Draconian Warriors #4

Alien Hero's Claimed Bride

Rate this book

Abducted from Earth and now I’m being sold…

Cassandra...

Stranded and alone in a sector of space ruled by vicious queens, I’m losing hope of ever finding freedom. After being abducted, all I wanted was to escape from the aquatic species trying to sell me on the open market. They feed me cold slop every day, rough me up when I don’t do what they want, and keep me in a cage with standing room only...

One day, somehow, I’m going to turn the tables and I’ll put them in this same dirty cage. Making that happen is all I think about, because thinking about my life on Earth is too painful. They snatched me right when everything was going to hell in hand-basket!

Humans had finally organized to fight against the environmental disasters making the planet uninhabitable. I was pulling core samples on a mountain top when the aliens came for me. As it is, Earth needs me much more than the horrible aquatics intent on using me to line their pockets!

Mathadar...

Being one of millions of warriors in the Draconian fleet makes me insignificant and dispensable. Our Queens don’t value our contributions and see us as expendable. I’ve lost my father and my brothers have been assigned throughout the fleet. I’m alone, another faceless warrior for the cause...

All that changes when I see an alien Queen being auctioned in the city square. It makes my blood boil to see her with her hands tied above her head and her clothing ripped, exposing her pale, ripe body. When she struggles to escape, I imagine her moving on top of me in the same way. May the goddess forgive me for such deviant thoughts about the delicate and helpless Queen...

When her eyes lock with mine and she calls to me, nothing in the verse will keep me from coming to her rescue. Not even the fury of my own chain of command will keep me from her!

She is going to be mine!

She Did It Again

Damn, I love this series! Author, Juno Wells has done it again. With each new book in the series, she makes me fall in love with these chivalrous and loving Draconian males. The human women in this series all rise up from difficult circumstances to become the catalysts the Draconian males need to rebel against their evil queens. In the process both species come together to find love and happiness.

This brings Earth women and Draconian Warriors into contact for the first time. All women are Queens to the warriors and Earth women are very different. It seems that Draconian Queens are infected with a parasite that makes them cruel. Not so with Earth Women. A good romance and a great story to explain the world building and back story for this series. Love the warriors and look forward to seeing what comes next.

Backstory of how the Draconians arrived in Naxis and set up their another world where all are treated fairly

Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, semi-steamy intimate scenes and violence.

This is the backstory of the human Queen Cassandra and her Draconian warrior Mathadar. She was the first known human queen to be brought from Naxis, the system containing multiple areas including the Milky Way. She is being auctioned off by the aliens that kidnapped her from earth.

Mathadar and his fellow warriors were assigned to acquire more drugs for their addicted Queen. They have all noticed how her actions have become more erratic. When they arrive at one of the planets where it is manufactured, they hear about two females being auctioned off. When they find the auction, the alien queen is being displayed by the auctioneer. Their lives are forever changed when she orders them to rescue her and help her find the unascended draconian Queen.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading this story and series in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.

I almost rated this story 3 stars based on the number of grammatical errors and a couple of gaps in the storyline. I decided on the 4 stars because of the overall storyline arc and the potential for more in-depth and developed characters.

Cassandra is kidnapped from Earth by aquatic slavers, but when they put her on the auction block a Draconian warrior saves her.

Cass had been kept with a Draconian teenager , who had failed accepting the symbionts in the holy pool, and was sold off in disgrace, but who had filled Cass in on how the warriors should react to a female, any female. So when some showed up at the auction as she was being bid on she ordered them to save her, and they did, then they did what she told them and went after the reptilian who had bought the Draconian teenager. The lizard types fought and all ended up dead so Cass ordered the warriors to take their ship, free the other slaves, and get the heck out of Dodge. The Draconian teen, however, sends the ship off course to find the training vessel she was supposed to get, the one with her brothers and her love onboard. Other adult queens follow and attack them, they defeat both of them, taking their ships and warriors, and other missions are taken and finished before they finally, with four ships, find the rift from Exion space back to Naxis space where Earth is located. They have saved dozens of other human women and a few alien women, plus almost three thousand Draconian warriors and four Draconian females, all under seventeen, plus all their offspring. Lots of sexy scenes and space battles, with a happy ending.

