The common bond they all shared was love of the town they lived in. Blossom Lake was a jewel that they only shared with tourists during the summertime. Thelma Patterson had spent her childhood vacations there and decided to move there permanently as a young adult and lived a charmed up life until the summer of 1975. Nothing so horrific had ever happened in their little slice of heaven before, making the town folk unsure of their neighbors and afraid of their own shadows. Everyone was so unnerved by the viciousness of the attacks that they remained oblivious of the secrets, shady deals, and deceptions involved.
