I never sleep alone. That's why they call me Notch. Because I am always adding a new line on my bedpost. So when I meet Maya, she's just another conquest. There is something about her slender frame and long legs that keep me coming back for more. With the end of the war in sight, I let my guard down and make her scream my name. But when I find out she's our enemy’s sister, I question everything. And I am forced to decide what is more important. Ending the war for our club. Or being with her.
Savannah Rylan writes dirty-talking motorcycle club and mafia romance filled with ruthless men, ride-or-die loyalty, and women who don’t back down.
She has a soft spot for anti-heroes with scars, found family dynamics, and enemies-to-lovers stories that make her heart melt. If there’s a morally gray biker growling “mine,” she’s one happy girl.
When she’s not plotting revenge arcs and steamy showdowns, Savannah is wrangling two tiny humans, two chaotic dogs, and a husband who has fully accepted that fictional bikers pay the bills. She’s known for rocking rainbow hair (usually some shade of pink or purple), surviving East Coast winters with dramatic flair, and drinking coffee like it’s water.
Originally from sunny California, she now lives where it snows, which she deeply resents. But at least it gives her more time to stay inside and write about men who prefer leather cuts over parkas.
If you love possessive heroes, high-stakes drama, and spice that fogs up the windows, you’re in the right place.
'The Lost Boys' series. continues with 'Notch' book 4 in the series. Just as with the introduction, 'Texas', book 2, 'Stone' and finally boom 3 'Bronx' in the series, they were okay reads but 'Notch' was just a bit better and the author tried to appeal to the emotional side of readers. I happen to enjoy MC books. I'm a little off put when the MC is a bit on the soft side and emotional ties to the characters are not developed fully. However, I think thus far 'Notch' is the best as it seems Notch is a complex man and the author tried to make that deeper pull with Notches charavter But overall it was a good read. ~Laters Peeps
This is the conclusion to Savannah Rylan's - LOST BOYS MC series with the love story of Notch and Maya. Each book can be read as a stand alone, although it's good to read this series along with the other books, as they all have the same characters, and you know their stories.
In this book we have Notch. He was a paramedic in his past career. He helps those with the Lost Boys who have ben injured. He usually has a one and done type of relationship. Until he meets Maya - his tattoo artist. He is drawn to her. He wants to go back to see her, to have her touch him.
Maya, is a local San Diego Tattoo artist. She loves drawing and inking people. For some of her customers she's a therapist as well. Listening to problems and helping as much as she can. When Notch comes in she knows she's in trouble. She doesn't usually go out or sleep with her clients but with Notch - she can't stop thinking about him.
I did receive a FREE ARC Copy of this book. I am leaving a honest review.
“Notch” is the conclusion to the Lost Boys series and I am so unhappy to see this series end. As usual Savannah has given us a story that will without a doubt hold your interest until the last page. This intriguing, fast-paced, roller-coaster ride has everything you could hope for. Notch is an ex paramedic who uses his skills to help the club. He is also a hit and quit guy until he meets Maya. Maya is an excellent tattoo artist Notch meets when he decides to get another tattoo. There is instant, electrifying chemistry when Maya and Notch see each other. Unknown to Notch is the fact that Maya is closely related to a member of The Elusive their sworn enemy. How can they ever trust each other and reach their HEA? “Notch” offers spine-chilling suspense and sizzling romance that will keep you reading non-stop. This book is another true masterpiece from Ms. Riley a fantastic storyteller. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Loved Maya & Notch's story. I couldn't put this one down. Great characters. Well written. Loving this series. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via bookfunnel.
Notch & Maya: TRIGGERS: assault, kidnapping, trafficking (guns & human). Finally, the series gets pulled together but I have to say that this book was a bit more annoying than the others. It seems that the LBMC and Freya's dad's MC are all together trying to find a way to get rid of the Chinese. Everyone is on lockdown and bickering at each other. Stone more than anyone. Notch seems to be the only member willing to stand up to his president and find a way out of the mess they were in. Now it seems to me that some of his choices didn't makes sense but hey, it's a book. Notch decides to get a tattoo where he meets Maya who is the artist. Maya has secrets... She's actually an immigrant running from her past in... China. Her parents were killed and her brother is involved with bad people. When her brother shows up after years, she's knows she's in trouble. Whether to stay or bug out becomes her thought process. When she meets notch, she becomes interested and curious. They become involved and it's a bit steamy then the 💩 hits the 🪭! Turns out Maya is more connected to all the MC's drama than she realized and Notch will protect her no matter what. I didn't like how the author in a way made Stone the villain within the MC and he was more of a dictator. I did like that Freya's dad, Asher was there to kind of keep everyone in check. This book did not show as much MC comraderie and we did see much of the other old ladies. All in all. It wasn't bad to close it the box set.
Asian tattoo artist, Maya resisted being part of the family business until the gang her father and brother worked for, killed their parents, then she went to America to get lost among the population. Ex paramedic Notch is certain all the soft feelings his brothers have gone down with isn’t for him and decides now is the best time to add to his bodies tattoo collection.
As the club tries to find the betrayal point and confirm the police/Chinese gang alliance, Maya’s brother, Harry Cheng, arrives in her shop from China, pressuring her to come under the gang’s protection, putting her in a sharp mood by the time Notch wanders in to get work done. She softens greatly to make up for earlier attitude.
