He was alone. He had sent away his only allies, watched as they disappeared into the recesses of space, leaving him to finish what they had begun. To purge the galaxy of a great evil, that disguised itself behind a guise of help and the promise of fertility. The same Project that had made him into the twisted being he had become.
There was work to do, a purpose that was his own for the first time in his existence. He had no one to answer to, no one to dictate the course of his actions.
Until he met her.
He had not intended on taking a companion, especially one that worked for the facility he so despises.
But when she looked at him, when she asked for his help…
Everyone else would be purged. And she…
She would be the conscience he did not seem to possess.

I am an American by birth and situation, whose heart forever remains in Great Britain. I derive much inspiration from my holidays abroad, and my writing is heavily influenced by the delights of the English and Scottish countryside. My author's journey began in several reimaginings of The Phantom of the Opera where I explore happier endings for our beloved Erik-- hopefully aided by my degrees in psychology. I have a love for fantasy and paranormal romance, as well as the pleasure of a thrilling murder mystery... each of which have begun to creep into my writerly pursuits. When I am not consumed with a novel, I enjoy lavishing affection on my two cats, and working in historical costume design.

Lost in transit

This book pick up right after Designation 932 and it’s a running start . Clary is lost in transit to her pass and future, she monumentally naïve of world around her. But that’s what makes her so valuable to 261 , who native to what regular life is like without violence and slavery . This was sweet story and the best part is Remy makes a appearance. Love the way Catherine Miller waves her characters in her storyline .

Well Done

I wasn’t sure how the author would make a trained killer redeemable or likable but she got there. We met 261 and h, Clairy, in the first book. He sets out to destroy the facility and takes Clairy by force. Their journey results in 261 becoming more human as the two interact and there was a satisfying HEA.

Ok. Cydrin is so precious, and though there love was unconventional in its beginnings it was so sweet. He might not have realized his capacity to feel, but he felt such care for Clairy and it made my heart melt.

Storyteller

This author is more than a good writer, she's a good storyteller. They aren't the same. It's wonderful treat for the reader when they're combined.

Wonderful Story

This author has created an amazing world. The story is fascinating. Its well written to such a degree I became very involved with the characters. All I can say is "read this book". You will find yourself, like me, sad to give up these characters.
