim and Slade, a MC member with a complicated past. It’s an exciting read and I enjoyed the connection between Slade and Grace.
Slade’s hunt for Mercy’s friend Grace is a little bit obsessive at the start of the book and it’s only when we start to learn about his personal history that the obsession makes sense. I like that Slade has as many dark secrets as Grace does and his conflicted need to protect her is beautiful. I found Grace a more confusing character. Without spoilers, I still don’t understand her motivation or actions at various points in the book. I like her resilience and I had empathy for her situation, but I didn’t ever fully understand her.
Human trafficking is an important topic but I’m not sure it works terribly well in an otherwise light romance/action story. Grace’s character needed more complexity and nuance to be believable but the things that would have made her a more realistic victim/survivor of human trafficking are things that wouldn’t make her a great romantic leading lady. The author skirts the surface of Grace’s experiences, touching on important issues but also setting Grace up for a romantic HEA. I found it difficult to enjoy the romance and sex in this book without considering, like both characters do, the power imbalance between Slade and Grace and the potential for Slade to further exploit Grace. If I don’t think too hard, the book works but I was uneasy with some of the sexual moments that should have been steamy.
My big frustration with this book is that the central conflict feels completely contrived. Without spoilers, I don’t understand what prevented the actions that led to ‘Saving Grace’ happening much sooner. However, like the first book, I really enjoyed the characters in this story. The MC members continue to be quirky and entertaining and I loved Bunny.
This is the second book in this series and probably the fifth book that some of these characters have featured in. I don’t even know where to tell readers to start with Rie Warren’s intertwining series but I think that readers will understand this one if they read it after the first one.

Fantastic addition to the Blood Legion MC series! This book concentrates on Killian Slade and Grace but Mercy Angel’s woman asks Slade to find Grace because she was being held captive by the White Lair also and she disappears without a trace. When Slade finally find Grace it’s not where he expected her or under the circumstances he found her in. Grace is a really, really strong woman because all of the things the White Lair has put her through and then her current situation, I’m just in awe of how strong Grace really is. At the point when Killian finds her she is lost and confused bent but not broken. I couldn’t put this book down, it held me captive from the first page. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next in the series!

A terrific read that drew me in. Grace was left behind when Mercy was rescued and she has suffered terrible experiences ever since, until Slade finds her....trouble is she doesn’t want to be found. Even though she’s owned and controlled, used and abused, she’s scared and confused. Slade realizes her confusion is holding her back and will not stop at anything to make her safe and bring some happiness back into her life.
A wonderful story. Full of thrills and excitement with surprising emotions too. Great writing that held me in suspense right until the end. A must read!

Slade has promised himself to keep Grace safe and if in doing so, he changes the face of New Orleans forever so be it.
I fell in love with both Grace and Slade and can't wait for the next book in the series.

Save Grace was an awesome addition to Rie Warren's new MC series Blood Legion. Killian Slade has made appearances in a few of Rie's previous books but you do not have to have read them to read this one. I completely fell in love with Killian from the start with his determination to find and save Grace. There is some dark subject matter in this book but it also has hot Alpha males, hilarious man-bun wearing hipsters and tough women who can overcome hard lives. I highly recommend this book and series.

What a heart-wrenching story this was! The story had you engrossed from the very first pages. The story was full of pain and acceptance but, one man fought for both of them and for the women he loved to be free, and failing was not an option.
Killian and Grace had one of the oddest courtships that I have read about but, it was cute in an endearing sort of way as Killian fought to gain Grace's trust to get her out of the life she is currently living because poor Grace was traded and sold into sexual slavery yet again.
The Grace we met in book one where Grace was forced to whore herself by a group of horrible people but, she also got caught up in the war between the MC and White Lair and just disappeared but, not forgotten but, yet again Grace has been thrown into yet again another sick game her master is now playing but, this time around she might not survive once it's played out.
I loved Grace and Killian together as Killian wore his heart on his sleeve the entire time and they had amazing chemistry together. My heart bleeds for Grace time and time again not only for what she had survived so far but, for the pain that was coming her way yet again.
Killian and Grace had chemistry but, they also had an amazing friendship that developed into so much more. We loved that Killian courted Grace in the only way he could even if it was a bit unconventional but it was a bunch of firsts for Grace her first kiss, first date, and first love, and something that was freely given between a couple who genuinely cared for one another.
Overall the story was full of suspense and had drama villainous characters and one whooping big surprise that you never saw coming. The story was one big emotional roller coaster for both the reader and its characters. We enjoyed it.
We are enjoying this series and looking forward to our next read.