4 &1\2🌟's for Mathadar and Cassandra

It's been a very long time since I've read a Draconian Warriors book. I started reading at the beginning of the series and then moved away and kinda forgot about them until recently. I'm so glad I found my way back and I've have several more to read which makes me very happy. There is something very sexy , and heart war.ing about these warriors. After learning how they have been horribly treated by their females and how they absolutely revere women. It makes you wish to be one of the lucky females to show them what it would be like to truly! be loved and treated as a partner and worthy Mate. Mathadar is a warrior who never believed that he was worthy of any thing good. He never dreamed that he would find a female that would be anything other than cruel. While on Monday swoon he sees and rescues an alien Queen a human female named Cassandra. She changed his entire world in the best possible ways. Cassandra was abducted from Earth in 2016 it is now well past 2032 she was placed in stasis and stolen to be sold into slavery until a huge gorgeous Draconian warrior saves her from a Rafe worse than death. The more she learns about he fabulous warrior the more she wants to make his world a better place. The more she wants to show him what real love could be like. There is so much go in on her important relationships between secondary and main characters happen. They learn about an evil parasite taking over young Draconian queens turning them into soulless killers, danger follows our couple and their friends as they fight for freedom and a new better way of life. All the while out favorite could navigate falling in love and becoming true partners. It's well worth the read and I can't wait to catch up on all the books in the series. So good.💖💖💖

Human Cassandra was abducted from Earth and finds herself in another sector of space where the Draconian warriors obey their queens and the Draconian queens are infected with a parasite which feeds on pain and so they are unbearably cruel to their men and even their children. Cassie is about to be sold in a market when she sees warrior Mathadar who immediately answers her call for help and is determined to keep her free and by his side. Can she go against the physically stronger Draconian queens and help the males to a better quality of life while getting back to somewhere safer?

I really enjoyed this story with the Draconian males having blind obedience to the females (queens) and the way that Cassandra taught them that it should be a partnership based on love, caring and mutual trust as opposed to the current situation of blind obedience, pain and heartbreak. All the while she was working to get them back to her own sector of space and away from the toxic environment with the parasites invading the queens. I loved their relationship and the way that it was a delight and a voyage of discovery for Mathadar and the other males. Easy to read and understand it is a story for mature readers only.

This is a good sci-fi alien romance, with a likable couple, and a good addition to the series. I was glad that we finally got Cassandra's story, as she has been in the earlier books, and it was obvious that her story actually occurred first.

I like that this series has a different take on the alien men -- even though they are physically strong and powerful, their culture is completely matriarchal. They have been abused and enslaved by their evil queens for centuries, but they still revere and treasure all women. They are alpha males, yet they are still happy to be led by women -- what a refreshing concept!

Some other reviewers didn't like that the men in this series are subservient to women, but I think it makes sense with their history. It is all they have ever known. That doesn't make them weak -- they are just doing what they must to allow them and their children to survive.

There is a mistake on the cover of this book that I find annoying. The Draconian males are described as not having hair, but the man on the cover has very long, white hair. It is a pet peeve of mine, but I think the cover pictures should match the character descriptions in the book.

Bringing on Change . . .

The story tells us of the first Draconian female to become Queen by entering the cave of ascension. As she walked through the glowing waters, she saw tiny glowing blobs moving through it. When she emerged from the water, she was a queen with the males subservient to her every wish. But soon, she felt changes occurring, something growing inside of her. Then nightmares started as the symbiont took control and turned cruel toward the males who obeyed her. All Draconian females had to become queens or they would be killed or sold into slavery. The Queens were cruel, evil, and loved making others suffer. And now Cassandra became the first human woman to be abducted and brought here. Will she escape the cruel fate waiting for her? Will Mathadar, a spaceship commander who falls in love with her, be able to rescue her and keep her safe? And will Cassandra become part of the plan to overcome the evil queens and teach others to value the men as partners worthy of love? It’s time for a change, but can so few be successful?

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Mathadar and Cassandra. It's easy (for me at least) to love Draconians, and how they revere and adore females. I also have a huge weakness for the males that feel unworthy. Mathadar was no exception after experiencing pain and loss at the hands of Queens.

