I almost DNF’d this book, but I kept reading hoping it would eventually get better. Unfortunately, it never really did. The story is filled with unnecessary filler, making it feel much longer than it needed to be. The constant jumps between the past and the present don’t add much to the plot or the suspense, they mostly slow the pacing down. I kept waiting for a twist that would make everything click, but the story just dragged on.

Overall, this book had an interesting premise, but the execution fell flat for me. It simply couldn’t hold my attention, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a fast-paced thriller with satisfying twists.
