*This can be read as a stand alone, but you will probably enjoy it more if you've read the rest of the series. It's just a fun, light-hearted (and occasionally naughty) romp to make you smile.
When Rescue Omega Antoine set off on a mission to seduce an Alpha he'd only seen once, it didn't seem like such a bad idea! But then again, he never would have guessed that he'd be sucked into a tale of (semi) intrigue that would shake what he thought he knew about Easter to the very core! What follows is the never before told story of how an Omega Wolf saved Easter.
So cheesy, which I suppose I knew it would be going in. I also knew that this was book 16.5 in a series and that some context would be missing, which ended up being manageable. I read this on a rec for an Easter bunny bingo square and it definitely delivered on that premise.
It was overall just too instalust for me. I find instalust/love only works for me when the characters are given time afterwards to get to know each other, but I didn't feel like that was the case here. In fact they spend about half the book apart, and this is not a long book so I felt that the relationship was lacking development. I'm also never much in favour of omegaverse worlds where the omegas need permission from alphas to do things such as drive.
I wish the Easter bunny MLM scheme was more detailed, it was a fun subplot but wasn't enough for me.
Also what was with the coyote scene? Was it just an actual coyote and not a shifter? I'm confused. I did like how they both commented about how beautiful the other's shifted form was.
Better than the last one but definitely not the best of the bunch. 🙂 The earlier works in the series are way better than the later ones. Still, it was enjoyable and ok.
So, I read this as a standalone unaware that it was book 16.5! And while some background info is missing (like where was the omega saved from? The Omega Auction? idk it didn't seem to be important) this was a ridiculous ride that I won't be forgetting so soon.
I needed a book for a bingo square "an Easter-themed book OR bunny shifter MC" and I don't think I could have found a more fitting book if I'd tried any harder than typing 'rabbit MM' into my Kindle Search Bar.
This is an insta-love and -lust romance with a wolf omega who discovers the Easter Bunny in his new Alpha's back garden hut. He's hurt because he was trying to get the eggs ready for Easter with the traditional method which involves a cauldron and well it fell on bunny's legs. Stuff happens and Easter™ is saved because of the omega wolf :D
Quote "Seriously?" I asked with a laugh. "The ears?" Pete shrugged and a little touch of red darkened his cheeks. "I guess I'm spending too much time in a partial shift," he admitted. "Every time they give me my pain meds, the rabbit ears come out." I snorted. "So what you're saying is that you're suffering from earectile dysfunction?" (p.97)
NSFW infos: Alpha tops Omega bottoms condom breaks (no surprise mpreg though) being woken with a blow job without having talked about it before
🐇 THE LONG-EARED EASTER ENIGMA is a light-hearted holiday addition to THE OMEGA AUCTION CHRONICLES series by Kian Rhodes. 😀 This is a fun-to-read short story featuring an 🐺 Omega wolf who happens to be a vegetarian, 🐰 the Easter Bunny, and a 🐇 Sheriff who also happens to be an Alpha rabbit shifter.
This is part of a suspenseful and action filled shifter series with regular wolves, werewolves, dragons, bears, a turkey shifter and now rabbit shifters including The Easter Rabbit. What a ride this extra special series has been and I recommend it wholeheartedly. This is a low trauma but loving story that will warm you and make you smile
As always a wonderful book can’t wait for her next one to come out😀😃🥰🥰🥰🥰 she Never disappoints and always writes amazing box I love the series and hope you continues to go on
Nope - just Nope! Lost me totally when the brother was the easter bunny running a pyramid scheme! I know this was just for fun, but . . . . . NO can not make my brain go there - Vegan wolf who eats tacos. The answer must be really good drugs - for the writer.
As amazing as all of the other books have been. Funny, sweet and sexy as only this author can deliver. A must read just like all the books in this incredible series
The story of Antoine finally getting his happy ending was amazing. Another fabulous book in the Omega Auction Chronicles series!! Just a wonderful story.
Antoine has only made a few appearances in previous books and I was pleased to see he finally got his own book. He seems to be a bit of feisty guy who gets himself into a bit of a situation. He commits multiple crimes while trying to meet Keeson, the sheriff. Keeson and he have a bit of a problem communicating at moments, but they both fall hard and fast for one another. I loved the idea of rabbit shifters being our 'Easter bunnies'. I loved that everything came together in such a terrific way for Antoine and Keeson in the end.
