"Memories of Snow" is full of real, complex characters. This novel is chock full of real life, including a soldier's experience and the suffering both he and his family endure during and after WWII. Alison Dye tactfully reveals insight into past events of her characters, which allows the reader to understand their actions has they struggle through the emotions of death and love.