'A male was only of value to his queen when he bred for her or risked his life to do her bidding.'

It made me angry how easily he was given pain and knew his life was worthless and he could be killed for even the tiniest of "offences." On the opposite side, I liked how strongly the males bonded together and looked out for each other.

I loved Cassandra bonding with Teladora. Tela was easily one of my favorite characters. Cassie was strong, quick thinking, brave, and loyal. Math was drawn to her from the start and risked his life for her without question.

This story was a fast-paced adventure. I loved the characters and I was completely hooked. 5 stars.

Mathadar is sent by his queen to procure more drugs for her drug addiction. The penalty for failure is death! When they land on the planet that supplies the drugs, they hear of an auction where a young Draconian queen is being auction off. The warriors cannot let a queen be sold! So off they go to rescue her. But when they get there, the female on the block is a human. When Cassandra see’s the Draconian warriors, she orders them to rescue her and kill all of her abductors. Then she orders them to find her friend Tela.

This is a great book that just keeps getting better. Cassandra has no idea what she is getting herself into when she starts acting like one of their queens. Once they rescue Tela, they must escape from the Queen that the warriors belong to. Not an easy feat! This book is filled with lots of action, emotions and a journey of discovery for Cassandra, Tela and the warriors protecting them. Probably my favorite on of the series so far!

This story is a flashback to the first encounter between a human woman and a Draconian warrior. I have been enjoying the Draconian series. The warriors are just so darn sweet! There’s not a lot of that going around—in fiction OR real life.

Apparently human women are a popular commodity on the slave market. Cassie has been abducted, but is rescued by hunky Draconian warriors who have to do whatever a woman tells them to. (Isn’t this an awesome woman’s fantasy?!) Draconian “queens” are evil beotches because they’re infected with malevolent parasites. You will have to read it yourself to find out if Cassie’s warriors manage to escape the queens chasing them. This is the perfect book to kick back with a drink & ice cream. YUM all around.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary review consideration.

So the last couple of books we’ve been with the human queens and the draconian after they escaped Exion space. This one we just back into Exion space to see what is going on. I loved this one. Cassandra was a very strong female who, after being a slave for years, has a great inner strength that she uses very well. She’s a natural leader and Queen to these Draconians. Mathadar is such a sweetheart. He too has an inner strength that has gotten him through dealing with the Draconian Queens. When he meets the human queen she is very different and he falls for the gentle strong woman Cassandra is.
I love that we got more information on the parasites and I love how Cassandra sticks with Mathadar and never leaves Tela behind either. Fantastic series that just keeps getting better.

I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

Really enjoying this series. Looking forward to the next book being published .

This first book in Ms. Juno's series of space aliens started out being a "iffy" or " maybe " thing for me . I wasn't sure how I felt about a bunch of subservient Dragon warriors . It's certainly not the kind of book I usually enjoy . I prefer strong alpha males and strong women . In these stories all women are treated like queens with total control over the race of tall, strongly built males . Somehow though, it works . The Dragon race of males manage to retain an inner strength despite the " Dragon Queens " and the horrible abuse these female visit upon the males .
It's a interesting concept that I plan on exploring further .

A well written story that held my interest throughout. Human Cassandra is kidnapped from Earth and is put up for auction. Mathadar a Draconian warrior and his crew see the slave auction while trying to purchase a drug required by their Queen. They save Cassandra and the other alien and human females being sold. The warriors are bemused by the attitudes of the human female “Queens”as the men are treated with respect that has never happened to them before. Reading how much these two go through to get their happy ending kept me turning pages. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing.

One of the things I particularly enjoyed in this book was two people found themselves in situations, and dealing with people very different than they were accustomed to, and they dug down deep and found the strength to face the situations, deal with the people involved, adapt and adjust to the changes they were facing. For Cassandra, that means using her anger at losing everything she held dear, and turning it towards an appropriate and worthy outlet.

Cassandra fighting for others who have been harmed by life and circumstances, taking that anger and using it to help others was empowering.

I was gifted with a copy of this book, and chose to post a review.

