Before they ever met Kazuma and Aqua, Megumin and her sister Yunyun had a crisis of their own to deal with: a mysterious and dark shadow lurking toward the Crimson Magic Village. Can they overcome this ordeal...? It's the second volume of this amazing KonoSuba spinoff!
It doesn't affect the rating, but I am getting tired of reviewing every individual volume of a manga. So I may quit doing it... of course that affects very few of you I suspect.
Look, it's a spinoff. It is merely OK. If you don't already love all the characters of the spin-off that just makes it harder. While seeing some of Megumin's reasoning for going Explosion is kind of a nice touch, it hardly makes up for the rest of it. On the whole I really don't care much about this series.
Verdict: If you like Megumin or really love Konosuba this may be worth it to you. Check your library, or borrow it from a friend who is one of the above. Save your cash for better books.
