The last 3 books in The Untouchables series boxed together do not disappoint - they follow the stories of some of the men and women introduced in earlier tales and are engrossing and entertaining. The set starts with Book 10, The Duke of Seduction - an emotional story that features an intelligent wallflower, Lady Lavinia Gillingham; an apparent rake with a touch of mystery, William Beckett, the Marquess of Northampton; and a great romance. The next book Book 11, The Duke of Kisses is a more lighthearted book that follows the story of Frances Snowden and David Langley, the Earl of St. Ives. David, unfortunately has already been promised to another. Can the two surmount the odds and find love together? The book concludes with Book 12, The Duke of Distraction - the one that I was putting off reading because I didn’t want the series to end. I particularly loved this book that finally had a happily ever after for Sarah Colton and Felix Wavers, the Earl of Ware. This box set captured my imagination - I did not want it to end. I am happy to see that some of the characters that did not get their own story in this series do in the Spitfire Society series that follows, also by Darcy Burke. Any of the stories in this series can be read as stand alone books but the reader will, in my opinion, get more enjoyment from them if read in sequence. I absolutely loved all of these stories. If you want to experience heart rending stories with fabulous male and female characters open this book (or any in the series), relax and enjoy.
