I’m a single dad who hates commitment.
After making the mistake of sleeping with my daughter’s teacher,

Definitely a catch 22
Overall quality of writing was fair. Definitely had some glitches in proofreading. Discrepancies: first Eli asks Harley to sit at the table to do her homework, he steps into his bedroom to take a call and then a second one. Only, to come out to see Harley in her pjs wanting water, and Eli asks her what she's doing out of bed. The second blooper is Paige is talking to her mom on the phone talking about her and her parents going to a wedding in FL. Then she shows Eli a picture she's painting of her mom and tells him her parents have passed away only to later mention that her mom will look in on her cat. There's nothing romantic about running from a former MC group gone really bad and a teacher who after two talks with Haley's dad invades his privacy by showing up at his place and then jumps him. After five meet ups at school they love each other. Intimacy scenes yes....hot, no. There's no cheating or cliffhanger and a promise to possibly more.

Elias has custody of his daughter for now, but his ex’s parents would love to find any reason to get custody taken from him. He meets his Paige Harley’s teacher and sparks fly. Elias past doesn’t want to leave him alone, will it ruin his chance at a happy family? Fast-paced read with great chemistry and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Paige is Harley's art teacher and when her art takes a dark tone she asks her father to see her because she's worried. When Elias shows up and hears what she wanted to talk about he was not happy. He doesn't think there's anything wrong with how his daughter is creative. Sparks fly between him and Paige as they discuss Harley. When he accidentally leaves his phone on her desk she takes it back to his studio on her lunch hour. Elias is being pulled back in the mc life even though they said he was free and he doesn't know what to do to keep the people in his life safe. He knows the threats are real when the mc starts following Paige. Will Elias be able to keep them safe? What will happen if he does what the mc wants?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Roller-coaster ride

Catch - 22 is a roller-coaster of a story with a lot of drama, blackmail, a man trying to do right by his daughter, a beautiful and sweet little girl, a beautiful and sexy art teacher and more. The story is about Elias, his daughter Harley and her art teacher Paige. When Elias's ex goes into rehab he gets custody of Harley. He may be a biker who is now going to leave that life behind to do right by Harley but there are still forces that try to pull him back into the darkness and violence of the MC. But there is also the lightness of Paige that pulls him in the other direction and that is the one he really wants, and her also.
At times this was a exciting and nail-biting story. The characters were nicely written and the chemistry between Elias and Paige is sparking hot. Overall this was a good read.

I always enjoy a good book with a bright kid in it. This story is about Elias, his daughter Harley and Harley’s teacher Paige. This was a good story; however, the MC portion was just a bit much for me, but I guess I have not read too many MC books to be familiar with them. Harley’s mother is mention a lot in the book but her parents are the ones trying to take Harley away from Elias. Paige is an art teacher, fond to Harley’s artistic side, and is concern that although she is talented, her drawings are a little dark. She is also attracted to Elias, so the story goes with him trying to protect her and his daughter to getting rid of his past with an MC group that has one last job for him to do or else...
This book has a happy ending, but not one that I expected. Overall, it is a good read, the ending could have been extended because it either was missing something or a bit rushed.

I really enjoyed the style of this book. Brenda Ford created characters who live very different lives but who connected over something they both care about. They didn’t have that steamy ‘want to rip each others clothes off’ first meeting that seems prevalent in this genre. So we get to see them develop more of a friendship first. The story line is still pretty fast paced, I think overall the entire thing covers about two weeks. There’s a bit of suspense when the bad boy lifestyle Eli walked away from when his daughter Harley was born tries to draw him back in. He’s not sure if he should peruse Harleys art teacher Paige knowing he could be putting her in danger. Top it off his ex’s parents are trying to get custody. If you’re looking for something quick to read and enjoy I recommend this book.

Even though he is out of the club the club calls him back which may put himself and his daughter in trouble.
He now also has his daughter’s art teacher to protect also. Paige works as a art teacher at a private school. She is nothing like the prissy parents that send their kids there. Once she sees Elias she feels an attraction and he is normally not her type at all but she feels a pull towards him and because of her acquaintance to him her life may be in danger.
The only thing missing from this story was an epilogue. I wanted to see Paige and Elia’s and little Harley’s future life together.

Catch-22. This book was enjoyable to read. The characters were quite interesting. The story had me on pins and needles waiting for the worst. Elias is an ex-MC member that has turned his life around because of his little girl,Harley, he is raising by himself. He's approached by his old MC leader to do the unthinkable or else. Paige is Harley's teacher that becomes interested in Elias and caught in the snare of this blackmailing scheme that Mav has brought about so that he can get rid of Elias, and Carl, the drug dealer who supplies Amy, Elias' ex and Harley's mom, with drugs. My Daughter First!
This was a refreshing romantic story! Not, what i was expecting, but a welcome change. Elias thinks of his daughter, Harley, first and always, even when his past comes back to haunt him. A past involving his ex-wife, his in-laws, and the old motorcycle club he belonged to before Harley came along.
He puts a great deal of trust in, Paige, his daughter's art teacher at the private elementary school. It seems she is the only one in his corner.
There was romance, hot & steamy, suspense and twists you don't see coming. There is a happy ending, but I do not want to give anything away. This is a very good book to read in a couple of hours ,because you won't want to put it down. Excellent!

