I'm a middle-aged woman who works in insurance, doesn't have children or pets, can't drive, has lived in Christchurch my entire life, and currently reside a two-minute walk from where I was born.

For some reason, I've developed a rich fantasy life.

I like to write mysteries, some set in my hometown of Christchurch, others ninety minutes up the road in the beautiful township of Hanmer Springs, or in the quasi-fictional town of Pinetar. These mysteries range from hard-hitting psychological thrillers, through to police procedurals, or the lighter adventure of a cozy mystery.

Not the end of the World

I got this set of books cheap to preview and I love them. Think about what you would do if you had no close family or friends,
lost your career that you were very good at and suddenly had eye problems that meant you couldn’t read or write. All this happened to the heroine in our story and she was in constant pain, but she got a new job. Then, she started seeing ghosts of murder victims that demanded her help. It is amazing how true her character is to real people I have know who never give up.

Enjoyable series

This three volume series was enjoyable. Post auto accident where middle age woman loses ability to read gains the ability to see murdered spirits through items sold in antique store. She turns to solving these crimes with the help of some spirit minded friends. A good read.

Can you see Ghosts?

A middle- aged woman, suffering from severe head trauma, now has a gift - she can see ghosts. How she helps solve problems is the meat of this series of light reading books. A fun read, with enough to keep the reader interested.

Charity Shop

I have enjoyed this set of books. While I am not normally one for witches and such, this was a fun change.

Entertaining enough to barely hold my interest. Nothing bad about the books, just sort of takes a while to get the story and ending.

Fun and entertaining

A fun mystery series where the clients and the help come from the other side. The characters are well-developed and the plots have interesting twists.

Of all the books set series, this was my favorite by far. It was the best written and the most interesting.
