The book I needed to read at the right time on my journey to becoming published. So much useful advice, such a witty and interesting read. Cannot recommend this highly enough. I now feel much more confident in putting together a killer submission package and getting my work taken seriously by agents. I will raise a glass to Scott when I get an agent to represent me.
A really enjoyable book. Scott Pack is an excellent engaging writer who explains what the publishing business is like in a fun conversational tone.
It almost makes the industry feel welcoming, in a way and getting your book published possible. But he also doesn't sugarcoat anything and says multiple times that your book will, more than likely, fail to get published or if it does you won't have much success. This mixture was greatly appreciated.
Ultimately it lit in me the desire to write. I hope I can carve some time in my life to do such a thing.