Despite this being one of my favorite genres, each MC and author are so very different. Having never read Rie Warren, I didn't know what to expect with the Blood Legions MC but I fell in love. My favorite MCs are the rebels WITH a cause and boy does Killian have a cause!
Killian's on a mission to disrupt every sex trafficking ring in Louisiana, save every woman he can and give them a future; his firebrand in this mission is a woman named Grace. After barely saving his friend, Mercy, from the unspeakable trauma she endured at the hands of a New Nazi group, Killian vows to find the woman she befriended inside. When he learns she was sold as a prostitute to a brothel in NOLA, the former Force Recon / ex-CIA operative goes hunting.
Grace stopped believing in fairytales and heroes a long time ago and has resolved herself to her abusive fate. So when Killian shows up determined to "save" her, she knows it'll never work out. Considering herself beyond redemption and not wanting anyone else to get hurt, especially the innocent, she'll sacrifice herself. But despite all the atrocities she's endured at the hands of men, she finds herself inexplicably attracted to Killian. Even knowing she can never truly have him, it can't hurt to finally give herself a piece of happiness, right?
This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. Killian and Grace have both tragic and triumphant backstories and it made me root for their HEA even more. The story is a slow build but the love isn't; with almost an insta-love quality, you feel their connection from their first interaction. While I did struggle with the sex trafficking aspect (especially given the reality of it these days) and felt the love story would've been harder won in real life, I genuinely loved this story. I especially loved the madam character and the dynamics between the brothers of the MC; they were quite welcome levity. Can't wait to go back and read Mercy's story!

This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. Killian and Grace have both tragic and triumphant backstories and it made me root for their HEA even more. The story is a slow build but the love isn't; with almost an insta-love quality, you feel their connection from their first interaction. While I did struggle with the sex trafficking aspect (especially given the reality of it these days) and felt the love story would've been harder won in real life, I genuinely loved this story. I especially loved the madam character and the dynamics between the brothers of the MC; they were quite welcome levity. Can't wait to go back and read Mercy's story!

Despite this being one of my favorite genres, each MC and author are so very different. Having never read Rie Warren, I didn't know what to expect with the Blood Legions MC but I fell in love. My favorite MCs are the rebels WITH a cause and boy does Killian have a cause!

What a terrific addition to this series. If you read book 1 in the series, Cry Mercy, you know that Mercy’s good friend, Grace is missing. The night the Blood Legion, stormed the White Lair and saved Mercy and the other girls being held there, Grace was nowhere to be found. Killian has made it his mission to find her; simply because Mercy asked him to. Killian has hunted for Grace for months. When Killian finally finds her, he is stunned by her beauty and strength. He wants to help her escape and bring her home but Grace has her reasons for staying and won’t accept his help. As for Grace the more the handsome Killian returns to see her, the more her walls cave. But Grace knows she can’t let him help her. Visit after visit Killian is determined to change her mind. But can he? What is holding Grace back, why won’t she accept his help?

Slade is on a mission to find Mercy's friend, Grace, and once he does, he quickly learns that she doesn't want to be found. See, they were victims of human trafficking, and suffered at the hands of the traffickers, so even though Grace wants nothing to do with being rescued, Slade doesn't plan on listening to her. Now, see this is something that I didn't understand about Grace, she was working in a brothel, and yet, she was mad that someone came to get her out of there. And yeah, I know there's Stockholm Syndrome, but still, without giving more away, there was more to it which didn't make sense in my opinion. I mean, there's also some other factors, but again, still confused which made it hard for me to really imprint on her, because this wasn't the only questionable decision that she made. I did keep turning the pages like a crazy person because there were a crap ton of twists that let the f-bombs drop like crazy, especially with Slade on the loose in New Orleans. It kept me on the edge of my seat, as it kept me on the edge of my seat while nothing was too dangerous to him, but I suppose that was due to the past demons as his driving force on top of his burning desire to protect. Anyway, if you want to know if Grace was rescued, you know what to do! One click this baby that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She's the one that got away, or taken away; but no one knew for sure if she was still around, still alive. He promised his brother's woman that he would find her and he wouldn't stop until he did. Miracle of miracles, a tip leads him to a brothel, a tall glammed out woman collects money from him and brings him to a door, behind that door is a woman. She denies that she is his Grace, but when he delivers the information that Mercy is alive and well, he sees it. She can deny all she wants, he knows that she is his Grace.
But this wonderfully written story doesn't end there. No this story is filled with excitement, romance (biker style), intrigue, some sick and twisted stuff going on behind the scenes, and of course there is love. It is also filled with the banter of the bikers and the descriptions for their patrons, and let's not forget old Sol. All of this brings us one great read and a better look into Killian Slade's background; his story, his ghosts.
Fantastic read that will capture your attention and your heart right from the get-go. I highly recommend this book and this series. I can't wait to see which of these rough and tough guys will fall by the charms of a woman.