Double coincidences make Notch and Harry wonder if Maya is feeding information to the other. Things come to a head with the crew dating the both the main detective’s daughter and her half-sister, plus Harry’s sister. Rating: 3.25stars
It's interesting how Bitch can take his tats 2 heart from his past and make good memories of them. When he goes 2 a get a new special tat he finds something soooo much better and surprising. When she finally puts 2and 2 2get her about her past and what her bro keeps hounding her out of the blue, things need 2 change asap!! When he threatens her worse than she thought possible shot hits the fan!! It made me cry about what happened 2 Terry. He just needed help but he lost his way after everything had happened in his past. At t least he got 2 c his daughter finally but not the way anyone would want 2. Notch helped save the only woman he could have fallen 4 and that will make him change his ways 4 the better.
I kept waiting for Mia's brother to reveal that everything he'd done was for her safety so imagine my disappointment when that wasn't the case.
Overall, this was probably the best book in the series in my opinion (I haven't read the later books so that could change). The thing I liked most was that SOMEONE finally stood up to Stone. That guy gets on my nerves so Notch basically saying "f--k it" made him my favorite on the crew. I just wish that they would have come crawling back to me.
I'm guessing that there's more to Asher's club because of some stuff said at the beginning but like always with this series, I'm guessing I have to listen to other books to actually find out what it is.
Awesome! Another wonderful, exciting Lost Boys Motorcycle (MC) story filled with action, intrigue and suspense. Notch (he has the name for a reason: bed post). He’s the EMT/doctor for his club and goes to get a new tattoo. He meets Maya the owner and tattoo artist. They feel chemistry right away. Unfortunately Notch finds out her brother is the man trying to eliminate his club. Ms. Rylan did a great job developing excellent characters and story line. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Rylan.
Notch is the fourth book in the Lost Boys MC and Savannah Rylan brings her A game in the conclusion to this fabulous series. Rather than rehash the plot (you can read the blurb yourself), let me say that Notch and Maya are wonderful characters brought to life on the pages by an exceptional author. This book truly has it all: chemistry, angst, suspense, romance and the HEA ending. I am sad to know that this series has ended, but I am sure that whatever Savannah Rylan has planned next, it will be worth the wait!
I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. I really enjoyed all of the characters. This was the book of compassion, having an open mind, revenge, and making the best decisions for yourself. Notch and Maya they were a very unusual couple. She was a tattoo artist and he was a person I really like tattoos. I really enjoyed this book this book was well-written and the author hit the nail on everything. Great read! I recommend this book to all MC lovers and romance readers.
So, I just finished this book and the series. Have to I think I like Notch the best. As much as Bronx was more quiet her , Notch just really struck a chord that made me love him . His protective instincts for not only Maya, but his club, hidden by his own troubles just brought out the best character. I just wish the ending encompassed more of the entire crew. My hope is there will be another book.
This is hopefully not the last of the series . I really really like Notch, he is something of a closed off Wounded warrior. You love him from the start. He takes good care of those around him, his loyalty is unquestioned. Maya is a tough as nails tattooist, related to the clubs biggest enemy. I get they find each other and have a connection Thatcher really be broken right from the start.it is a great love story.
What a terrific ending to this wonderful series. I loved Notch and Maya's romance. The story was very gripping and held my attention with a delicious blend of drama, action, danger, suspense, emotional turmoil, tension and heat. I'm sorry to see The Lost Boys MC take their final ride but at least it was a satisfying and fun trip. This is my candid review that I am posting by my own choice.
Notch is the perfect way to end the series. His bed never stayed empty but after meeting Maya, Notch doesn't know whether to trust her or do what is necessary for the MC. This book is a page turner filled with action, suspense, betrayal, love and loyalty. Read to find out if Notch and Maya can overcome brothers to find love in each other.
Bad boy Notch only sees women as a new conquest till he meets Maya!!
Maya has a secret and tries really hard to hide it, but when she meets Notch and discovers he is someone she wants to know better, her secret comes out!! Notch falls in love with Maya and risk everything to protect her ! Recommend with a 5 Stars rating
Notch and Maya's story is intense, dangerous, gripping and more. At time this story is heart wrenching and emotional but still full of action and very entertaining. The war is on the battle lines drawn. Let's see who survives.
Notch's vow of never falling in loves is blown away by a petite little woman the needles her way under his skin to his heart. His vowed he would never fall in love, but even the might do fall. A action pack struggle to safe the ones Notch loves. Great read.
I'm guessing this was the last book in the series. The ending just didn't do it for me. I wanted all loose ends tied up and I didn't get that. It was good, oh so good... with a lackluster ending. Great series though
The story line is similar to the other books, but the characters are different. Too many errors with spelling, word content and grammar. I was trying to give this series a chance to hopefully be able to keep me interested in the characters, but it doesn't.
Loved the characters and the continued storyline through this series!! Another book in this series was a short read and kept me hooked from beginning to end!! Can’t wait to see where this series is going!!
Omg this one had me laughing crying emotionally in awe dang I just couldn’t put it down this series was off the charts. I can’t can’t to read next series
