This book peruses the various fasting methods but concentrates on one that involves calorie counting on off days. That's probably a good idea if you have a lot of weight to lose, but it complicates the simplicity of fasting for health. Fasting is not a sure-fire weight loss method if you continue a high-carb diet on off days, though it maintains its other health benefits. This is doubly true if you are sedentary. A portion of the book is given to recipes that offer good health while maintaining the necessary calorie count.

Another good source for information

This was another source for info to get started fasting. Very good source of different recipes to help count 500 calories.

Love it

It was a great informative read. I learned a lot from it. I highly recommend this book. If you have never done alternate day fasting this is a great place to start learning about it.

Losing weight intermittently

I really liked how this book read. It was in simple words and I could grasp the meaning, first hand. I also like the recipes found inside. They are all simple to make. All in all, not a bad read..

A detailed explanation of alternate day fasting

This is a quick read that covers the topic in detail. While it is somewhat heavy with reference links it also provides an excellent assortment of low calorie recipes that you can use on the fasting day.

Quick and to the point.

Gives sound, proven techniques to loose weight. Easy to implement, without special food or calculations. It started working the 1st week.
