The final book in the Starfire series was everything I knew it could be. The characters evolved in each book and these final chapters show how each have grown into their own. The main H & h (Cassi & Javen), especially as a couple each brought out the best in each other. They supported and created a bond that not only connected to each other but bridge their perspective worlds. I enjoyed this series as a whole because the actions portrayed by those in charge & the terrible shape earth was in, I could sadly see it become realistic in our future. The story followed together, each book leading to this conclusion stayed on point. The path leading to the final confrontation kept you guessing, while questions were answered. The ending wasnt rushed which I really appreciate as many books seem to come to an abrupt conclusion. The epilogue gave a glimpse of the future, enough information so readers can see what direction the characters chose. Bravo Mrs. Penner for creating another fascinating world for us to read.

Summary: This is a rocking conclusion to an incredible and intricate story about love, life, conflict and being willing to make an ultimate sacrifice in the face of annihilation. Cassi is a child of two worlds, Earth and Arcadia. Cassi and her friends face danger and the fight of their life if they stand a chance in saving both worlds.
It was fascinating how the Starfire became some more more then even the people of Arcadia knew. This fast paced and riveting Sci-fi story held me spellbound and the audio-book version brought the characters to life for the reader as the story unfolded.
What I really enjoyed about this series was the resounding call to save the planet. So many people ignore or dismiss the vivid signs of neglect and abuse of the planet. While Earth isn't going to be rejuvenated by an alien crystal (well I mean I GUESS it could but lol) I think the theme of a war being started and the sacrifice of another entire species falls into line with what humans have done before with many cultures.
Cassie and Javen represent the pinnacle of heroism and survival. Knowing that they could be lost to the cause, they press on, putting the future of others before them. There aren't a tremendous amount of people willing to do that, so they are the "ideal" in self-sacrifice. Profit over people and culture has always been a strong topic and Penner brings this to life in the book. A well written book, perfect for its time.
Overall I liked the story but the ending was filled with propaganda about saving the world from over abuse, that kind of was a let down for me.
Cassi and Vander (I think that is his name, my memory isn't as good as it used to be) must get Renewal to work to save both of their worlds. Part of the process has been destroyed and Cassi must stand in for the starfires that have been taken from that step in the plan.
Lots of happy things happen and some sad things happen and there is lots of action too!
This is a clean read. There was one cuss word in the last book, but none in any of the other books.
I enjoyed this fourth and final book in the series. Cassi was always easy to like. The romance developed well over the series. She grew up quite a bit as the series progressed. There were one or two nice surprises in this book. I did think some of Cassi's Starfire-related visions went on for a while, but that's a matter of opinion. I also wish there had been a little more to the "bad guy" in this book. Still, it was a quick and fun read and the series held my attention pretty easily throughout. The ending was satisfying.
This was a great ending to the Starfire Wars series. I loved the fact that this series not only had a deeper meaning than first meets the eye, but that even with the perils everyone faced, there was no gratuitus violence or Sexual physicality to the love story. How refreshing and thoughtful this whole series was 😊 I can't wait to start in on another book by the very talented Jenetta Penner!
A satisfying end to a great series!! Life has been busy for me lately but I still devoured this story (well it's also fairly short too lol)!
We begin with Cassi captured by Hammond, and quickly Cassi's life becomes even more complicated. I won't go into much about the plot since I don't want to spoil anything, there are a few twists that I didn't see coming! I would definitely give this series a try if you enjoy sci-fy and YA romance novels! I've been lucky enough to receive an ARC of a majority of Jenetta Penner's books and I think this one was my favorite (so far)!
As mentioned I received an advance reader's copy for my honest review from the author.
The characters were amazing throughout this series of books. The world-building was a constant and awesome thing to behold. Cassie and Javen just melted my heart. I loved this storytelling and the background of what was happening and why, brought it all together. Excellent read and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would do so.
I'm not sure how I feel about this conclusion...the ending of the book, the epilogue was beautiful but...I feel like the first half of this book dragged a bit. Cassi sounded a bit whiny at times and got in my nerves. Her connection with Javen felt over bearing at times. It was almost like she had to always be thinking of him in order to get anything done. The supporting cast was great though.

A fitting finale to the series. Lots of action. The situation comes to a climax – is war between Earth and Arcadia inevitable? Is there a way to save the Earth as well as the Alku? There’s quite a surprising twist. A wonderful message about the worth of all people. I received an ARC copy with no obligation.
Read this series after enjoying the Configured trilogy. This one shares many, too many, plot similarities with that series by the same author, but has a sparkly cyan crystal shine. A good escapist vacation read for fans of the “young woman may be destined to magically save the otherwise doomed world” genre.

What kind of book takes only two and a half hours to read? That is a frustrating length for the end of a series. At the beginning of the book, I was going to give this book two stars. There were just too many variables being added and not very satisfying reasons for why things could it couldn’t be done to try to safe Earth and Arcadia. Still, the ending was pretty good. This series was a nice distraction but if you’re looking for a well-written story with a thoughtful plot, good character building and satisfying world building, this is not the series for you.
This is the final book in the Starfire series and boy oh boy this series was so good. The characters and world building are so good and the growth for both evolve so well throughout the entire series. I loved the few surprises at the end of this book it made a great ending even better. I truly enjoyed the narrator of this series
I was completely immersed with the entire Starfire Wars series. I can't wait to read more series like this one. Jenetta, you're an awesome writer, especially when it comes to writing science fiction/fantasy/suspense and edge of your seat stories like this series. Thank you for this "awesome ride".
I enjoyed this conclusion to the series. It has quite a few surprises. The ending nicely resolves questions and I liked the epilogue showing everything many years later.
The story continues with the war being the only option. That’s what some of the people think. Cassi finds herself in the center of everything. She comes to realize that Javen is more involved than she wants him to be. There are multiple surprises that tend be very emotional.
This book was the final book in the series. I enjoyed the conclusion very much. I wasn't too surprised by it, but there were some unexpected additions to the end.
Well written, fully conceptualized world construct. Lots of exciting action, with 3D protagonists and enemies. Loved all four books. Thank you for giving Everything a chance.
This was a great ending for an exciting series, it tied everything up nicely. Everything we learned about the Starfire was really interesting. I really enjoyed this series and recommend it if you like YA sci-fi.
Excellent! Suburb wrap up to an excellent series. Great action, adventure, twists, and surprises. Love seeing all my favorite characters grow and achieve. A happy ending that made me cry!
What an amazing conclusion to an epic series. I was hoping there would be more books in the series. I’ll settle for another series by this outstanding writer of many books.
The ending of this series was perfect. It literally was everything I could have ever hoped for. I'm sad to let this world go. But I know it is in the capable hands of Javen and Cassiopeia.
