Maybe not perfect written but this book is so valuable because it teaches you how to study and succeed in your study. If you could give one book per year six stars I would give them to this book.
It's a shame I read this when I am 56 years old.
Why don't they teach this at high school?

The only section of the book that was clearly for criminology students was the third part, but otherwise everything can be applied to any student. Most of the textbook contains information on how to learn and gain academic skills. That was actually impressive because I found things here that are not discussed in other similar books. But other than that, I was not really satisfied with the content, considering the title only. I was expecting a different kind of criminology, more practical, perhaps. The target audience for this book consists of freshmen students in criminology, which I clearly am not.
