As a NZ community nurse I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of the book. It was so interesting to read about the history and grassroots of so many aspects of community care/nursing today. I was less interested in the latter part of the book which goes into how the Nurse Maude organisation adapted and changed for modern times, however over all it was an enjoyable read.
I was in a Nurse Maude 2nd shop and ask about the history of the organisation and this is the book that they sold me. Very interesting read she( Sibylla Maude ) was way before her time with Nursing in the community. Even from a non nursing mind I enjoyed reading this.