Abducted and about to be sold at auction, Cassie is surprised to be rescued by Draconian warriors. Using knowledge given to her by her cellmate Tela, she orders the warriors to help her find Tela. Mathadar is surprised by his protectiveness of the alien Queen, Cassie, but he will do whatever it takes to protect her and follow her commands, even going against the Draconian Queens and building a small fleet to try and stop the parasites from infecting any future Draconians. Full of drama and action, this spicy read sends you on a journey that will keep you hooked from the beginning. Enjoyable and gripping, a great read from Miranda.

Revidian is apparently a word created by author to indicate cunnilinguis there is also reverse revidian. This should have been explained by the author in beginning. Of book 1. But was not till book 3 so I was confused. I do like that the author made up words for alien species to describe things both recognizable and not. great series. Read all 11 books too bad 11th book ended abruptly and did not bring all happy families & couples together quite well. It ended so abruptly I kept trying to find a missing page or two. Or will there a 12th book?

Love this series!
We are back in the world of the Draconian Warriors. A drug-addicted cruel queen has sent her warriors off to obtain her latest fix, except while away the guys encounter Cassandra, a human being sold in the marketplace. Just before Cassandra, a young Draconian queen was sold. Now the commander, Mathadar, must follow the orders of Cassandra to free the two women. Following orders leads to danger, adventure, and romance for males not used to having a say in their world. Another great read from this author.

I love this author's books. You know you will get a good read that is well written. This one is no exception. The men are portrayed different in this one. They don't have to be all alpha male. The love and take care of their women and are not afraid to have them lead. She gets taken against her will and is being sold. He comes along and sees her and wants her. this is exciting, emotional, intriguing, suspenseful, hot and so much more.

Alien Hero's Claimed Bride by Junk Wells

A great new book with wonderful characters and entertaining story line that moves right along. Couldn't put it down once I got started! The ladies get the men and a great life won with pure cussedness woman power and mate supporting even when they didn't quite understand it all. After all, the ladies are the Queens, by means hook or crook! Right

Thanks for an entertaining tale Juno Wells!

Answers and a breath os fresh air

So glad author added Draconian immature queens to this story. Had just mentioned desire to see some get free.
The main character pair was great. Loved their story and journey. Happy we received a glimpse of their future.
Left with a few minor questions. What planet they were on? Did not seem like the other Draconian world with the co-ruling queens. Mention of the remaining ships going out to rescue other enslaved Draconian people.

I’ve read several books from this series, but I missed this part! Now I finally understand how they made their way to our part of the galaxy and how the truth about the parasites was revealed.

I have to say, the female main character is absolutely incredible! The way she treated the draconians really made a huge difference and won the others over. It’s so inspiring!.

Alien Hero’s Claimed Bride by Miranda Martin is amazing! Male warrior Mathadar saves female Cassandra from slavery and immediately falls for his new queen. Males are subservient to females in his culture. She and a Draconian female lead crews to topple their evil queens to try to free all from the tyranny of the symbionts possessing the evil queens. Can’t wait to read the next installment!.

Cassandra has been kidnapped from earth by some fishy type alien. She hates them and now finds herself being sold off at an auction. But she is rescued by Mathadar, a Draconian Warrior. This is another brilliant episode in this series. Cassandra proves herself to be a worthy adversary when dealing with the 'Queens'. I loved every minute of this book. Off to read the next one....

What a fun, spicy and often humorous read. Cassie is human and abducted by aquatic aliens. Kept in miserable conditions she's good she's to be auctioned off. The alien female in the next cage turns things around in a delightfully twisted way. I have to say the symbiont turned my stomach. Loved the ending.

Loved It

The story has a lot of twists and turns but love the friendship that developed between the unaffected teenage Draconian gueen and tne human gueen. A beautiful love story where a human female shows compassion, love, friendships, with out being cruel to the males species they rule. A must buy and keep them coming they are awesome.

A great story, lots of excitement

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! It starts off in a dark and dismal way, but we're introduced to two strong female characters, and then the story gets feet. It is full of heroic deeds and noble warriors who serve a queen. There are fantastic elements of tension as the hero group discover the evil plot and move to end it's reign.

Unique for Genre

A good 1st book in a loosely set . Juno does alien romance so well. This book is no exception. The minute details are very good here. (See vocabulary at end of book). It is generally well edited forTypos & this is big for me. They can be so distributing if it’s done poorly.
