*** Reviewing BOOK 4 - MARTIAN EARTH ***
Ozzy occupied the Captain’s chair in a Class-14 Quadruple Engine Electrohydrodynamic Ionic Thruster 113 SX Vessel – fortunately simply known as “the Eagle” – not believing he was on this suicide mission to Earth. Jozi had claimed that he needed to do something right for humanity, and somehow that convinced him. But what they were facing now would give him second thoughts on that!
The Dunrakee had detected them which is why his mood had soured. Naturally the enemy warship, hidden on the dark side of Earth’s moon, was heading their way. Ozzy asked Jozi if she saw any additional Dunrakee on radar, then yelled when he did not get an answer. But Jozi was checking out why the graviton shields were not coming online, something they should have checked before they departed. And sure enough, several missiles were coming right at them! Zeld ran in and her first comment when she saw the vidscreen was to remark that they were all imbeciles! She dove to Jozi’s seat, knocking her to the floor, as she activated the graviton shields in one fluid motion.
Retrieving the hidden crystal sphere – an ancient artifact – from Earth as soon as possible for Jonas Moon, was their mission. So Ozzy had not waited for Zeld to join them before approaching the moon. She was right to be angry, but there was no time to argue the point as Ozzy and Jozi rushed off the bridge to bring down the enemy warship. Ozzy fired on the warship, but the warship fired back and exploded the G-114’s. The warship fired missiles, so Ozzy moved below Eagle to temporarily hide, only to see the missile pass then TURN AROUND and come back at him! How could that be? He fired on the missile and it MOVED out of the way! Impossible! It looked like there was no escape this time. Ozzy fired multiple photon blasts at the enemy, rotating his pod in a circle, with 2 seconds left to trick the AI guiding the missile.
Jozi, on the side opposite Ozzy, was able to shoot the missile, but it cracked in half and the damaged warhead continued right toward his pod on a collision course! He got the pod stopped just inches from the Eagle! Zeld shouted that more ships were leaving Earth but, if they could get the warship shot down in the next 10 minutes, they could cloak themselves and hide on the moon. Ozzy sent multiple weapons fire at the warship – and two hit home. He had done it! But when he radioed Jozi, he got no answer. Zeld reported that her pod was no longer attached to Eagle and most likely had been disintegrated, as a missile was fired at her right before Ozzy destroyed the warship. Could she truly be dead? Was their mission ending here?
This entire box set is awesome! The reader can immediately see that the action is fast-paced and continuous in this book! The goal of the mission Ozzy is sent on is to find a way to take back Earth from the Dunrakee so that humanity can return to their home planet. It amounts to genocide for the Dunrakee. But somewhere along the way, Ozzy will see that the enemy race is not totally evil. Will that affect the mission directive? Grab your copy, strap into your seat, and enjoy this entire collection!

HE thought he was working to help their colony, but their leader High Judge Robert wanted to use his abilities while threatening to hurt his daughter if he told everyone what his true intentions were. Aliens called the Dunrakee had destroyed humanity and kicked what was left of planet Earth, And colonized it for themselves. Now they have sent a terrible, unstoppable force to the last human outposts on Mars. Ozzy is the only person that can stop them because he is an expert on Martian hieroglyphs and can decipher and read them with no problem.
Ozzy had everything he wanted, he was a university professor, he had a young 4yr Daughter called Lizzy who he adored and would do anything for. Unfortunately, high Judge Robert had other ideas. Ozzy thought he would be doing things to help the colony until he found out things about Judge Robert and then things started to go downhill rapidly he lost his job at the university his marriage broke down, he was warned to stay away from his family and especially his daughter or ells she would have some kind of a fatal accident

Poor Ozzy every crime lord on mars is using him, He gets teamed up with a partner called Jozi and Ozzy was trying to tell her how he had been set up by high judge Robert, but she was working undercover for Robert and did not believe what Ozzy was telling her about him, but she didn’t know how Robert used and manipulated others to his own ends. Her abilities as a member of the Mars Ministry Police made it difficult for her to accept what Ozzy was saying, but her desire to save the colony was what drove her to work with Ozzy. Space action, adventure to save to the world!
Great fast paced series about one guys adventures while trying to save the Human race.
1. A blackmailed archaeologist, who just wants to be with his daughter. Instead has to save the world from the plague and bad guys who want to wipe out the human race.
2. Save Mars! Mars is home to the human race since the Dunrakee took over earth. Now, they want Mars. Ozzy has to save Mars from the Dunrakee, using the Ark. While trying to avoid everyone who is after him. Great story, non-stop action.
3. Everyone is out to kill Ozzy. His whole life is a catch-22. Interesting story, reading how Ozzy goes from one crisis to the next.
4. With the help of Jozi and Zeld, Ozzy plans to commit genocide on the Dunrakee on Earth, so Humans can move back home. Jozi and Ozzy learn that the Dunrakee are not an evil race, in this fast paced action adventure. You don't know what will happen one minute to the next.

In this action packed space opera, Ozzy, a down and out archaeologist with some questionable ethics when it comes to antiquities gets pulled into one crisis after another as he fights to save his young daughter and mankind after their exile to Mars from a conquered Earth. Throughout the 4 novel collection, our hero collects a rag-tag band of associates who fight to save Mars and ultimately civilization.
It sounds dark and heavy. It's not. Ozzy is one of the most lovable scoundrels in literature - sometimes inept, often morally and financially challenged but driven by his well meaning nature and the moral compass provided by his new associates.
Each story can stand alone since it deals with a single adventure but why pick them up one at a time when you can have the whole set in this convenient and reasonably priced boxed set?
A must or space opera fans.

Mind numbing
Where to start? Characters you care nothing about, beyond bad science, telling us every other paragraph that the story is on Mars, naming everything "Mars", Mars rover, Mars jumper, Mars dung (no kidding), telling us the long useless names of the same ships over and over. Timelines which make zero sense.
Made it through the first book of the 4 I bought and that is as far as I can go.

With this box set, you get the first 4 books in the series. An action packed read that you can’t put down. Ozzy Mack is a great character that seems to find trouble at every turn or maybe trouble finds him. Either way, you can’t help but want to see how he gets out of the different situations. The author has done a good job with the story line and character development throughout. Well worth the read.

I’ve read (and separately reviewed) each of these books. I rated each of them as 5-stars. Great universe-building, casts of lead and supporting characters, plots and overarching story arc. All really well written. Also all pretty darn addictive. If you’ve not read these yet then I highly recommend the boxset. You’ll end up reading all four books anyway. It will be a compulsion. So it’s a great deal to get them all in this set.

Wasn't in the mood
I got only about 15% of the way through before I lost interest. It was too slapstick and not the drama I expected. The cover was nice but characters and background were more for laugh setup than adventure.
It actually looks like it would be a fun, light read but I wasn't in the mood.

And so........
A very story, Ozzy kept me entertained from the beginning. A great cast of characters, all with there own agenda.
Quite a lot of spelling errors and nomenclature errors. Still a good read.

Great read
Excellent series with well written characters. Ozzy has to be the unluckiest souls in the galaxy and one of the luckiest to have great folks around to save his butt. Looking forward to the next story in the series.

Interesting
Kind of hokey in places. Characters are wounded badly too often and the comic book sounds of weapons and explosions is overdone, but the plot is okay and some of the technical aspects were reasonable.

Great Read
Got so wrapped up in the story I had to read Martian Legacy before posting this. Characters and events fitted together like it was happening in the present day. It drew me in has if I was there observing it happening.