So happy to get Slade and Grace's story. In the first we get a glimpse at the almost, if not totally, obsessive hunt that Slade goes on for Grace and in this story we get why he feels so obligated to follow through with his promise. We get more of Slade's background and what makes him that man that he is and we get Grace's story. My heart went out to Grace in the first. She was such a strong figure in Mercy's life and did what she could given the situation they were in.
My heart broke when we got toward the end of the first book and found that Grace was nowhere to be found. She was another character I was rooting for and just knew that her book was going to be one that I had to have. I had high expectations and Rie met those wonderfully. She delivered us a story that will have you emotions running rampant. The atrocities that they have both been through in the past and the present is something that will have rage, sadness, heartbreak, love and hope rising to the surface.

3.5 stars. This book is my first by this author.
This book is about Killian and Grace. Killian is a marine who has helped saving woman from sex trafficking. Grace is a woman who he and his team have been trying to find. This is not your typical damsel in distress story. Grace is a very strong heroine who has been through a lot and "plays" by the rules that are made for her. Killian is enamored with Grace and makes it his mission to save her. Their relationship starts out very unconventional, and is a nice slow burn.
Now for the reason for the 3.5 stars... I'm all about reading MC books, but I really didn't get that vibe with this book. Yes we get some of the other brothers, but nothing was really MC related in it. I did enjoy the secondary characters especially Mistress Bunny. I think everyone needs a Mistress Bunny I their corner.
Please don't let my review away you, because I know not everyone likes to read the same things. The storyline had a lot of potential, it just fell short for me.

I adored this book- 4.5 HUGE stars and I received this book in advanced and am posting my honest review!
I started reading Rie Warren after the first book in the Blood Legion MC series and got hooked to the characters, writing and story lines. In this book we finally find out what happened to Grace, Mercy's only friend before she found the MC and Angel.
Slade had promised Mercy that he would find out what happened to Grace and when he did it just ended up confusing him more. This book was not a conventional romance, there is a freaking lot going on here. It also did not seem like a conventional MC either. We know about Blood Legion, but did not really get into the actual lifestyle in this book as much, but that was not an issue for me at all!
This story is about what happens when two people find each other, have an intense attraction but there are so many obstacles in front of them that you would think it was a freaking episode of American Ninja Warrior! There is so much sexual tension and the backstory is pretty freaking great, I cannot wait for the next book!

Rie Warren delivers again - another gritty, raw, hawt MC romance. Can be read as a standalone, but I enjoy reading all the connecting stories. This is the 2nd in the Blood Legion MC series and relates to the Bad Boys of Retribution MC series. Grace's unpleasant past and present day life are no deterrent to Killian as he's determined to save her. His tragic past leaves him no other options. Through all adversity, Killian prevails and proves to Grace that she is worthy of love. Trigger warning for those sensitive to these issues. Grace was definitely someone who needed help, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t strong and determined. She just needed to find a way out of her situation without putting her baby in jeopardy and Killian is just the guy to be able to help. She just has to allow him to help.
Killian and Grace’s relationship starts with a slow burn that turns intense and hot in a very short period of time. They are good for each other. Killian has a heart of gold when it comes to her and her baby and when Grace finally puts her faith in him the sparks fly and they each find their happily ever after, together!

Grace is determined to live her nightmare of a life and protect others, and she does not want rescuing as she feels she is beyond redemption. This is a well written flawless story, which is intriguing, and with twists, angst, drama, and love, which all had me captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I recommend for all MC lovers.

Killian Slade is one tough, stoic dude. Determined to find Mercy's friend Grace who seems to have disappeared into thin air. Once he finds her, how will he save her? And does she want to be saved?
What an intense book! Killian and Grace's journey is full of suspense and passion! I was hooked from the beginning. Twists and turns you won't see coming but will have you on the edge of your seat! You will be rooting for these two so hard. An absolute must read! I loved every single sexy, intense, emotional, and hot word! 5 stars!

Her circumstances are better than Slade expects when he finally finds Grace, but he knows something doesn’t add up about where she is and why she’s staying and he’s up to the challenge to find out what she’s hiding and help her💕
A great story with twists I didn’t see coming, that kept me glued to the pages until the very end. Looking forward to Saint’s story next❣️
