He was a cursed man. A simple touch was all it took to bring any woman to her knees, all except one he discovered.
"They always melt in puddles, always. She didn’t! What the hell?"
This is what attracted him to her immediately, she was immune from his curse, his Midas Touch. Her stark beauty was secondary, at first. This woman presented the possibility of a normal life, something he craved deep down. The only problem was that he was totally clueless about how to win her heart.
"How the hell do I get her to want me? Her kids think I’m a stalker, and she might just think that too. This dating stuff is damn hard! Who knew?"
She was a jaded woman. Divorced with three kids, and a hardened heart. This can happen when the love of your life runs off with the babysitter.
"I should’ve known she was trouble wearing daisy dukes to watch the kids. Freaking hind-sight! That’s sure what my ex had though, her hind in sight!"
The last thing she was interested in was a new man in her life. Especially a scorching hot younger stud with brilliant deep blue eyes and a body made for lust. She knew that he could only be serious trouble for her.
"There is no way I’m going to let a player score on me again. Especially a lunatic. Luckily, I have an all-star defense… my kids!"

B.J. Hardy grew up in a Sin City much different than the one we know today. Cheap restaurants and aging casinos with showrooms booked with performers whose careers were on their last legs littered the strip. As a young teenager running the streets of Vegas, characters were abundant, and this is where his passion for writing began. While the streets of Vegas gave him the characters and helped cultivate his love for writing, the Red Rock Canyon Mountains gave him peace and his love for nature and the outdoors.
After high school, B.J. traveled to the far east and was enamored by not only the landscape, which was the opposite of the Nevada desert but also by the people and the culture. While there, he became intrigued by martial arts and subsequently spent years training which he felt gave him the balance he needed.
If you would like to know more about B.J. Hardy just read his books. His fantasies are in the pages, but you can be sure his nightmares are there too.

Silly, but good fun
There aren't enough romantic leads named Andrew :)
This is a cute spin on the legend of King Midas. Short and sweet. I'll be checking out more of B.J. Hardy's work.

Funny and unique take on an old legend
I absolutely loved BJ Hardy's take on the Greek mythological story of King Midas. It's an original idea, and a heck of a riotous good laugh.
I mean the ability to make women orgasm just with a touch might seem like a blessing to most guys. But to Dru it is anything but. This book was filled with slapstick humor and funny zingers. A great rom/com with a HEA. I loved the banter between Dru and Kelly, and even the funny, albeit sometimes mean, ribbing from her kids. This was my first time reading a book from this author, but it definitely won't be the last.
So if you're looking for a great rom/com that's short, sweet, and with a HEA I suggest you read this one. And be prepared to LMFAO😂😂😂

Be prepared to laugh yourself silly...
What a funny, cute hot story. The Midas Touch had me laughing throughout the book. Guy has a way to make women have an O,just my a touch. Dang I need one of those. Dru persues Kelly as she is immune to this. She does her best to push him away. This book has a few movie references.
The priest having to explain what Dru has, had me laughing the hardest. Or was it the Dirty Christmas Carols..
I highly recommend this book.

Wow
I love the concept of this story. It was so funny at times and then it was hot and steamy. You really pull for an HEA with this couple and I loved the flow and pacing of the story.

Comical
Midas touch is difinately a touch laughter an hijinks. Dru has a curse that most men would want. But when he meets woman that is immune, Dru he finds this very intriguing. I laughed out loud at the banter between characters and enoyed this book.

If you have a stressful day and need something to change your mood, this is the book for you. It is hilarious throughout the book. A delicious read that will put a smile on your face and clear your mind. It’s a romantic comedy with a twist. Imagine a man with a curse, a Midas touch, that makes women turn into crazy lunatics. The mayhem he endures as they stalk him, throw themselves at him, fight over him. All but one woman. Her Immunity to his touch draws him to her. She’s a single mother with kids and wants nothing to do with men. Hold on to your bellies with this story and just enjoy the ride.

DNF at 22 percent. Gonna let this one go because my TBR has too many other books on it to sift through any more of this one.
I'll admit I was totally drawn in by the quirky premise and the older woman/younger man thing. The sexy cover didn't hurt either. But what I read was simplistic, lacked humor, and needed an editor's eye.

Just wasn’t for me.
I can see how some people would enjoy the sex campiness of this book, but I didn’t care for it. It’s a short book, so it might be worth checking it out for yourself if you want a romp that’s a little out of the ordinary with an HEA.
