"Shield," by Grace Brennan fourth book in the Blood and Bone Enforcers series I loved it. This one is about Liam a White Raven shifter part of the Blood & Bone MC who finds his mate while on a case with his brother shifters. The case they are on is freeing female dragon shifters from a cruel man. In the process they hire a human to come and talk to the females after their ordeal. In comes Jalina..Jay for short. Liam and her have a fall in love. What will happen between the two. Can they figure out their problems.... read and find out.

Drama, drama, so much drama. I was reading a soap opera that I didn't want to turn off. I was completely addicted and needed to know what was going on. And more importantly, what would happen next. My mind ran wild. So many assumptions. So many guesses. So many thoughts. Who needs to by mind games when Grace Brennan creates great mind blowing games.

So here is a quick summary---Grumpy Liam has up a six foot shield that no one could penetrate. He refused to talk about his past as it slowly ate him away, tearing him apart inch by inch. Then Jay walks into the clubhouse.

Jay is there to help the female dragons. Jay is there to help herself deal with her past, her survivor guilt. Her mother was killed in a car accident and she survived. Maybe a little something of her mom lives on????

The chemistry between Jay and Liam is heating up the kitchen. Something is heating up in Jay as well. Grab this book and discover all the twists, turns and surprises that made my day. I do love a happy mating.

The series continues where it left off bringing in Jalina to help the rescued female dragons. Jalina is a human psychologist who knows about shifters and is perfect for the job, despite her personal problems. Self-proclaimed ruler of the kitchen, Liam has been a bit of an enigma throughout the series and now we get those answers we've been seeking. Like Jay, he's got a tragic past that has shaped the man he is today. Together they are able to heal each other as they fall in love. And the twist to the story is amazing! Plus you can't help but laugh out loud at Skylar's brief appearance and the introduction of Colton who I can't wait to read about. I'm looking forward to the next story and hoping for some more action as they go after the final captive dragon.

Yes to Shield

Shield is the 3rd book in Blood & Bone Enforcers...This is Liam's story he is the sexy Irish Raven Shifter who is king of the kitchen. Jay is his sexy, feisty mate but Liam will have to pull out all the moves to get Jay to give him a chance.
Shield is a fast pace story filled with humor, tears and sexy moments. A couple new characters make an appearance as well as Skylar aka CockRooster shifter. I enjoyed this story and I can't wait to read more from this author. Happy Reading!!

Grace Brennan hit this one just right! It was not as fast paced as some of her other books, but fit Liam and Jay just right. This pair is a great example of opposites attract. I thought long and hard about what to write here and what not, because I don't want to spoil the story. I can say though it was a great read that kept me glued to the pages even without the action. I loved it and can't wait for the next one!!!

There is so much going on here!

I just loved this installment of the Blood and Bone Enforcers series. There is a lot going on here; the rescued dragons from the previous book, Iced; the introduction of Colton, a male dragon and rogue enforcer; more fun with Skylar, the chicken shifter; Liam's backstory, and the intro to his mate. What a great book!
