CONTAINS: Place Value, science (genetic traits, velocity), probability, ratio, geometry, measurement
HANDS ON MATH: Skin Size, Sneeze Speed, I Can Do That, What are the Odds?, Right Ratios, Uniquely You
This book is about the human body. It tells different measurements and the number of different things that a human body has such as hairs on the head, blood cells, and different organs and how much they weight or the length of the organs. It has many mathematic principles that can be used at different times during the year. I like the hands on math sections that could be used during lessons.
I could break this book down and use sections in my lesson plans. I could especially use the Hands-On Math sections for my workshops.