This book was entertaining and sexy.
Elias is a single parent with a past connection to a motorcycle gang. He has custody of his daughter since her mother is in a drug rehab. Yes Harley's mother chose drugs over her beautiful and Elias will do everything in his power to keep her away from that life so he has to watch his P's and Q's to prevent giving his ex's parents and fuel to take Harley away from him.
Then Elias meets Paige, Harley's art teacher at the pre-school she attends and try as he might there is nothing he can do to prevent falling for her and this causes some problems.
With a lot of suspense the book follows the MC club blackmailing Elias into going against all he is and agreeing to kill someone.

Paige adores the little girl and one conversation quickly leads to another and before you know it these two are wrestling with their desires and feelings for the other. When his old life and the MC he walked away from back he’s forced to put his life on the line. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of an epilogue. Read through Kindle Unlimited

Mixed feelings
I really liked the book in a way, and in a way, I didn't. The writing was neat and polished, and the story was more or less well put together. I thought he was way too harsh to begin with, didn't think out the escape plan very well, and I didn't like that they were not a solid family at the end. You don't have to be blood related to be a parent, and I also didn't like how she didn't want kids yet. I understand waiting, but I didn't like her attitude or tone about it.

Pretty good read!
I enjoyed reading this story of Paige & Elias finding love. Paige is an art teacher at a snooty school where Elias' Daughter is in one of her classes. Eventually, Elias' past in the MC catches up with him and he finds himself in a very dangerous situation that can also be dangerous for those around him. To say more would say too much. The only problem I had with this book was that this author definitely needs an editor - lots of extra words in wrong places and off combinations of words. It was a decent story, though.

A former MC member, who left the life to be a better dad to his daughter. His old MC are trying to draw him back in, he tries-everything to avoid being pulled back into the life. Against his better judgement, bearing in mind his dicey situation, falling in love with his daughter’s beautiful, talented art teacher, probably isn’t a good idea.

Elias only has his daughter in life and he would do anything for her. When he meets Paige, his daughter Harley’s art teacher, they are drawn to each other. When his past comes calling he knows he has to distance himself from her to keep her safe while his old MC gang blackmails him into doing something dangerous, but when he finds out it’s too late to keep her safe from them he trusts her to keep his daughter safe and run with her in case the worst happens.

Paige is a school teacher in art. One of the student Harley is very talented but her art is different and she is a little concerned. Elias is the father and is single. He is not considered he knows where her idea's comes from. The chemistry is strong between Paige and him but he knows he has to stay away from her to keep her out of the danger he is involved in. This book was great. So exciting that I couldn't put it down. Romantic and hot. I loved it

Superbly written! Immediately this book will draw you in and immerse you into a world of excitement, action, drama, blackmail, and suspense. The story flows smoothly and moves along at a brisk pace and is an on the edge of your seat read. Likeable characters, the chemistry between them is off the charts. A MUST READ!

Wow! Talk about a story that hits reality with a bulls eye. Elias has worked hard to get his life on track and be the best dad he can be but mistakes from his past make an unexpected appearance. Paige is his daughters art teacher and gets pulled in to the circumstances that threaten everything that's good in Elias' life. The tension builds to the point of exploding and an unexpected twist finally brings it all together

It's an okay book, that I snagged during a promo.
There's quite a bit of redundancy & missed opportunities to build characters outside of the Paige/Elias bubble.
The relationship between them happens at an unrealistic pace.
I LOVE a confident, inked MC who puts his child before everything.
Not sure if the author was attempting to make Paige naive or, snobby BUT she came off as flakey at times.

This is a good read that is well written and has plenty of drama....Ex MC member trying to make a good life for him and his daughter only to find himself facing other difficulties from in-laws and former members of his MC. Can he move on from his past or will he be pulled back in?

This was a great book you have a teacher and a tattoo bad boy single dad. The characters are well developed and engaging with a great and easy flowing storyline. Drama and twist and turns the couple will need to navigate to get their HEA.

This was an odd for me. I liked the premise and the characters... sort of. But it all felt... hurried and underdeveloped.
Also, maahoosive continuity error. Paige's dad was alive when she spoke to her Mum the night her place was broken into... then he was suddenly dead when Elias was looking at her artwork?? Gahh.
So, although I read it all... it just didn't right with me.

I didn't hate it but I certainly didn't love it. Also, I don't quite get how the title fit in with the actual story. Yes, I know what a Catch-22 is, I had to read the Joseph Heller tome in high school. I just don't recall any instances of catch-22 in this book (unless I missed it the handful of times I dozed off).

Crazy Attraction
This story was a quick, angsty love story. Paige was Harley’s art teacher. Elias was Harley’s single dad. There was a feeling of friction between them. Then there was their attraction. Problem was Elias’ past, somehow it got stuck with his present and future.
Things worked out all around.
I liked this story and would definitely recommend.

This was an enjoyable read. The MC's were very different from each other but they worked well together. Paige is an art teacher and she meets Elias when she confronts him about his daughter's art. Elias is trying to better his life after he made some mistakes in his past. However, his in-laws have other plans. Thankfully in the end everything works out and they all are happy.
